Stopped in to see if I was able to find the Hermes Evelyne bag. Sadly, I arrived after Christmas and the item I wanted was sold for the holidays. I wasn't able to get anything that was really shouting at me but it is a really nice place to wander in and look for a gem. The bags are all vetted and all are in great condition. I went into Designer Exchange to sell my bags which I never thought of letting go but life happened and I had no choice but to sell. Without knowing my story, Shari and her husband offered very competitive buyout offers and were extremely easy to work with. LI Designer Exchange is my favorite store on the planet, hands down. Walking into this store is like walking into handbag heaven. The selection and condition of the bags and SLGs is incredible - absolutely beautiful! I've bought so many bags from them over the years that I've seriously lost count. Shari and Pete are wonderful, and every time I go there, I end up chatting with them for what seems like an hour. They are so nice and knowledgeable about their merchandise, and most of all, just really sweet, honest people. I never worry about authenticity when I buy a bag there. First of all I think I've spoken to pretty much all of the very sweet employees there, but the majority of my communications have been with the always lovely Shari! This is not your every day run of the mill designer handbag re-sale shop, or anything even in the same "ball park"! They have an extensive array of current as well as vintage handbags! It's easy to see that this business places all of their attention on carrying only the best and well cared for merchandise and offering the utmost in knowledgeable, attentive, and gracious customer service! No question is too silly or unimportant (I know this now :)) The collections of both Chanel and Gucci are mind-boggling, and they clearly have all of the latest styles including a very large and up to date and stunning Louis Vuitton collection! The prices are beyond fair, and reasonable! If you didn't know better you would think you were purchasing a brand new never used handbag (and in some cases they actually do carry some of those as well!) this store is very bad!!!!!!!!! i went there based on their good reviews (which are clearly false) and as soon as i walked in, the rude ladies started staring at me!! i would never step foot in this store again. the two middle aged ladies behind the counter are disgusting. i was standing at the counter for 15 minutes and finally one of the ladies with the blonde hair said "you want something" in a very rude manor, and i said yes, i have a question about something i want to sell to you and she ignored me, she pretended like i was not even there. the people there are so rude!! this store is so expensive. i walked in thinking i was going to save a good amount of money, however the price of the item i was looking at was only $100 less than in stores, everything is so expensive!! then as i was walking out i heard one of the rude ladies (the one with big blonde hair) whispering something about me to the other lady (with brown hair) and i heard them laughing. if i could give this place 0 stars i would. they made me feel so embarrassed and uncomfortable. never go to this store. i recommend you spend your money somewhere else!!! very rude people!!! bad environment!! stay away!! i regret wasting my time here today. read more
