Fantastic customer service. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with the friendliest person at the register. He went over the different pizzas with me and was running the store on his own today. I also noticed and liked all the graffiti canvas art on the wall. I went with the garlic white and vodka margharita. They were warmed up for me. The garlic white was good because I love garlic, but the vodka margharita was the way to go. The sauce in top with the crunchy crust had me sold. Everything is made in house from the dough to the sauce. I love that. This is what separates it from the other pizza chains. This is their second location and the pizza here is great. They just need a little more exposure because of the location. If you're in the area definitely stop in and grab a slice to support them. I know I will have to come back for the grandma pie.

As far as ambiance, I would call this a restaurant in the rough. Or perhaps a no frills restaurant. Basic formica table and chair booths. The pizza slices we got were very good. I really liked the crunchy crust on the sicilian square I got. The basil was very fresh and gave the pizza a nice aroma. IMO one piece of the sicilian pizza would be considered snack size. There were about 8 or 9 different pizza slices made up that we could have chosen on the spot to have heated up and eaten there. I did not see any soda to purchase. There were several cans and bottles but the only beverage I recognized was bottled water. I encouage the owners to provide some type of soda pop or lemonade. I look forward to watching this business grow as those of us in the neighborhood support them.

Having stopped in for a slice one day wearing my company shirt, Jake behind the counter took my info & brought my company pizzas to sample & get their name out there! Great people, great food, great location!! Go support them!!!

I'm writing this review a couple of days later and wow, I'm still thinking about that crust. It's delicious, crispy, and soft on the inside. It's a bonus that there is hot honey on the counter to dip your crust in. We had a couple of slices and had to order one more because it was delicious! We had the cheese Sicilian pizza, two cheese slices with added mushrooms, and two slices of white garlic pizza. Yum! You order on the counter and they heat it up in their ovens for a couple of minutes. After eating the garlic white pie, my partner was happily surprised how fresh ricotta tasted like. I told him that's the real stuff, authentic ingredients that just make you pause. My one strong suggestion is to please add fountain soda which I didn't see. The restaurant is in a strip mall and since they don't have clear signage, it might be easy to miss.

This is located in between Great Clips and Jimmy John's. Google Maps can be confusing with the directions. I've gone to the Pie Life location in Glen Ellyn but I wanted to check out this location. This location actually has more seating. Getting in/out of the area is easier. Right now, they have the buy any 16" or Sicilian and get one 16" in cheese or margherita for free. I got the Sicilian with vodka cream and margherita. It came out to $33. I believe it runs for the rest of August. There are no bad pizzas here but I highly recommend any of the Sicilian styles. Grandma was equally as good as vodka cream. They all have that perfect crunch each time you take a bite. I recommend getting the single slices to try a variety. Staff was really personable and attentive. Prices are very fair for the quality.

Best New... Jersey? style pizza this side of Manhattan. Because no, I haven't gone to Hoboken to get a slice. I took a full pizza (half pepperoni) to go, as well as a slice of garlic and ricotta. They threw in an extra garlic slice for me, which I appreciated. The hallmark of this style of pizza is a dough that droops. Like, you have to curl the slice up in order to eat it, because it's so floppy. But the bottom can't be soggy either. It's a tight balance, tough to get right, and they nail it. The bottom has just a hint of chew and char that tells you, yeah, these guys know what they're doing. The other half is excellent flavor, and they delivered here too. Fresh tomato flavor, great cheese blend. And the garlic was sharp enough on the white slices that the ricotta went really well with it. If you want to eat in, all the better: grab a booth. But no matter how you take it, Pie Life serves great slices.

One of my favorite treats for myself each week is to stop in and visit Jake at Pie Life. They take pride in their pies and use quality ingredients. The slices are always perfect. They are also constantly improving the vibe in the restaurant with new decor and great music. These guys are the real deal. They care about their customers and their community. Really happy to have this spot so close to home. Don't hesitate to stop in for a slice or order a whole pie. You won't be disappointed!

I am originally from CA and have a spot I grew up in that I have loved since a young boy that is family owned for over 60 years. However, Legends takes the PIE for the absolute BEST pizza I have ever had! And the JOHN'S BEEF & GRAVY PIZZA is like Nothing I have ever eaten! If you don't try this place you are missing out! It was so darn good, we had them make 2 more to bring back home and I've been eating it every day since I got home! I had to dive in Sunday night as soon as we landed! This place is a real gem and love the family owned service and atmosphere! Chicago has some of my favorite spots to eat and now Legends will be a regular stop every time I fly in from Texas! Now let's bring Legends to Dallas and show these folks how Chicago gets it right!!!

We wanted pizza to go along with our Spider-Man movie night and were left disappointed, unfortunately. We ordered their version of a Supreme pizza and a gluten free pizza with vodka sauce, ground beef, mushrooms and giardiniera. The gluten free pizza was actually pretty good, nothing amazing but good for gluten free. However, my husband said the regular crust Supreme pizza was not it. Flavorless crust, mediocre sausage and, overall, less than average. We also didn't care for the ranch; you can tell its homemade but in this case that wasn't a good thing. We also had the house salad with their Italian dressing; both were way below average. The salad was forgettable and the dressing was almost entirely oil. One positive was the delivery guy! He was super friendly and polite and even told us, "enjoy your pizza"! He was great, I just wish the pizza was even half as great as he was.

I think you probably get a better value with a large deep dish, however, we wanted to try something new and thought it would be better to go small first. The small veggie? Rather boring to be honest. Nothing wrong with it, just not something we would order again as we crave more flavor. The small limited time Mike's Hot Honey pizza? DELICIOUS! If we had any inkling of how good that pizza would be we would have gotten a large right out of the gate. It really impressed us. And one of the things we love most about Lou Malnati's is their crust. It's not that cardboard looking crud some pizza places give you. We eat every bite of the crust because it's absolutely amazing. Will definitely be ordering again soon before that Mike's Hot Honey is gone.

For our family, Lou Malnati's has become part of a tradition. Every time we return home from a long…read moreroad trip, we celebrate by ordering a pizza. This year, after six weeks on the road and 14 national parks, our welcome-home meal was exactly what it always is: an extra-crispy thin-crust pizza with cheese and vegetables. And honestly, it hit the spot. There is something comforting about coming home, unpacking the car, and sitting down with a familiar pizza after weeks of restaurant meals, road snacks, and vacation food. The thin crust was crispy, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. Over the years, however, I do feel that Lou Malnati's quality has slipped somewhat, particularly when it comes to the deep-dish pizza that made them famous. We rarely order the deep dish anymore because it simply is not what it used to be. The thin crust, on the other hand, continues to be the better choice for us. Ordered extra crispy, it delivers a satisfying crunch and remains a solid Chicago-style thin pizza. Is it the best pizza in Chicago? Probably not. Is it part of our family's road-trip tradition and a comforting welcome-home meal after weeks away? Absolutely. Sometimes a pizza is more than a pizza. Sometimes it is the final mile marker of a great adventure and the first taste of being home again.

We always come in on Tuesday's as a family when they have half off Chicago tavern style pizzas. As soon as you're seated, they served you a basket of warm Italian bread with butter. Which, is a great way to start off the meal. I like to order the Margarita Pizza- extra thin and extra crispy. Along with the Hawaiian with game and pineapple extra thin extra crispy. Sometimes, I'll mix it up and order the chicken club without ranch or onions. Which, is delicious but, very rich! Margarita Pizza-This pizza is airy, crispy, and rich! The combo of the fresh basil, house made sauce, fresh tomatoes, house cheese blend, and the thin crispy crust topped with oozy cheese is excellent! Hawaiian with ham and Pineapple- This pizza will melt in your mouth! It's the perfect balance of savory and sweet! It's crispy and crunchy with incredibly delicious rich in house made red sauce. And there's some outdoor seating, when the weather is good. Definitely a local spot that you can just chill and relax at. I've now been here several times and so far everything has been perfect. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating, cordial, and engaging. They seem to go out of their way to accommodate you. And it doesn't feel forced like they have to do it, but just out of good common courtesy. Their thin, cracker crust pizza is something we get every time. Even if it's for just an appetizer, we will get a small and split it up for the table. Really outstanding flavor, great sauce, the "undercarriage" always crispy, and great flavorful cheese. We have gone up and down the menu from appetizers to the main dishes and I've been happy every single dish. As an appetizer, I highly recommend the calamari. With a light batter it's serve with marinara sauce and lemon. We've never seen them overdone or rubbery, which all to common. Ask for a little bottle of Tabasco if you want to add a little heat or kick. The main dishes. Spectacular chicken Vesuvio, chicken Parmesan, chicken Marsala, etc... All Solid! The Italian beef and beef/combo w/ sausage are delicious and quite frankly monstrous. Wow, do you get a lot for your portion here. I would definitely recommend one for that beefy hitter. For me, it's a the beef combo, dipped, with Giardinara, and a side of Au jus. And maybe broil a little provolone on top, if I'm feeling fancy. And honestly, the cakes and desserts are astonishing. The chocolate cake is so delicious and decadent and rich. OMG, I could just go in for a nice coffee and a chocolate cake and I'd be happy. In all, five stars for this place. I will be back on the regular. (honestly, I need to take more pictures. But the food is so good. I start eating it before I can remember to snap a shot)
