Uncooked pie Dave sent us home with

Pie Five was a staple in our house that we frequented about every other week until we moved out of state. My son would go there more often, then we did as a family, because this was his favorite place to eat. Since we moved, the one thing he requests that we have to bring him back is Pie Five. This last time we ran into Dave, an owner, and he sent us home with uncooked pies for us to try that way. It worked splendidly. Just as crispy and delicious for our boy to enjoy! Talk about going above and beyond for loyal customers! We travel back 'home' at least every six months so we get our son his pies and Dave will help us out. Please support local owners that go above and beyond that also have fabulous food!

I have to say, i used to frequent this location a while back and love the size an taste of the pizzas. What the heck happened? The size is bigger and i know that, but the taste and look of the pies now just ain't what it used to be. The guy makin my pie was really nice and politely informed me that they were out of cheese and it would be awhile before they would have any. So i changed my order and went with feta cheese instead of mozzarella, which was a good idea cause it was better, i think. But goin back to this location again, well probably not.

    Pizza with disappointment

Will never order here again. Had a pickup order and the lack of quality and care was so disappointing. Pizza had the smallest portions of toppings and the salad greens were brown and wilted. For this price, the quality is severely lacking.

Not impressed being a first time visitor. Everything was fine until I politely went to inform the male working there on the line that their sweet tea was unsweetened. Don't let me fail to mention I poured my cup out & sampled BOTH tea urns. Instead of just fixing the issue he decided to argue with me that he had added " 2 pounds himself " to the tea and his best suggestion was to use sugar packs. At that point you can just let people complain to you all day I tried ‍ Can't say I would return here for the lack of customer service I experienced. Your job is really not that hard especially changing a damn tea urn.

    Who doesn't love pizza!

But it's kinda fun to go in person and direct/watch your pie being put together, then disappear into the oven and come out hot and crispy!

Ethan was our server and we had lots of questions and he answered a lot of questions we had about the sauces and he answered them well. I had the tony's steak meatball with the Parmesan cream sauce and gnocchi and it was to DIE for. I also would like to try basil pesto or vodka sauce but the cream sauce was so insanely good with the pillowy gnocchi that I just don't think I could bear to not get it every time. I definitely would try the sausage meatballs, which my husband got and they were good. The steak meatballs were good but I really like steak-- I think it needs to be your thing. Overall, this has become my new need to go place in north Fort Worth when we are here. I'm going to be dreaming about this place.

After all the hype on social media I was dying to try this place. My son and daughter in law went…read moreand loved it so we all went together for lunch. First thing we were told was that the Nonna's garlic bread was not available. Disappointing but we moved on. Ordered 2 of the Pentolino (Little Pot) meatball samplers. One with marinara one with bolognese. They weren't dry but they were all just okay. Mid at best. I also did not care for the bolognese. The Cibatta bread that came was also too charred for us. It had a strong charcoal taste that we didn't care for. They also no longer serve sliced steak. You can only get the meatballs. 4 of us ordered the Tony's steak meatball, truffle mushroom sauce with Gnocchi. We ordered it because that's what my son was raving about. I don't know what happened between visits but he took his bite first, made a face and apologized to us. Then I took a bite. First of all, the truffle flavor was waaaaay too much and tasted artificial (like commercially prepared truffle oil). But the biggest disappointment was the Gnocchi. I would bet a kidney that there was absolutely zero potato in that dense chewy "dumpling " whatsoever. It was hands down the worst Gnocchi I have ever eaten. It tasted and looked like folded over pappardelle with the consistency of super dense pasta. It was so bad my daughter in law asked for something different and I just didn't eat mine. Eventually she got the chicken parm meatball with spaghetti. We all tried a bite. Again, it was okay but I've tasted better at chain restaurants. And I'm Italian so that's saying something. I don't know if we got them on an off day or what but after spending over $200 for 4 people for lunch, none of us will be returning.

The waffle was very good for a gluten free option, which was an upcharge of course Biscuit was very good too. Buttery The coffee was decent, but $4 for brewed coffee is a bit excessive. My friend got a vanilla latte, that she said was very sweet. Didn't even look to see the price for it, but I imagine it was close to $10 Service was great. We had a new girl, who did very good. Made sure our drinks were always filled up, & was very sweet The ambiance is chill, it was a bit loud for a breakfast spot though. I've been to 4 locations, & each one is different as far as its atmosphere. You will spend close to $50-60,'with a tip, just for 2 people, so it's a spot for an occasional visit. Good luck finding a parking spot BTW, especially if it's on the weekend. Downtown Keller is cool, but the parking is abysmal It only gets 4 stars because of the prices here at Seven Mile. It's a great spot for breakfast, brunch & lunch, but it's always been a pricier spot, that hipsters love to congregate
