I was very disappointed by the experience. The service was absolutely terrible from the start. I went to order a meatball Sub with French Fries and he accidentally cleared out my order. Once that got resolved, my phone let me know that Pie Cafe offered guests Wi-Fi but I didn't see it on the chalk board. When I asked the cashier about the password, he unenthusiastically. I asked him why not and if he could obtain it for me. His response was, "I just work here." When my order was ready, the French Fries were missing. I went back to the cashier to inform him He did apologize and handed me a very small, soggy container of French Fries. They were disgusting and there is no way they were wort $4.00. I went to ask for Ketchup but the Cashier was nowhere to be seen. This was only my second time eating at Pie Cafe. Then first experience was right after it opened and the food and service was much better. The next time I want a meatball sub, I probably will go to Papa Joe's in Eastlake. read more

Pie Cafe is my favorite. First time trying their cookies. Omg, my new favorite cookie. $5 for 5 cookies. I will definitely add these on to all my pizza orders from now on. Sooo soft, & the best cookie I have ever had. I wish I knew their recipe! Cheesy breadsticks were soft & flavorful; can't go wrong with ordering those. My go-to is always the meat lover's pizza. I personally don't like turkey bacon so order it without bacon & then just add my own crumbles since bacon is my favorite topping. No complaints from me. Awesome cafe and pizza spot in Willowick. Don't be fooled when you walk in, it looks mostly like a pizza shop, but they have a full coffee bar, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and of course lots of pies. I got a pistachio cortado, which was absolutely perfect. Hot, creamy, and strong. I also got an egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. The sandwich was pretty big, I think it had 2 eggs and lots of cheese. Almost too much. It was melty and gooey, mozzarella and provolone cheese, plus some type of house sauce. The sauce was great, but I could have been okay with half the amount of cheese. It does make be believe they can make a mean pizza pie. Service was super friendly and you can tell that it is family owned in operated. I stayed for a little while to send a couple of emails. Internet was easy to connect too, and it was pretty quiet. Looking forward to returning for a pizza or even one of their make-your-own pizza bagels. read more

This is a halal place so no pork products which I love. We got turkey, egg and cheese bagels and added turkey bacon. We also got the banana bread latte and the cherry berry mocha latte and they were both really good. They had a lot of desserts and pies readily available to grab and go. There was a big seating area and huge shock boards for kids to draw on if they get restless. There's also seating outside. Everything came out really fast and our food was brought to us. They have bagels, subs, pizzas, and a variety of desserts. It's off of a really busy street but there aren't many coffee shops or food stops like this around. I'd recommend if you're in the area and want a quick coffee or dessert. read more

This place has been on my "to try" list since I first heard of them and seeing so many good reviews. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in this pizza. They call it Detroit Style but the only resemblance to Detroit Style is the rectangular shape. The first and only time I've thrown away the crusts of a DSP. Even after forgetting that it is off style, it wasn't even a very good thick crust pizza. Very bland flavor and dense dough, the most prominent flavor came from the burnt cheese on top. We stopped through here on a road trip. We needed food, it was late, and we thought a quick slice sounded good. This place had great slices at $2/slice. Ours were hot and fresh. The slices were pretty large, as you can see from the photo. They keep it simple, as their name might suggest, and focus on pie, pizza, and wings. They clearly do this well. The pie was excellent, we ordered a sheet half pepperoni and the other half was sausage and onion. the people who work there are the nicest as can be. The restaurant is clean and plenty of room. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was for the delivery, the pie was left on my front stoop, and no one notified me that it was there. I recall an option to allow or not to leave the pie on the stoop. I was under the impression I chose not to do that. Maybe it was my fault but I'm not sure. Ordered 4 subs for delivery and was given a 1 hr wait time which at first I was fine with. So I waited and waited then next I knew it was already 20 past and still no delivery so I called the store they told me they lost my order and just found it. So I then had to wait another 20 mins for my food to be delivered. Once I received it guess what they weren't even made right the pizza sub had lettuce and this Italian dressing on it which it should have, the bbq chicken sub which was ask to remove tomato and onion from had them, and lastly the teriyaki chicken sub which was asked to not have cheese had cheese only one sub was made right. So I called the store back and they don't do anything to fix no remakes not discount nothing just a sorry and that was all. I have been seeing the social media advertising for this place for weeks and had not had the chance to try it. I was lucky to do so early this week. It's a large building with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a coffee or sandwich. They even have some fun games while you wait. Service was excellent and the owner himself took our order, patiently explaining our options and making sure we got what we wanted. We had two hot subs, the Italian (Unnfff) and the Chicken Ranch with bacon. So delicious. Hot and crunchy bread with plenty of meats and melty cheese. Wonderful subs. The fries are the hand cut variety, a bit soft but tasty with a little spice. Not crispy fast food style. I have not tried the pizza but it looks delicious as well. As for the pizza, it appeared to benefit from being cooked at a hotter temperature as it came out rather crumbly, reminiscent of a cake, and felt very soft and doughy. The food here can be awesome- however, if you order in the store 99.9% of the time your order will be wrong. Completely wrong. If you order online, 50% of the time it's wrong. If you try and speak to the employees about your order being wrong, sometimes they are understanding and will fix the problems, other times they tend to argue with you. It becomes an issue with ordering and getting the wrong items when you have given several chances and each time is essentially the same outcome. Not to mention having to wait an extra 20 plus minutes to fix an order that was placed correctly but made wrong when you have a house full of people who are hungry and have already waited over 30 minutes as it is. read more

We also ordered a cheese cake slice and peach pie. The cheese cake was great. we have ordered from here every weekend for the past 5 months never had a negative this to say. Tonight we got to subs both made to sub par could have got better from subway. Also an order of Cheesey garlic bread which we always get with a side of Rach. Fist of all our order was pick up 25 minutes which we were there in 20 everything was cold, no ranch with garlic bread. Happened to noticed this was the first time 2 pripple we have never seen before working. I hope this changes because we really love their food read more
