This food was so good!!! I'm just mad I'm just now trying it. The staff was great and treated me and my family well. We stayed at the resort so it was easy to walk down and be seated. We received fast, friendly, and punctual service. It was honestly the perfect evening. We sat outside and watched the sunset. I will definitely be back soon because I keep thinking about that magnificent steak and potatoes I had. We were very satisfied and have no complaints. The crab dip was amazing as well. Everything was just good. Lol.

Steak potatoes veggies about 6 total portions of this size on family meal.

COVID review - best kept secret for family meal take out. 35 for 2. 60 for 4. Been here a few times and family agrees it's the best family meal for the price. Only negatives are you must call in. Only one choice a day. Some sauces are very similar (yet good). Potions good. Veggies very yummy. I return every week. Hard to get a pix when everyone digs in.

Food: 3.5 stars Service: 3 stars 1. Location/reservation They're located in the club house of the Landsowne resort, so they have a monopoly power here. There's only one more restaurant in the vicinity. They're giant, so no need for reservation. 2. Service - slow Like I said above they don't have much of a competition and customers don't really have other options, so competing with the stellar service is not their thing. Not saying it's bad, just slow and not the best. But pleasant. 3. Food - decent They're good, just won't knock you off your socks or anything. Burger is pleasant, Fries could've been better considering the price. Sea bass was good, risotto it comes with was very good. Calamari- not the best. Old fashioned: not good, they make it like in cheap bar. 4. Ambience - business like They have this giant tables and chairs and feel more like Diogenes club from olden days including the color scheme. It's a great place to hold corporate events with hundreds and thousands of people. Outside is a nice balcony with great view to enjoy after dinner. Awesome to go for a walk for digestion after since the grounds are really well kept.

Apple "crostata" with ice cream 4/5

I was really hesitant about trying this place because most of the reviews recently have been beyond awful but due to time limit and wanting to enjoy the weather outside we decided to stick with our original plan and give it a shot. Man am I glad we did! The restaurant has inside and outside dining. Dining outside overlooked the golf course surrounded by bushes of bulbed flowers. Service was pretty quick. We tried the calamari and the batter itself was seasoned which made it even more appetizing. I also had the burger and it was cooked to my liking and very moist. The fries that come with it is sooooo crispy and so good! I was a little disappointed in the apple crostada. Flavor wise it was on point but dish wise I don't think it represented a crostata. There was absolutely no open pie format about it. I was looking for some good ole crust! I enjoyed my time here and I hope folks will give this place a chance.

I did an overnight trip at Lansdowne Resort for a friend's birthday and we hit up the restaurant on the property, Piedmont's. We weren't aware that you had to go outside to get to the restaurant so we sprinted in our cute dresses down the pathway to the restaurant haha! The service was super slow to start. We had to get up to ask someone who our server was. I think they were switching shifts or people were packing up to go home. Our reservation was at 9pm. Once everything got settled our server was pretty cool. We had a lot of questions about the menu and he was very patient with us. We got the calamari appetizer and it was pretty good. Nothing exceptional. I got the salmon and subbed mashed potatoes for the corn avocado potato salad. It was delicious! The potato salad was more like a veggie medley so we got a side of it and it was also really good. Everyone else seemed to like their salmon, steak and shrimp/scallop pasta meals. I would recommend this restaurant if you are not looking to leave the resort. It's a really good option!

They weren't busy just after noon when we got there, so we were quickly seated. The menu is large, with so many options it was hard to choose. I asked the server what he recommended and pretty much went with that. He said the clam chowder and the fish & chips were popular - so that's what I ordered. The clam chowder was pretty good! Not the best I've had - that would be Abe & Louie's or Bank's, both in Boston. But it was very nice and it most definitely scratched the it for traditional Boston clam chowder! Next up was the fish & chips... this was a huge entrée! There were many pieces of fish and each was perfectly battered on the outside and tasty, fresh, delicate cod on the inside... really nice! The tartar sauce was also something slightly elevated from the typical and worked well with the fish. The "chips" were slightly thinner than regular, traditional French fries - too small for my liking, but decently flavored. And I really liked the cole slaw too. Overall - Very nice visit... I look forward to returning!

Her experience shows through her knowledge as she walked us through the various wines & answered our questions. I felt like she really listened and catered the whole experience towards our preferences! The wine tasting bar area is standing only with no stools so that was the only downside in my opinion. We ended up signing up for their Wine Club (2 bottles/ month option), as the price of the wine tasting almost equated to that price. We decided it was a good deal, as our wine tasting ended up being free and we received 2 bottles and 2 wine glasses. My boyfriend has been here for their food and shared it was good. Nice, roomy restaurant which never came close to filling up on a Saturday lunch. Booze was tasty but lotsa ice. Kids meals were likely the best deal. Seemed like they were really short staffed which made table service rather slow. Hostesses weren't very welcoming nor that helpful. Kinda just stood around chatting until they were required to act when customers walked up to them to get help. Kitchen staff was hopping! But. The food. Um. Not yum. But not entirely horrible either. Seemed like a lot of stuff was from the night before. Warmed over yet not hot nor warm by the time it got to the table. Stuff under the heat lamp too long got over cooked while the stuff underneath the overcooked stuff was lukewarm to cold. Would think one couldn't mess up donuts, but these were fried in old oil (probably from the night before since we arrived at opening). Blobs of bland dough that were really dark on the outside but gooey, mushy, and not thoroughly cooked on the inside. That bitter taste from old oil really ruined any hope of enjoying what sounded delish on the menu. The donuts were rather disgusting. In general, the food just didn't taste really fresh or mouthwatering. Salty, maybe. From the bread to the entrees, most everything fell flat. An expensive flat. Worth the drive? Overall, while we had good service minus the hostesses, the food & value just doesn't warrant giving it another shot, which is disappointing. It's a place you'd want to really like, but it's missing something significant that makes you want to return to give it one more try. Just wish the food had been a lot better.

If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. There are plenty of solid lunch options in the area, and in hindsight, I probably should've explored one of them instead.
