I ordered a buffalo chicken and a Philly cheesesteak. While they aren't the fastest sandwich producers in the industry the wait is definitely worth it. The subs are basic and very visceral. They are incredibly simple yet so filling and just gut-satisfying. The buffalo chicken sub had crispy fried pieces of chicken AND slices of chicken on top. Double chicken! And they offered ranch or blue cheese with it, JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHO OFFERS BUFFALO SANDWICHES SHOULD!! Seriously... the philly was juicy and also super basic. Wow. I can not believe how little meat they give you. I even paid for double meat and it it less than you would get at subway or Jersey mikes original amounts. I even asked if it was double meat and was told yes. Normal is just two slices of meat for an 8" sandwich. I also got their macaroni salad and it was so sweet you couldn't taste anything else. Haven't been here for a couple years, heard there were new owner's and wasn't sure what to expect. Shouldn't have waited so long! Our subs were delicious! They also fresh slice the meat when you order. We got my favorite, the cold Italian, and the Romanburger. Enjoyed it very much and the guys running the place were very nice. Wanted subs for a party. They come in 18" so I could cut six smaller but nice sized sandwiches from a sub. Because I wasn't serving them until later in the evening I had to do the cold subs but man, did those hot subs look delicious! I did the Italian and the turkey to please the crowd and they did just that. The meats were sliced fresh as the subs were made and all of the sides like, pickles banana peppers and sub sauce, were nicely packed up for me so as not to make my subs mushy by the time I served them. The people working there or so friendly and accommodating. One thing that I found disappointing was that they advertised whole wheat buns but when I got there they only had Italian white. They had mentioned that the baker they purchased from wasn't making the whole wheat anymore. If you like a good sub I would definitely try Tommy's! read more

Stopped by the UPs store and noticed this old school sub shop. Something intrigued me to check their menu and try them out. I liked that they are not a chain. Ordered the Philly cheese steak. First of all the very humble look of it and the simplicity of the place was cool. Everything looks and tastes fresh!!! We got the buffalo chicken and the Philly steak hot sandwiches. This was fantastic. Great price and one of the best hot Italian subs I've ever had. They slice the meat for each sandwich and the staff is so friendly. I came in as they were closing (which I hate to do), just about left.. but the woman there reassured me that it was no problem at all, had a conversation with me and told me that she would see me soon. Hands down THE BEST SUBS I'VE EVER EATEN! I don't know what the hell they do (apart from cutting all the meat and cheese for your sub when you order it) but you just have to try them to understand what I'm talking about. (They murder DiBella's if that helps give you a frame of reference.) Anyway, there are essentially only 2 subs to get there. The others are good, but the 'best subs ever' title comes from the Super Philly and the Hot Italian. If this will be your first time order one of those two and you will forever stop going to any other sub shop.
