She neither told us nor asked for a preference; she simply left a variety on the table for us to coin-flip over. After the drinks arrived, she disappeared for at least 10-15 minutes before returning to take our food order. By then, it was around 7:45 p.m. She informed us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and that our appetizers and entrées would all have to come out together. The abrasiveness and utter lack of customer service were truly the most memorable parts of the evening. And for all that aggression, the food was barely worth it. Were some menu options decent? Yes. Was anything wonderful enough to make us overlook the poor service? Not even close. The fresh catch was nice, the sides were fine, and we all agreed the Gouda mac and cheese was yummy. Otherwise, nothing really stood out. In a very rare move for me, I actually asked to speak with a manager. They did remove the cost of an appetizer and a drink, but the bill was still upwards of $100, and by that point, it really felt like a rip-off. The view alone isn't enough to bring me back.
