I had romaine lettuce, harissa, roasted red pepper hummus, wild rice, pita chip crisps, corn with a side of garlic sauce. I had complimentary pita bread as well. My bowl was delicious and filled me up. Cava has a covered patio which we appreciated. The service was quick and friendly. They also offer desserts like brownies and cookies. I've given CAVA multiple chances to get my order right and make it so it's not dry enough to choke on but they just can't do it! The last time and final time I was there, there weren't any vegetables on my greek vegetable bowl and when I told the manager on duty she started looking into my bowl like she was performing an investigation then, she pointed to these tiny withered little pieces of vegetables and told me, "they're right there...." I asked, "Where?!@ and then, she doubled down and pointed at them AGAIN. When I asked her for more she said she would give me a side like she was doing me a favor. For $13 plus tax, you can spare some some mediocre grilled squash. In this economy people want their bowls FULL when they order lunch for $13-$16. It's just common sense. I've visited several CAVA locations, and while I've had stale pita chips elsewhere, the Alliance location has consistently delivered fresh, crispy pita chips every time. Lately, I've been loving their kids' pita. It's the perfect portion for lunch! You get to choose a base, protein, dip, two toppings, a sauce for the pita, and either carrots or pita chips, along with a kids' drink. I was so excited to find a Cava opened up near us. I always love their Harissa Avocado bowl and it's definitely my go-to meal here. This location definitely hit the high notes and provided generous portions. There's some indoor seating, but on a nice day I really enjoy sitting on their patio. It can be a little loud since you're close to a big street and HEB, but it's covered, so it can be really pleasant even in the summer. They also have a good selection of house made drinks and juices, including a pineapple mint limeade that I really enjoyed the last time. There's also plenty of parking, which is an underrated plus! The only complaint I have is the service is a little inconsistent. We've been a few times and have been met with rude/curt staff probably half the time. It doesn't necessarily deter me, but it can definitely make for an awkward interaction. read more

I was trying to talk to the lady who's helping me and she pointed out that I should not put my should put my hands on the other side because I was pointing at the things that I want and that really make me feel uncomfortable. Worst customer service I've ever had in the Alliance area. The lady that took my order made it real clear I was imposing on her chat-time with another employee. Her attitude sucked and I really hope she wasn't the manager. Food was warm, not hot. Falafel was gooey and asking for tzatziki sauce made the employee get frustrated. I'm not going to lie, this location started off pretty iffy. The qualify of the chicken varied from day to day (also everything seemed to be dark meat instead of white) and when it comes to the expected meal ready time, they were generally late. Very late. These issues have appeared to be resolved though as the last several times we've been we haven't had any issues like this and the quality seems to have significantly improved. CAVA has a ton of protein and vegetable options to choose from as well as multiple hummus and sauce options. There really is something for everyone. I personally love the spicy lamb meatballs, but honestly everything I've had there has been pretty good. Food good, customer service mediocre, overcharged for their special meats even if it's only 1/2 order. Also depending on who is scooping you might get less or more. Food is always on point at CAVA, i love all of their selections, never can go wrong with the food itself but I can never find a good cava with good customer service, they are on the same level as chipotle. Don't let the image fool you... it looks good but it did NOT taste good. I've visited this location quite a few times but the last month or so, the service and quality has significantly declined. The workers seem irritated and are aggressively scooping and tossing items into your bowl - I get it, they are probably understaffed and tired but it's a customer service role... it's now the customers fault. The chicken tastes like someone forgot to cut the fat off it and was way too chewy. This location just needs more employees and likely some retraining. I ended up tossing my bowl after a few bites because it just wasn't what it used to be - I'll add that I NEVER change my order so this says something. read more

We arrived right at noon and there was only one other person there. The amount of take out orders going out the door was insane though. We both choose the bowl option with greens. I had the tzatziki, Harissa, and crazy feta for my dip options, they were amazing! I chose all the toppings and got a side of the lemon tahini dressing, my protein was the falafel. Everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the blueberry lavender drink, and their unsweetened iced tea. It's a small little place but it was super clean and the staff were super friendly. Within 15 minutes of our arrival every table was filled, and there was a line to the door. I would definitely recommend checking them out and will be back again soon! read more

I love Cava, but not this one. The last couple of times, I've noticed they leave the entire stem on the brussel sprouts. Ouch! Today was the kicker of why we won't go back. The manager who called himself John when I asked his name was very rude, passive aggressive, and condescending, to the point where it be thought he has a racial bias to people of color. I asked for my order to be put in a new bag since they put my order in the bag with someone else's food. Harper/John was changing the bag as he did, he said it was a waste of bag in a passive aggressive manner as he threw the bag away. He did not want to give me another bag, but the person who was not there, he was happy to give another to because he put that person's order quickly into another bag. When putting my order in another bag, he left out the pita and the sauce. He threw the pita into my bag. He tried to argue with me about the sauce. It was sitting by the other bag. I saw that he left it out. I had to tell him three times the sauce was by the other bag. He asked to look in my bag, and he asked what kind of sauce even though I told him it was over by the other bag. I asked for the manager that was over him. He did not want to give me the information, but gave me a name of Brittany Szikizi, which does not sound like a really name. I Googled it, and no one comes up. I also asked for a corporate number or contact. He told me to Google it. He lacks in customer skills and tact. He told that he felt uncomfortable, so I guess he was going to call the police on me for asking for his manager and the corporate information. CAVA is one of my favorite quick lunch spots. At prime lunch time (from noon to 1), the line gets long, but moves quickly. If I'm really in a pinch, I'll order online for a pickup order (but always make sure you check your bag - last few times I was missing a few things) They have plenty of options to choose from (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, etc), so anyone is bound to find something they love. I always build my own bowl with the SuperGreens and basmati rice, I do half and half chicken and roasted vegetables, and ALL the toppings. My friend ordered the sweet and spicy and loved his pita! I normally only get water at restaurants just due to drinks having too much sugar, but I always get a drink here. The lemonade is delicious! The restaurant is always clean, bright, and plenty of patio seating or indoor seating. Staff was friendly; Alexie (I assume the manager) walked around to ensure service and food quality was up to standard. Will be back! read more
