Years later and Salad and Go is still one of my favorite salad places. They have expanded their menu and offer seasonal items like their green enchilada chili. Tristan was patient and kind throughout the process of ordering and picking up at the drive thru window. I ended up ordering the fajita wrap with steak and the cucumber mint lemonade. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The fajita wrap with steak was flavorful, chewy and fresh. The cucumber mint lemonade does have bits of cucumber and mint in the drink, which initially caught me off guard but overall I liked it. I look forward to my next visit. read more

So, so glad they came to our area! And I may never live anywhere in the future where there are no Salad and Go's. It's not like it's impossible to get decent salads here and there, even fast food drive-thrus. But, if you want a really good salad, one you may not even intend to eat right away, an actual proper, satisfying, rounded salad, and you don't need a dine-in but just to-go, there is no second best choice. It's this or nothing. It's now became easier to eat better, on the long term. To have a steady, "not setting for" healthier, fresher choice. And like Taco Tuesday is on rotation, for ease, so can salads, and never get "tiresome" or uninspiring, or boring. This place's arrival changed a lot under our roof. And I don't think I wanna live without it. I didn't know how bad we needed this place until it came! May sound overblown, but we all know how it is, am I right? Anyway, I think I like pretty much all their salads, and with both chicken and tofu (some of the best tofu too btw), and I like to rotate around, but the Greek with chicken might be my favorite. NOTE TO UPPER MANAGEMENT: Do not change a thing! You can't make it any better, so don't try. If things absolutely must go up on prices for reason X, okay, we get it, and if certain ingredients are in short supply for reasons Y, sure we understand. But don't go dabbling into rethinking this or that. LEAVE IT ALONE! Don't change the packaging, don't change the portions, don't jack with the quality, don't flip your menu upside down,... it's as perfect as it will ever be! Placed order online and were given available time to pickup I had the Buffalo wrap with a few extras and Diana had the Winter Harvest Salad with grilled chicken & extras both were 7.03 she had cucumber mint and I had mango tea for drinks 24oz for 1 buck each. We arrived right on time for order 1 side is for online orders only which makes it really convenient. I was prepared to wait but I needed not worry as our order was ready and off we went. Guys the salad was in a big bowl and the wrap was a handful needed 2 actually. The Buffalo wrap a little spicy I enjoy every bite. Diana watched her novela while enjoying hers. She couldn't finish. Pretty disappointed. I always come here but lately the tomatoes have been bad pretty consistently but tomatoes are easy to pick off. However this may be my last trip. My salad was pretty much filled with rotten lettuce. A lot of the lettuce in my salad was black and extremely slimy. They must not do quality checks on the food. My entire salad is rotten I can't believe the employee making it didn't notice. I'm so glad I saw it before I starting eating I would have been really sick after. Their drinks are $1 each and their salads are about $6. I never spend more than $8 here. My go to order is the frozen strawberry lemonade (regular lemonade is good too) and the build your own salad bowl option. I like to build my own so I can get all romaine. For my toppings I add cucumbers, mozzarella, jalapeños and wonton crisps. If I'm feeling fancy I'll add avocado and eggs! They have plenty of dressings to choose from as well. I love this place! It's so fast, fresh and most importantly cheap! I can feed my family for $20 and have leftovers for lunchboxes the next day. The salads are huge and so fresh. Make sure that they understand your order - I ordered the chef with chicken but asked them to leave off the onions. So they left most of everything off including the onions. No meat, no croutons, no carrots or other vegetables except for a topping that didn't have much favor at all. The dressing was not there either. Total waste of my time and money.
