I had a mixed experience here - my lash extensions came out great actually very beautiful and more…read moreon the natural side even though that's not what i requested and not what i was aiming for. I had $50 off from a first time client coupon the owner gives out. It took a long 90 minutes to apply the extensions, which is way long than it should be. There was one moment she pulled on my lashes (i don't know how considering this is an application) and i screamed and flinched. The overall application was extremely rough and i'm a regular of getting my lashes done for about six years now. She was moving very quickly and roughly, i was tense the entire time. That's the first reason i'm taking off a star, the second is because she put her cell directly next to my head on the pillow for the 90 minutes. Her phone was going off the entire time, constantly vibrating! It was so disrespectful i couldn't believe she didn't care! She was even stopping to answer text messages and tap away on the phone while my head is next to it. This experience was not right for me.

I went with my sister and despite being empty, no one greeted us and they couldn't be bothered to even lift their heads to look at us. Store is dirty with tons of scratches all over the counter tops. The lady who helped us was unbelievably rude. She gave short yes or no answers and cut me off whenever I spoke. I was looking at rings and she simply threw the ring tray on the counter and said "here's your size." As I looked she picked and chewed her nails and looked bored out of her mind. During checkout she couldn't figure out the exchange, so the manager got involved. Whenever I answered her questions she would rudely shout "NO" as if I had no idea what I was talking about and like I was wrong about everything. Once I got my rings, she simply shoved the rings in their boxes into my hands and sent me off on my way, and didn't even offer or ask if I needed a bag.

Unlike many of the other businesses who have profiles on Yelp, it doesn't look like anyone (public…read morerelations or management wise) has taken ownership of this page and I think that's a shame. I read the other reviews for this Pandora location, which are all negative and that is also, a shame. First of all there's a review on here that states the person went in for "a color job." I'm sorry, what? What is that? Perhaps they meant to review a salon and clearly posted their negative review on the WRONG page -Yelp should delete that. It also mentions something about the person's race, to which I feel it is worth replying, in the CORRECT store to be reviewed here which is Pandora Jewelers, there are several bi-lingual employees working there who are equipped to assist the demographic demands of the languages other than English which are most spoken in the area. As for the other negative comments I think we can all agree, you will almost always have that one rude staff member in any given retail store -you know the one that makes everyone constantly wonder how they haven't been fired yet. I have been to this location several times and I am always greeted upon entering, even if it's a quick "Hi how are you?" from a sales associate who doesn't necessarily wait for a reply because they are BUSY assisting someone else but still wanted to acknowledge my presence. I think some consumers need to be consciences of the fact that they are not the only ones in the room and some stores just aren't staffed with enough man power to make you feel like you are. That's reality, and that's life. Someone else posted about the staff not being able to accept a return of a Pandora product purchased outside of the store and that they should have taken the merchandise back because "Pandora is Pandora," to which I would like to educate everyone to the fact that, that is not correct. Actually, even the Pandora stores themselves are "bunched together" if you will. And something that I purchased at the Pandora store in the Walt Whitman mall in Huntington was not able to be returned at the Pandora in Bay Shore. These are corporate rules and the locations are not related to one another. I'm sure if they wouldn't accept that return, they wouldn't be able to take a Pandora item purchased elsewhere for example another jewelry store. Many retailers have the same policy -Michael Kors, Coach, etc. If you buy these products in Macy's, they must be returned in Macy's not Bloomingdales. I can't even believe that I wrote such a long winded review here, but I work in two industries where customer satisfaction surveys are taken very seriously. Initially I came here just to complement the staff and the store, but when I saw all the negativity -particularly the review posted about another place entirely, I couldn't help it.

Amazing tattoo shop!…read more I came here after following both the shop and their apprentice artist (Nicole) on Instagram. The shop looks tiny from the outside but inside it is cozy and welcoming. Their online booking system is great and allowed me to communicate with Nicole regarding my tattoo. When the time came to head over to the shop, I received a text with the waiver and a place to upload an image of my license. Much better than handling all that paperwork in the shop! Nicole was great and personable and made sure I was more than happy with the stencil placement prior to actually tattooing me. There were only two others in the shop so it was a rather quiet experience except for Nicole and I chatting (which I appreciated). The aftercare balm they suggest is only $5 which is a nice touch! They also give you an aftercare bag full of goodies, including a lollipop.
