I have made my last visit to this store . Though I love Dibella's Subs this store has worst service and food . 3 of last 5 visits were bad yet my last visit brought me to the brink. The attitude and actions of employees is appalling. from the time it took to make a order of 2 subs with no costumers in store when I arrived to finishing some one who came in after me and another customer that came in after me before them screwed up their order too. This is the best sub by far in my area. The bread is fresh. There's a good amount of Meat and cheese and extras. The staff always has it ready. A big thing...the sandwich is neat! Very disappointed with our experience. We placed a pickup order at DiBella's. It was 35 minutes past our pick up time when our food was ready. I ordered a Tuna sub. It was supposed to have tomatoes on it. There were no tomatoes on it and it had been loaded down with red peppers instead. I hate red peppers. It ruined the whole sub. read more

I used DiBella's Subs Catering for the first time. I was in charge of the food for Lake County's Lifeline, Inc. 50th Anniversary Staff Surprise Birthday Party Ronnie, and her DiBella's staff in Mentor, made the food and catering experience absolutely perfect. Just left the dibellas in warrensville hts. He made the sandwich so fast, but it was a simple order. Definitely DID NOT get what I asked for. A few sprigs of lettuce, no tomatoes and last but not least asked for extra extra onions, got 3 onions on the entire sandwich. So really I got a meat sandwich. Speed and accuracy are definitely 2 different things. Give the customer what they ask and pay for. Really pissed me off. If I come back, I will definitely check my food BEFORE I leave. Was getting my oil changed & brakes fixed @ClassicChevyMentor. Took my brother & nephew out to lunch they decided Dibella's. My nephew never had this place he's a picky eater he ordered the Italian assorted with bacon & like a dummy I didn't take any pictures of our sandwiches. As picky as my nephew is he really was impressed how delicious it was & he said "Subway, Jimmy John's & Penn Station need to step their game up." Ordered a mixed cheese sub but there was barely any lettuce nor tomato on it. Was excited about getting a real sub back up here in the North (vs Texas) but quite disappointed. I've been to other DiBellas and they're fine but this one is one I'll be avoiding in the future. The staff when I was there was unfriendly and seemed more interested in playing grab-ass and goofing around with each other than working. When taking orders they mumble and talk so low you can understand them and then get agitated when you ask what. I ordered a cowboy sub and added lettuce and tomato and I only got chicken and cheese. Far better than Subway with an old-fashioned appeal to it. DiBella's has been open since 1918, yet the venue seems to have been updated several times. Now, the food. I purchased a 12-inch whole wheat sub called "The One", which is a gargantuan-sized sub that you can't eat all at once (unless you are a hungry teenager). Add a bag of chips, drinks & two fresh cookies, and you are easily up to $16. Yet don't fret. The portion sizes of sandwiches are so large that you'll more than likely will be eating multiple meals out of this. The meat selections seemed to be made fresh, and the toppings nonetheless generous. Customer service is good, and this venue never seems to be super-slammed busy around the lunch hour during the week. Yet don't be surprised if it does. Will be back. read more

Quizno's with better bread and 20 questions you have to answer just to order a sub. Not bad, just not memorable. I ordered a small dagwood and it was pretty tasty and big for being a "small". Lots of meat, including turkey and corned beef. What I can say is that not one of the tastes really stood out. It really just tasted like miscellaneous meat on yummy bread. Back to the 20 questions part: Be ready to pick from toppings galore spewed from the mouths of the helpful employees. I had to sit there and think about all the meat, cheese, bread, peppers and condiment options for at least a minute or two while I felt bad for taking a while. Not a great situation if there's a line, but there wasn't, thank goodness. And the menus on the wall? Not really all that helpful. The dinning room itself really didn't have much to make you want to stay and enjoy the $20 you just dropped on two sub combos. It's a shame because you really wait a while for your food, too. Again, DiBella's wasn't horrible by any means, but it just wasn't a place I'd be clambering to get back to. I'd rather spend the money on two delish, fresh subs from Bogtrotters in Ohio City. Shouldn't take a half hour to make a BLT sandwich. Ridiculously slow, every time. Never an apology for it. Have employees just standing around doing nothing. Pricey for what it is as well. Avoiding from now on. Asked for tomato and onion on a cowboy (separate sub that was made in 3 minutes, obviously from the quality as well). Ordered 3 sandwiches, two of which were Buffalo chicken. Both sandwiches had hardly any Buff sauce and I cold not taste any blue cheese. Some of the chicken was like rubber or plastic. Haven't been here since after the opening years ago, so when I had the opportunity to grab a sub, turned in. Very disappointed! The sub was what I wanted. Cheese sub with veggies and oil, on white bread. Loaded cheese, and veggies perfect for a "quick" stop to pick up lunch. Key word, "quick"! 11:45 basic lunch time and six people ahead of me. No problem, its lunch. But by 12:05, line ahead of me reduced to four! Two served in 20 mins, huh? Here is why. One person making AND training new staff person. One person cooking hot subs. One person cashing out and answering phones! That's all! At the peak of lunch hour. Bad staffing, IMO. Finally at 12:20 placed my order and headed to cashier. Waited behind two others as the cashier spent 15 minutes more taking phone orders. Not one order, but three, while paying customers wanted to pay and leave! Will I be back? Most likely not. The Mentor location is terrible. Two times in a row, they completely jacked up our orders. Typically I'm not someone who cares if one little thing is missing or something, but when I say jacked up, I mean as in giving me nothing but bread one time with EVERY ingredient missing. DiBella's definitely has some of the best high-quality fresh subs around. Unfortunately this location is not up to par. The food has always been enjoyable (4 stars), however, the service is extremely lacking (1 star). I don't know if their employees could be any more lethargic. Even at lunchtime they have no sense of speed or urgency and always seem to be understaffed. Last time I was there, we left while waiting in line for 10 minutes when we were only one of 2 parties waiting! (The guy behind us in line did the same and left too.)
