The outdoor seating area is really nice but a bit chaotic especially when it's busy. The only reason I can't give it a fifth star is because they served every pizza with a lot of disposable utensils and plates. My family and I were coming off a weekend long hiking trip around the area. We were wrapping up the trip and decided to stop by PRP for a quick lunch. This quick lunch quickly turned into a full 90 minutes of feasting. My family and I were impressed by each item we tried. From the definitely-going-to-burn-your-tongue-but-worth-it cheese bread to the various specialty pizzas, everything was made to perfection. Aside from the food, we received a gorgeous view of Lake Superior when walking in and dining. The establishment itself is small but cozy. Will be back again when we visit that area. read more

My son has multiple food allergies so it's not always easy to find places to eat on the road. He loves pizza and is used to getting it without cheese, so we decided to stop in here after the Shipwreck Tour to grab something to eat. Walking in, my daughter noticed a sign for Daiya dairy-free cheese on the door. You'd give them five-stars too if you could have seen the look on my son's face when he found out his pizza could have cheese on it. The staff was friendly, it was a nice day so we took advantage of dining outside, the pizza's came up quick and all tasted good. This place operates like a Subway, but with pizza. I liked the pizza but found the staff rude and unhelpful. I ordered a pizza and a baguette. When I reached the checkout I asked if I could add one more pepperoni pizza to my order because I didn't think I had ordered enough. The cashier looked at me with a blank stare and says "If you can get her attention and tell her she can make you another pizza." By then the girl making the pizza had gone back to the beginning of the line and I couldn't get her attention. I said to the cashier, "Well if you can't get her attention for me and I can't get her attention, then I guess I can't have another pizza." He nodded his head and rang up my order. (!) I can't understand why he couldn't have taken 3 steps back, tapped her on the shoulder, and asked her to make up another pizza before moving on to the next customer. I realize he was the cashier and not the pizza maker but it wouldn't have been too hard to help a customer get what they want. read more

Pizza was great once we finally got it. Restaurant was randomly closed on Sunday and Monday and then open on Tuesday. We called and asked if we dhouldnorder by phone or come in...they said come in. It was a beautiful day so we ate in the outdoor area. Manicured like a park and very clean. Plus a few things for the kids to do while they wait. Was a great place to relax and eat and enjoy the shaded seating. Only negative, but a small one, is the foam plates and small tables that leave no room for the food. Stopped in based on yelp reviews that mentioned they offered gluten free pizza and was NOT disappointed! We ordered the gluten free margarita pizza (with bacon) and it was awesome (fresh mozzarella base layer YUM). When we ordered GF crust, the staff asked if we were celiac and offered to make the pizza "in the back" from the fresh ingredients that weren't yet cross contaminated. I appreciated this greatly as we were on vacation and no one likes to be stuck on a road trip with gastro issues. Friends with us ordered both a speciality pizza and a pepperoni pizza and said both tasted great. I would highly recommend for anyone with celiac or gluten issues. This place was great! It's a family run establishment that works hard to make delicious pizzas and deliver great customer service. We ate here twice during our stay in the UP and we weren't even staying in Munising. They were packed both visits but our pizzas and service were excellent each time. They have a hand tossed crust and a gluten free crust, several different sauces, and fresh cheese and ingredients. My husband and I shared a pizza. They only have one size and it's plenty for two adults. We didn't choose one of their specialty pizzas so it was like subway for pizza as we added what we wanted from all the ingredients laid out in front of us. They add the perfect amount of everything and then top it with a parmesan mixture. We had them cook our second one a couple minutes longer but that is just a preference we have, they're original cook time is fine. This place is a MUST TRY!!! read more
