Simply put there is no better pizza than Giuseppe's Sicilian style. I grew up near the Mayfield location which is sadly no longer there. I also no longer live in Cleveland, but whenever I am back I always make it a point to pick up a pizza from their Wickliffe location. It is truly the best pizza I've ever eaten. I've lived in Los Angeles for 20 years, and while not necessarily known for its pizza, there is definitely tons of variety in LA. That said, I've never tasted a pizza in all that time that has even come close to the quality and taste of Giuseppe's. Their pizza is truly on another level, and I hope they never change a thing. i have lived near this place for nearly 20 years and finally went to see what it was about. i stopped in on a Friday night and they were BUSY. i'm talking line out the door, 30 to-go orders stacked behind the counter etc. and.... somehow i was out of there within 5 minutes. i ordered online, walked right in and picked it up. they also had a fridge filled with great beers that you can purchase for takeout. i was blown away with the chicken parm sub. the focaccia had the perfect crunch to it and the garlic bread was great. i will be back. read more

We also ordered hot garlic romano wings. The New York pizza is a round pizza and tasted great. The white pizza was to die for, absolutely amazing. The wings were hot but not too hot. They were juicy and tender. The staff was very friendly. They limited the number of people in the place so as to keep your distance. It wasn't along wait and the staff moved quickly. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza square and a Rueben and cheesecake. Rueben and cheesecake were good. Pretty much what you would expect. The pizza I wasn't crazy about. The sauce was very acidic and almost bitter. Classic red. They need to add some sugar. I don't know if that would fix it for me but it would help. I won't be back for the pizza. I've said before that if I ever moved far away from home, Giuseppe's would be one of the only things I would truly miss and I still believe that. Their pizza is incredible! Something about the combination of the cheese they use and their amazingly good sauce tastes like heaven on earth. The crust is crispy around the edges, but soft where it matters and I love that it's square shaped, very unique. I've been getting just their plain cheese pizza for years and I actually have no desire to add any toppings because it's so good just the way it is. The service is great and everyone is very friendly there. They save your number so they know you by name if you've ordered before. Another homemade dressing, and I am EXTREMELY picky about Caesar dressing. I find the bottled dressing to usually be bland and too mayo-ey. This is cheesy garlicky goodness. My husband is working here in Cleveland for 6 weeks. We were looking for an exceptional pizza and we found it. Giuseppe's has authentic Sicilian deep dish pizza and New York style pizza. We had the garlic and cheese bread and deep dish Sicilian pizza. I ordered a bottle of wine to go along with dinner. The owner brought the bottle of wine to our table and talked with us about where we were from. He came back to check about how we liked everything. The marinara that is served with the garlic bread was fantastic. The pizza was equally as fantastic. The wine was an excellent compliment to the pizza. We are planning to return this week to try some of the pasta they offer. If you like pizza you really must try Giuseppe's! I was looking forward to their pizza, trying it for the first time. I ordered 3 pizzas and they said 25 minutes. We'll it took about 50 minutes.
