I got customer service here that you wouldn't expect at a junkyard. Helpful people and smiles all around. I got there pretty late and when I stumbled up to the cash register right at closing time, with an old, worn-out debit card that could barely be read anymore, I got none of the attitude I was expecting. Zailene at the front desk was patient and cheerful, and I wanted to make sure I mentioned her for the quality service and good attitude. All in all, this was a nicely-kept yard. The cars were off the ground, the ground was dry, and there wasn't too much debris to trip over. The good people working there were an extra surprise. I came a long way to pull parts from a rare car, and it was pretty important for this trip to work out well. Thanks for a good experience. read more

My aunt sold her car, signed over her pink slip, and asked that her check be sent to my house in Oakland Ca. The car was picked up but we didn't know what day and when they would send her check. I called the office but they had no record of it so they gave me the # to the guys that tow the cars. Max picked up when I called. He couldn't find it either but based on the year and make of the car he figured out that the phone # was wrong in their file. He told me what was up and assured me that my aunt's check was on it's way..If you need a to sell a car in Merced and you're elsewhere. Do it with this Pick n Pull, because Max got your back. To the young man who sold me the battery today : I am a 50 year old female 8 year Army Veteran , so carrying a battery is not a problem . I am also pretty book smart and knowledgeable when it comes to my Suburu . Looking up the battery was not a problem either . At that point I was even a bit amused ,however, turning your back when i was asking you a question and speaking to the Men behind me , was unacceptable . I had a very long day at that point You should not judge a book by its cover . it took me 40 minutes to buy a battery when i was second in line . even carrying the battery to my car wasnt a problem . I guess my 65.00 you charged me is going rate for a used one i was just trying to get mobile . I have never been treated this way before . Me and my father stood in line for 30 min. We finally get to the front of line and we're told we cannot go in because we don't have a mask on. We politely ask the lady why there is not a sign out front stating that we need to wear masks. The lady shoo's us away and says you cannot come in here go away. Rude!! I brought a car in on a trailer to sell for scrap. There was no where to park. I saw no signs and there was no one to help. I got in line to get somebody to help me. After waiting forever in line they said go into an office. After dealing with the title and getting a price I was told to go dump it off. Ok fine so I go and unchain it, but I could not get it off the trailer because the key was missing and the tranny was in park. So I asked if they could pull it off. They then stated to me that they can not help me what so ever. That I was told by the buyer that it is my responsibility to get the car off the trailer. This was a incredibly lame operation. They were rude and refused to help me due to liability. I tied a rope onto a BMW and to the car and yanked the car off of the trailer. Don't bring these jerks any business. Service sucks and the 30 day warranty is crap. I purchased a part for my vehicle and I was told by Merced pick-n-pull, "your part has a 30 day warranty if its defective or is not compatible with your vehicle just bring it back and we will provide an exchange or store credit." they lied. The part was not compatible with my vehicle. I took it back and was told they couldn't help me because some mark was missing on the part itself. When I bought it nobody marked the part IDK if someone was supposed to mark it but they didn't. So know I'm stuck with a part that I don't need, the gas I spent to get there, not to mention the money I paid for the part. read more

Pick n Pull was good until the towing enterprise they are with have me a Horrible Service. I got a call from Lisa who is an executive secretary and she did not speak professional at all. How did she get this position with a horrible attitude? She yelled at me impatiently and she told me they will be there in 5 minutes. Pick n Pull who they are contracted with told me they will call me 15-30min before they arrive. BUT Lisa gave me 5 minutes only. This was devastating. Then Wallace, the tower, spoke to me with such pride that if I wanted to complain and if I don't like their enterprise I can call someone else. I'm just surprise with how impulsive and aggressive they were towards me. They interrupted my speaking so many times and dared to talk down on me. I spoke to them politely and spoke with my rights. My car was at my house that was burned down, so I had to drive there and they expect me to be there in 5 minute ? In the end they did tow my car, however I will not ever call them again. Please LISA AND WALLACE, reflect on yourself o what's your position. At this rate I hope you don't give any other customer a hard time with your rudeness. read more
