The food is delicious! The service is pretty bad though. They give you the TINIESTTTTT portions and if you ask for more or extra they act like it's cutting into their paycheck. Definitely felt rushed through the line although there was nobody behind us. The girl putting sides into our bowl seriously gave us time to choose one side before she basically decided that was enough and we had to tell her we wanted other sides on it. I was excited for an option with Mediterranean. I had never been to any Cava before but online buzz seemed excited. I'm not sure exactly when this location opened but I know it is still pretty new. It's fast casual. There are booths in the middle (tables outside as well but it's 100 degrees today so no one is out there) and the line wraps around the perimeter of the store. The setup is one where you go through the line and build your order as you go (kind of like Freebirds or Subway). They have some "prebuilt" options on the menu. You can pick a pita (sandwich) or bowl. I was surprised I didn't hear a single person ask "is this your first time here" or explanations/suggestions. It's pretty common for a brand new store to try to help customers navigate. I was definitely expecting something along those lines since there aren't other locations in the area. I opted for one of the prebuilt options "market spice bowl" since I honestly was a bit unsure and they didn't seem to be overly helpful. There was one employee who smiled at people but all of the rest seemed unhappy to be there and annoyed by customers. They did not create a friendly or welcoming vibe and definitely bordering on rude. The bowl felt a bit pricey (around $12) but I guess everything is pricy these days. I opted to take the order to go since it had taken awhile to get through the line (although it really wasn't busy). My falafel was burned, I had a HUGE clump of pickled onions and they were very heavy handed on the dressings. I ate about 1/2 and tossed the rest . This may have been ok for some but it was not great for me. Overall, pretty disappointed. If this was an established business, I would give 0-1 stars. I gave 2 as a little grace because they are new. However based on my experience, it's very unlikely I will be back. read more

This is the 4th time to visit this location and I keep hoping it will get better with time. Nope. Every time we come in, we get the least amount of enthusiasm and poor attitudes from the staff. They are currently out of avocados due to poor quality of the avocados. Understandable, so I asked to have them just toss in a little steak to my harrissa bowl to offset the cost of the missing avocado. Nope, that was like asking them to do hard math because they tried explaining to me that avocado costs $2.45 and a scoop of steak was $3.00. All I asked for was to have them toss in a few pieces, not even a full scoop. Now, let's talk cleanliness... we were there on a Monday evening around 7:15pm. Only 3 other customers were there and every table was filthy, the fork container was filthy, the counter where the drinks are at was filthy. Not sure I have ever seen a manager working there but if there is, why is this place still running like that? We will not be coming back to this location and will discourage others from coming if this is how it will continue to be. I don't think asking for kindness and cleanliness is asking too much here. read more

I've been to several cava's around the DFW area and they are always helpful and quick, this cava just opened and I've been twice in the last week. The staff are unhelpful and slow, not to mention rude, they gave smaller portions than any other location I've been to. We ordered 2 sides of pita chips (which are usually in orders of 6 each) and one of our orders had 3 and one had 4, then they turned out very stale, must have been hours old. They even hesitated to give new ones to us... very disappointing to see because there isn't a cava nearby heritage and it's in a great location, but I won't be back to this location. read more

Have been coming to this location since they opened last June or July of 2023. Never thought I would like Mediterranean-based food but I was happily surprised. Falafel never thought I would ever eat that it was fantastic. I started off doing the salad bowl with chicken and any and all number of ingredients added then I started doing the pita holy cow! The staff at Cava are very rude and rush you through the line. They have great options! I ordered the build your own bowl and unlike most similar restaurants they give very tiny portions of the sides you select. Come on Cava, allow people to optimize their options to become familiar with flavors! And try some kindness- a smile or two wouldn't hurt!
