First time here. Attempted coming before but the place was so packed we couldn't get a seat. Today was our lucky day and had breakfast on their lovely porch. Had the blueberry and lemon scone. It was still warm and fresh. 10 out of 10!The breakfast burrito was delicious, not to mention ginormous! And the breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection. Will I come back? Absolutely! I am glad we tried this place as every time I passed, the food looked delicious. Unfortunately, service made the experience less than 3 stars. We waited at least 20 minutes to get water which is unacceptable. It was served in plastic cups and did not have ice so it should have been out much quicker. We also waited over an hour for our food. Nothing we ordered would have taken more than 10 minutes to cook. We were ready to leave, but the waitress finally brought out our food, over an hour later. She said they were short in the kitchen but based on other reviews it looks as though they are always short in the kitchen. I'm curious to know the typical wait time for food. If you have other plans for the day, I would not go here for brunch as our day ended up being catered around waiting. What is unfortunate is the food was good and the baked goods were as well. I'd love to come back, but waiting over an hour for a simple breakfast meal is absurd, especially given that it is not a big place. I appreciate the waitress offering a complimentary pastry but I hope they get more quality help in the kitchen to keep customers satisfied and wanting to come back. read more

Visited this adorable, cozy cafe today for brunch with my family. My parents are already regulars here and have been talking it up a ton, so I was super excited to visit. We started off with 3 scones shared between the 5 of us: lemon blueberry, butterscotch, and cherry almond. The scones were absolutely delicious, the perfect level of sweetness and texture, and they were pretty large, perfect for sharing. We then ordered some coffees (the lattes were great), the beast breakfast burrito, autumn salad, and the Monte Cristo. All were delicious with large portions (the home fries with the burrito were some of the best I've had). Although we didn't order it, the soup of the week was French Onion and looked so incredible that there's a good chance I'll be back soon just for that. This was my second visit to this cafe and it lived up to the same great experience as my first visit. I met a coworker up for a late breakfast (around 10am) and we were seated quickly because it seemed like we were in between the breakfast and lunch rush. I ordered the lox sandwich which seemed like a great menu item. It looked even better in person, with very fresh ingredients. But next time, I will ask to keep the eggs and salmon separate. Having hot eggs on top of cold smoked salmon took awake from the normal joys of eating lox on bagel. The parking can be difficult too because it's only street parking. One of the best breakfast spots and bakeries in South Jersey. They have a super friendly staff that greet you with a smile as soon as you step foot in the door but the aroma of pure baked bliss will hit your nostrils first. Every single one of their baked goods feels like they were delivered from the scrumptious baking gods themselves. The pecan pie is so elite that it'll make you wanna slap your mama (Sorry mom but you understood after you had a slice). One of my favorite things on the menu is the "Red Eye" breakfast sandwich, its my idea of a well balanced breakfast tbh. Do yourself a favor...order that and while you wait enjoy one of their many fresh baked scones or muffins and a latte and thank me later. Seriously this has become my go to weekend breakfast spot and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Love this quiant little bakery/coffeeshop in beautiful Moorestown! Drove in from a neighboring town to get my coffee fix and was so happy to see all their specialty latte choices. I got a hot honey lavender latte with oat milk, and it was amazing, just the right sweetness, strength, and creaminess. I also ended up picking up a slice of apple pie, and it was at least 50% larger than what I expected a slice to be! Prices very reasonable. They have an indoor seating area that is currently closed off due to COVID but there is an outdoor seating area on the patio. read more

We went to the take out part and was a great find! Workers very friendly and there is a large variety of pastries. Almond milk latte and pumpkin almond milk lattes were great and the banana muffin ( from day old section)/ blueberry lemon scone and cherry almond scones all were great as well. Lots of things were sold out, which is totally understandable. It was our first time there and the young lady behind the counter was incredibly helpful and very sweet. Coffee was good and chocolate chip cookie was huge and delicious. We got breakfast and my salmon Benedict was just meh, if that. I've had way better. The eggs were overcooked and rubbery. It just didn't taste good and I didn't care for the home fries which tasted a little burnt and peppery. My daughter had the chicken sandwich. She said that was good. 8/10. OMG ! Not sure where to start ! I get excited when I find a legit brunch spot. I was in between a bagel spot and this one. When I seen the pictures from other Yelpers I was sold on this spot. Perfectly located in Moorestown right on Main st. As I drove by looking for parking I could see a line, that's a good sign. I was able to find parking right in front of it. So that was a plus. They have a great system. The folks ordering to go, go to the window and the folks eating in/outside. Just grab a sit and wait for a waitress. They were actually on top of it. Immediately after I set down, a server brought me water and another one brought the menu. I asked for recommendations and she basically told me the whole menu was good and asked what I was in the mood for. I said pie. She proceeded to break down all the pies they had, and also scones and muffins. She was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. I was in between an apple pie and a pecan pie. The pecan pie won! I pared it with Hot Cocoa! For some reason I like to order those or mochas when I'm out. Soon enough the food and hot beverage came out. And looked so good. An oversized slice of pecan pie and a giant hot cocoa. The pice tasted so good and fresh. Just what I was looking for. I'd take small scoops of whip and add it to a small piece of pie. Best pie in Moorestown. Now since I was in between the pecan pie and the apple pie... I must return for the Apple Pie. So just like the Terminator says: I'll be back !!! read more

I love scones and am always on the lookout for the best in terms of flavor and texture. This cafe checks both boxes. Flavor is there, not overwhelming. Texture is dense but not tough - best of the best. I swear it weighs half a pound haha (didn't actually weigh it). Also was still slightly warm! I did go on a weekend, so it was very busy. Prepare for a wait. All the staff was very pleasant, though. Funny enough, I've never tried the pies. I'm just so in love with the scones that that's why I visit. The service was incredibly slow, the food took forever to come out, and it was cold. The waiter was nice, but again, cold food. I didn't have time to send it back and have them remake it. I don't love breakfast food, but I love this place. I've been here multiple times for breakfast and one time for lunch. The food here is awesome and consistent. I hate when I go somewhere and the food is amazing, then the next time I visit, it's not as good or terrible. The inside is on the smaller side, but it's so cute, charming, and cozy. The service is typically good, but the place can get packed and quickly! Sometimes, you'll have to flag your waitress or waiter down, but once you get their attention, they are very attentive. One thing I will recommend is to get there early bc they have a crowd the second they open. This is a well known gem by many of the locals. I try to get there by 8am if I want to eat there. If you get there by 830-9am, it's packed but it's worth the wait! read more

Despite the fact my first visit to Pie Lady Cafe was during the COVID pandemic and the wait times were slightly longer than desired, it was well worth the wait. The obviously busy staff was still friendly despite the barrage of phone calls they were receiving. We timed our small order perfectly, as the banana crumb muffin I got had just come out of the oven. The muffin, while not a "jumbo size", was a perfect single serving size and just hit the spot. The banana flavor was subtle yet present, and the crumb topping added a lovely crunch. The highlight, however was the Cranberry Orange scone that my girlfriend got. It was, by far, the most tender & moist scone I've ever had. Can't be sure if it was a full butter, full cream, or blend type of scone but it was cooked to absolute perfection, which only highlighted the wonderful citrus notes provided by the orange. We will certainly be back to try some more of their treats. Can not recommend them enough! read more

This little pie shop in Moorsetown, NJ is a super!! We've tried several times and each time take out some in addition to eat their pies, scones and donuts. Filled with fruits but not too sweet and great prices for each. Favorits are Apple Crumb and Pineapple Coconuts and my wife's are Blueberry pies. Scones are the best in the United States!! Just walked in and had great service. The Red Eye was an amazing sandwich that needed nothing and was perfect. The hostess told my sister, myself, & my 2 month old niece (in a carrier car seat) she couldnt seat us at the table outside because there were 2 of us. we had to put the baby on the floor. Just spectacular in every way. It reminds of the type of dreamy place that you would see in a rom com, small town America. It started as a little bakery that make pies and scones and expanded into the most amazing little brunch spot. Some people complain the service can be slow - the restaurant even have a sign on the door that they are short staffed, as are most people. The food is always always worth the wait. I've been coming here for the pies and scones for years and now we love weekend breakfast here. The food is made with love, no other way to describe it. It's always delicious. The coffee is always great. I think the service is also wonderful - the owner and her sister are always there with a smile on their faces. There's truly no other place like it. Since both large slices and whole pies are available for purchase, I decided to sample three of my favorites - Pecan Pie, Apple Crumb Pie, and Cherry Almond Crumb. Each one was delicious and exhibited all the hallmarks of an ideal pie - buttery flakey crust, locally fresh fruit or nuts, and decadent filling with just the right consistency and sweetness. One of my favorite places for breakfast. The food is so good! My favorite is The Beast. It's not only a nice size breakfast burrito it comes with delicious potatoes and this amazing black bean purée that takes the dish to another level. And I don't even eat beans! If they sold this purée in jars I would buy it and spread it on all my sandwiches. It's so good!! The 3 berry french toast is delish and so I usually make my husband order the french toast and I order the Beast and in my humble opinion makes the best breakfast combo- sweet and savory. Ok so then there's the amazing customer service. The nicest people ever. This spot is tiny and cozy and always full of people. Why? Because it's good food, good service and let's not even start on the pastries next door. We always leave with a few scones to take home.
