First time here and it was really good! I ordered the pepperoni, with hot honey-Mike's Sticky Fingers. I substituted the spicy sauce for regular sauce-it was delicious!!! I ate the entire thing! Service was good and ambiance was fair. We were there at noon and there wasn't a soul inside. So that is awkward and makes you wonder at the height of lunch time. They need music or something if it is empty. 4 stars because they charge you $1.06 for side of ranch and that is a bit ridiculous and want a tip. I don't know how you most people feel about that but I ordered at counter, got my own napkins, filled my own drink, and got up when my name was called to get food and cleared my table. The pizza is acceptable in both taste and thin crust quality. Toppings and sauce are tasty, but not the best. The restaurant itself is neat and clean. The service I've had in restaurant is satisfactory. Usually I only order this pizza through Doordash for 2 reasons: because it's close to my home, this pizza is what I order when I want fast and inexpensive because I don't like the other popular pizza delivery places. Pie Five was a staple in our house that we frequented about every other week until we moved out of state. My son would go there more often, then we did as a family, because this was his favorite place to eat. Since we moved, the one thing he requests that we have to bring him back is Pie Five. This last time we ran into Dave, an owner, and he sent us home with uncooked pies for us to try that way. It worked splendidly. Just as crispy and delicious for our boy to enjoy! Talk about going above and beyond for loyal customers! We travel back 'home' at least every six months so we get our son his pies and Dave will help us out. I love Pie Five you guys. It's fast, the gluten free crust is really good, and you get to add most toppings free of charge, including fresh basil, most proteins, and endless veggies. I don't ever eat inside, I typically order online and have it delivered. But it's kinda fun to go in person and direct/watch your pie being put together, then disappear into the oven and come out hot and crispy! Don't forget to add the basil olive oil drizzle. read more

The service and cleanliness were both below par. Upon entering we made our choices and when finished were told they had no personal pizzas or cinnamon sticks because their dough needed to rise three more hours. We promptly changed our order and proceeded to the checkout where we ordered one large and two children's drinks. We were given three large cups for the drinks. When I sat down at the dirty tables I noticed on the receipt that I was charged for three adult drinks. When I asked, the same employee told me they don't have kids drinks. She never said they were sorry or offered any compensation. There were only two employees on the premises, both under twenty. I have to say, i used to frequent this location a while back and love the size an taste of the pizzas. What the heck happened? The size is bigger and i know that, but the taste and look of the pies now just ain't what it used to be. The guy makin my pie was really nice and politely informed me that they were out of cheese and it would be awhile before they would have any. I've been coming to this location for at least 5 years. Through the years it's had its ups and downs. Everyone I know, knew it as the coldest place in town. The AC was always cranked to the coldest temp, and no one would eat inside. Possibly a business strategy? But that's not why I'm writing. Tonight my husband and I visited and had the most enjoyable time. We had been debating whether to have expensive Italian for our anniversary, or Pie Five. We decided on no frills at our old familiar place. We were greeted by 2 nice young men who were eager to help us. It was a short encounter, but it was obvious they worked as a team, and were the only ones working. They handled the customers perfectly and the pizza was great! When we left, I left something, and had to go back later. I arrived a few minutes before 9 pm, and the shop had already been cleaned by the guys and smelled really clean! I was greeted by the guys like we were old friends. (We're not yet), but We'll be going back again and again, because they created such a welcoming atmosphere, and great pizzas. Not impressed being a first time visitor. Everything was fine until I politely went to inform the male working there on the line that their sweet tea was unsweetened. Don't let me fail to mention I poured my cup out & sampled BOTH tea urns. Instead of just fixing the issue he decided to argue with me that he had added " 2 pounds himself " to the tea and his best suggestion was to use sugar packs. The regular thin crust in that order was dry and our group all agreed it was the worst pizza ever ordered out. I want to start by saying this review is not about the staff. They were so kind and doing the best they could, even though I could tell they were busy. I placed an app order to get the Mike's sticky finger pizza, but when my order was already completed I was told they were out of the hot honey. As that is the sole reason I wanted to try this pizza, I basically ended up with a plain pepperoni pizza with a little basil. I did not want to overwhelm the staff anymore or make a fuss while there was a line. so I just took the order. I also ordered the garlic butter breadsticks and when I opened them at home I saw they were completely plain. It looked like plain bread crust with absolutely nothing on it. I couldn't believe I wasted my money or rewards on any of this. Afterwards I wanted to make a complaint on the Pie Five website and tried to submit the review multiple times. We come to pie five a lot bc I can get the cauliflower crust and my kid only likes the traditional Softer crust. The catch is that kids pizza crust is hard as a rock/crispy and my kid hates it. So we've always requested kids bundle with traditional adult pizza split in half to make a kids pizza size. This typically is accepted. Today we were told this is not allowed anymore after asking someone in back. Bc of price for pizza/drink for kid at adult price and how much a child cannot eat. I won't be able to frequently visit anymore. We will have to go elsewhere. Price difference. $8 versus 12.99. With lots of wasted food. Big disappointment on customer service. read more

I'm torn between giving Pie Five 3 or 4 stars. I think the pizza is good, and I love that you can add as many toppings as you want- and as much as you want. I also like that they offer cauliflower crust- but it's not completely low carb. The cauliflower crust still has 20g of carbs for half the pizza. Still a better option than the regular crust, but not as low carb as I would like. It's a good option for people who are gluten-free. I ordered a cauliflower crust pizza with pepperoni, onions, and black, green, and kalamata olives. Still had to add a little salt for more flavor. Was just got banned from this location. As soon as we walk in we hear the loud screeching noise of chairs being moved across concrete. The staff was doing this directly behind when you place the order, which made it hard to hear the person doing the order. The person taking the order was soft spoken and wearing a mask, which compounded with the chairs being dragged made it impossible to order. (As a side note one of us has a slight hearing impairment and is very sensitive to loud noises - trigger migraines - which amplified the situation) Due to having sensitive hearing, one of us said to the other "I have to get the f*** out of here, and left. This was not said to anyone that worked there. The other one stayed behind to complete the order. When attempting to check out the other person came back in and said I am ready to get the f*** out of here. Again not to the workers. At that time the individual that said they were the DM said if they don't stop dropping the f-bomb we were going to have to leave. Mind you the food was done and we were taking it to go) He then said the f-bomb was said to the people that worked there, which he did not. Also said the restaurant was full. It was not. There was one other adult couple on the other end waiting for food and another adult ordering while we were attempting to check out. The other people had left before anything was said and there was no one else eating since the same area they said there was. Please note, the area they claimed someone was sitting, was the same area they had been cleaning and dragging at least 10 plus chairs across the concrete. Would be hard to do that if that area was full of customers, right? We mentioned the noise was like nails on a chalkboard, and their response - "these are concrete floors, can't be helped." Well yes it can, you can pick up the chair and move it instead of dragging it. Never once did they ask what the problem was or what made him upset. Instead just got attitude. The DM also responded by saying we will clean how we want. Yes, that was from the DM! Then said he would ban us and if we came back he would call the cops and say we were trespassing. Never once did we raise our voice or curse directly to them. But they were banning us because one us was saying curse words to the other. What is most concerning, is the DM, which a GOOD DM would do, would ask what the problem was. He never did. He never wondered if potentially the person had a health condition and loud noises cause triggers. You know - there are people out there, that those loud noises would trigger fits of rage (autistic, cerebral palsy, etc.) None of that was taken into consideration as to why a person was upset. You know, I thought we were supposed to be living in a kinder more understanding world- apparently not. What is interesting is, we have been going there since the place opened years ago almost weekly. This new owner took over about 9 months ago. We have never seen any of the people working in there except one kid. And when we were in last week he was complaining to customers he was having a bad day and was upset he had already had to work over 6 hours that day. So yeah, about that. Needless to say we will never go to ANY Pie Five again if that is how they treat their customers. Both of us have worked in retail and food service for a number of years in our past lives. Plus, my father was also an executive at a national retailer for decades and dealt with difficult customers daily. The motto we all grew up with was the customer is always right, and if you have a challenge there are appropriate ways to deal with them. You are supposed to be inquisitive and ask about the concern as a leader. Not jump to conclusions, ban people and then threaten with the cops if they show up again. Their DM was the complete opposite and the antithesis of that. So if you want to support a place that does not care about their customers - have at this place! read more

The staff was nice and helpful in creating our pizzas, and the ingredients and the inside of the restaurant looked very fresh and clean. We enjoyed pizza tonight at this new location. The place was pretty dirty in the back half of the restaurant and super hot in the front half of the store. Not pleasant. We chose a dirty table to avoid the majority of the heat. My daughter liked the gluten free cheese pizza with ranch, my son enjoyed a meat and veggie pan pizza and I got a mixed pan. Most of the pan pizza was gooey and seemed underdone in the center, affecting the center half of the pizza. It still tasted good though. read more

The employees were all laughing at me thinking that I was talking about something else ... Bathroom was in good condition , the Sensors for the sinks water were very weak, I guess this is because I have really small feet...
