The building is beautifully kept with a finely manicured landscape and the inside is comfortable, fresh, and newly updated! The menu offers a variety of beautiful pizzas at affordable prices! The pizza was outstanding as well! They have new world pizza and old world pizza as well with fresh ingredients. Plus the owner and the rest of the staff are friendly, and very welcoming! The best pizza I have ever had, ever. It's quick, it's freshly made in front of you, the staff is super helpful and friendly, and IT IS SO GOOD. I highly recommend asking for what the staff recommends, they did us good. It's peaceful and upbeat to dine outside, amongst their gorgeous flowers. Best EVER, anywhere! Everything about this place is 100% great ...awesome...outstanding. Had the Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks, but they aren't **really** bread sticks, it looks like a pizza and cut into strips. SO GOOD and have never had this before. I dream about it when we go back to Ohio. We also had the cheese and pepperoni, but they will custom make your pizza,, with the many toppings displayed right in front of you, behind glass. They have specialty pizzas for only $14.00 and they sounded delicious. I would love a veggie, but husband likes just pep. We will stop here every single time we come to Michigan. Actually we drove an hour, just to eat here, and an hour back to our cabin. So we will be "regulars". read more

The food here was excellent! We ordered a basic cheese and pepperoni for our daughters. My husband and I got sausage, peppers, and basil. All the ingredients were really fresh. One pizza was old world style and the other traditional. Both were delicious. We also got salad which was fresh with mixed greens and good veggies. Not sure if the dressing was homemade but it could have been. The staff was very friendly and although busy everything came out quick. Dining inside is limited but they have a nice outdoor area. This is a solid pizza place with just a few things that could make it so much better. The pizza is good quality and we were able to do a half and half pizza which we really appreciated. The price is very fair. When you walk in it is way to congested and there is nowhere to go to get out of the way. This is where u place your order, right by the door. The seating is very small and we had to eat outside on a rainy day. On the good side the outside of the restaurant is very sweet and family friendly. We would definitely eat there again. read more

I grabbed a flier for PRP as I was leaving our hotel. After our Pictured Rocks Boat tour we stopped in for pizza. The pizza was amazing! I loved the location. I think the owner said it was her husband's grandparents house. It was beautiful and clean inside. The outside by the gazebo had hundreds of beautiful flowers planted. We hit a rush and had to wait a little bit to order, but the pizza came out fast, and everyone was working like crazy to fill order. I was so impressed by this place. Fantastic wood fired pizza! Friendly, fast service at what appears to be a family owned business. The menu has a great variety of signature pizzas as well as a build-your-own option. We loved the Mediterranean pizza. Dining room was a bit small but plenty of outdoor seating on a covered patio. Both areas were very clean and inviting. Really the only downside we found here was that the combination of background graphic and font size made their wall mounted menu a bit difficult to read. We stopped in for pizza before our PR boat cruise and were pleasantly surprised. We got cheese pizza for the kids and a Mediterranean for my wife and I. It took less than 10 minutes from the time we ordered until we were served, though that may have been because we were there at 4 on a Monday, a little early for dinner. The Mediterranean was superb and the cheese pizza was also very good. Also the employees were all very friendly. Lastly I thought the price was very reasonable for a tourist town. Very good pizza. They have several specialty pizzas, but a large portion of their menu is a build-.a-pizza opportunity for you to have exactly what you want. Choose crust, sauce type, toppings. So you are choosing more than just toppings. The crust was one of the best ever. It was thin under the toppings, but crunchy & tender around the edges. Sauce SO fresh. Would definitely go there again. They also had several great looking salads & loaves of bread. It was very clean. Service good, staff friendly. Small eat-in area or take out available. Outside seating (they are located across M-28 from Lake Superior ) but it was too cool the day we were there to eat outside. There is a history there too. An owner remodeled his grandparents home for the business. Went to Statin Island to learn wood-fired pizza making. We wish them well with their venture! Definitely recommend. read more
