Solid take out for Turkish pizza, folks loved the one with tomato and the plain cheese versions of the pideler. They were quick and efficient with our order, and while some was a bit harder on the crust, generally enjoyed by many. I liked the pastrami but the ground meat and veggies in the Karisik version was not to my taste as much.

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant is! I tried Pide 28 for the first time today. You know it'll be a big hit when a restaurant specializes in a certain dish. The pide & lahmachun are freshly made, and you can tell by the wait time. We did not mind the wait as we were meeting up with friends and chatting. When the food came out, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavors and presentation. The Lahmachun has to be the best I ever had! Make sure to squeeze lemon on it and top it with the toppings provided! The Pide was larger and yummier than we thought, too! The spinach one was ah-mazing! And the Mozzarella and feta Pide was spectacular! I was left speechless after trying it, and couldn't stop eating! Also, the Pide and Lahmachun are not spicy, so they're kid-friendly. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant is clean. There is street parking, so plan your trip accordingly. I'll definitely be back with family soon!

No-frills storefront at the edge of the cluster of Turkish/Syrian/Palestinian restaurants in South Paterson. But the pide here (Turkish pizza) is absolutely delicious! We were already stuffed from a few meals nearby, but we still managed to convince ourselves to share the vegetarian special pide, which had a delectable blend of white cheeses, potato and other vegetables as toppings. The pie itself is of impressive proportions. It takes a little while for the pizzas to be made fresh, so keep that in mind. The outdoor patio is pleasant for having a cup of cay while you await your pide.

This place has some pretty great Turkish pies! The pide are each 3 ft and it's so fun to share with a few friends! The feta pide is a must have- the feta cheese is so delicious and they even stuff the crust. The vegetable pide lacked flavor but did offer some much needed reprieve from all the cheese. The two eggs and cheese pide was like a normal round pizza but you really need to stir the eggs yourself for them to cook well! It's a bit too oily for my liking but was bursting with flavor!

My favorite place for lahmacun!!!!!! The lahmacun from this place is so paper thing that you can eat more than two and still get more. Everything is fresh made to order. I can't recommend this place enough. The service is excellent, the staff and very friendly and willing to accommodate any substitutions. The menu is pretty straight forward. I usually order the lahmacun, and a pide to share. If you are ever in the neighborhood do yourself a favor and stop by for some lahmacun. You will NOT be disappointed.

Soo yummy, so fresh!! We got the cheese pide with thin cut tomatoes on top. It tasted amazing. The cheese was the perfect amount, not too much, not to little. The bread was perfectly baked. Highly recommend.

SOO GOOD! Excellent service, clean place and amazing food. Hubby got a pide with half sausage and half mixed meat and he loved it. If you're a cheese lover #guilty you have to get number 22 which is the Mozarella pide with butter and 2 eggs. The eggs are soooo runny I loved it to dip the crust in. Can't wait to go back

This is one of those small places that doesn't look like much from the outside, but does stand out. The pide, Turkish pizza with the edges of the dough are folded in to make a boat-shape, is wonderful. The most interesting thing is the way they serve it. It comes on a long wooden board (like 1 meter long). I tought I would never finish it. I did! It was so good and beyond better than what I expected. I also tried the butter and 2 eggs pide (Item # 22). This pide comes in a round shape. This traditional Turkish meal turned it into my new favorite breakfast. The eggs and cheese will melt in your mouth. Make sure you try the lovely Turkish tea and feel as though you are in Turkey ;)

This shop is located on a stripe with many other stores. We could have easily missed the entrance if it wasn't for my friend to point out where it was. They were friendly, n the service was fast. Best yet, the food was amazing. The little pickled appetizer came up first but it was too spicy and sour for me since I don't really ear spicy. My friend and I both had pide. She had the one with spinach n cheese and I have the one with ground beef. I had never had a pide before so the whole cutting it on the broad with pizza cutter was so awesome. I loved the vegetarian pide. It tasted really fresh. The thin crust was so crunchy and nicely baked it was like a party in your mouth. The food weren't expensive at all. We both got a bunch of food to go so we can pig out later at home! Woohoo this is definitely a win for Turkish food. And I will definitely come back!

Terrific lamachun (like a thin pizza with very flavorful ground meat)! I only had the lamachun and a shepard salad but they were both delicious. The place is clean, the staff friendly and I get the sense that the mostly get local Turkish people, so I am guessing it is pretty authentic. The mostly have a similar dish called Pide (pastry with different filling) so I will have to go back and try some. Came back a second time and had the ground meat pide, it was very good. This time they gave me some spicy pickled vegetables which were really yummy. I think I prefer the lamachun because I like the contrast of the cold vegetables. read more

This was my first time trying Turkish food and I really happy I choose this place. I had the meat lovers Pide and my wife had the spinach Pide. Eaten by them selves they were great but I decided to get a little creative and combine the a meat lovers pice and a spinach together and it was awesome. Excellent meal enjoyed by everyone at our table. We started with Shepherd salad with a side of feta cheese, while we waited for our lahmacun, which was made to perfection, and followed with all different types of pide that we thoroughly enjoyed - all of this was perfect to have with some Ayran as a drink option. Pictures here are a bit deceiving. The pide looks longer and wider and filled with more ingredients. What I received was super tasty, but smaller than expected. About the size of a medium pizza because it all fit in a pizza box. The pictures on the menu look absolutely nothing like what I received. The menu shows 1/4 this, 1/4 that, 1/4 this, 1/4 that.. this way if someone doesn't like one thing they can have a slice of another. What I received had everything on the whole thing. Pide is long, but thin.. I can eat a whole one by myself. read more

Lahmacun and pide are delicious and the restaurant is nice and clean. Prices are decent, we had 4 big lahmacun and a pide for $30. My friend and I both ate to our full. Excellent. We had pide and lamacun which were both delicious. We drove 20 minutes to pick it up so it wasn't steaming hot by the time we ate it but still delicious and was worth the effort. Also restaurant seemed to take a lot of precautions - noticed they put up a divider between tables. read more

This place has amazing food, however today I went their for lunch, we ordered 3 Lamachuns, and Tea. The bill came to $17.00, we wanted to pay by credit card. This BITC% takes our card, comes back and says, "sorry $20.00 minimum." We like "OK, no problem," we pull cash and casually tell her, you should really post the minimum credit card charge, she said "You should ask," and were like, "how are we supposed to know?" This girl says, "it's not my problem," we ask her to give us our change, and tell her we are not coming back, she says, "That's OK" - worst of all the owner is right their watching the whole thing. No matter how good the food is, won't be returning back because of the waitress, I am pretty sure I saw her broom parked outside. read more

If you care about your health you will not want to eat here. First negative experience was a while ago whe we asked for greens for our lahmacun but without onions. We were told they don't have... ok, probably too busy/lazy to do it then today i went again to give them a se ond chance and ordered 8 lahmacuns. They told me they are pretty busy and it's going to take around 20-25 min. After waiting in my car i went back to see the guy handlening the food touching doors, chairs, credit card with the same glove. Only one of his hands had a glove on. Nobody using gloves in the kitchen, masks not covering the nose! Employess going outside then coming back without washing or sanitising their hands. When i told them my concern the answer was "i can not be more careful than this!" Dissapointing. I will never return and my friends will not eat from here eaither after i will tell them what i have seen today. Covid 19 or no Covid 19 these are basic rules to fallow in a kitchen! read more

This place was amazing and are taking great precautions during this pandemic. The food was so rich and fresh and it tastes like a home cooked meal. I felt very welcomed and happy being there. Ever since Sahara owner sold his restaurant and the menu changed under the new owner, I've been looking for a place that makes spinach pide. A few Turkish places who make pides don't offer spinach pide for some reason. I was so happy to find Pide 28 and had high ones because it specializes in pides! Well, the spinach pide left us disappointed. There was little spinach but more onions, the dough was very thin, and strangely there was tomato paste which added some sweetness to the dish. We ordered it closed so perhaps the dough was stretched more to close it? My husband who went into the restaurant to pick up the order noted the open pide looked better. We also ordered the lahmacuns and I found the tomato paste they use also made this dish sweet for my taste. One thing that was really excellent was the shepherd salad. It was so flavorful and somehow the veggies stayed fresh and even the cucumbers stayed crunchy for 3 days! It did seem to have more oil than other places I've been to, but it was really tasty. However, don't think I'll return just for shepherd salad. read more
