The service was excellent and is amazing. First time eating at PI CO and I was missing out...

Finally tried Pi Co thanks to a friend's suggestion. I was impressed with the speed and quality given I was on lunch break and had limited time. The people working there were friendly and took the time to explain some of my options. The pizza oven is also super quick, only taking a couple minutes to cook the pizza. I love this type of pizza where the crust is fluffy, has great flavor, and has a bit of chew to it! It's thin crust and perfect for folding! I got the margarita pizza and it was fantastic! The quality of ingredients shines through, as they tasted very fresh. The one thing I wish they had were better dipping sauces. Their dips mostly consist of their various pizza sauces and oils. Overall, I had a fantastic experience! The restaurant is clean and bright, the service was quick and friendly, and the pizza was absolutely delicious! I'll be back soon to try other pizzas and toppings!

My wife and I were walking through the (cold) streets of Toronto when we had a sudden craving for some nice, freshly made pizza. I recalled there was a PiCo around the corner, and I had been to it, but it had been a few years now (pre-COVID!). Although it had been a while since I had been to the restaurant, my vague recollection was that it was a nice, cozy atmospheric restaurant with amazing pizza -- just what we were looking for on a Sunday evening. As we were in the area, we decided to go to PiCo on the intersection of University and Adelaide. My pre-COVID memories of venturing into PiCo re-surfaced and I was pleasantly surprised that the ambiance was exactly the same as what I remembered. In addition, we were made even happier when we found out that PiCo had a deal, where if you ordered a Craft Your Own pizza via their app, the cost would only be $10 (vs. $17 normally)! My wife and I both crafted our (delicious) pizzas with a bunch of vegetables including roasted garlic, broccoli, kalamata olives, jalapeno, onion, red peppers, mushroom and spinach. On top of that, I also got crushed san marzano tomatoes sauce, shredded mozzarella and fior di latte cheese. After eating the pizza, all I could say was WOW. The ingredients tasted very fresh, the dough was perfect and all, around the experience was phenomenal. We'll definitely be going back soon.

    Topping - full pizza!

After a super cold day where we got our first taste of snow this year, my husband and I decided that we could definitely do with a nice hot pizza! We went for the craft pizza in which you can choose your own toppings, and that too an unlimited amount! I got a little excited and added almost every topping I could, and made it into a supreme cheesy veggie pizza. I was a little scared that the dough might be too soggy with all the toppings but I was proven wrong! The dough was crispy and flavourful, and with all the toppings ranging from your normal jalapeño etc to more "fancy" toppings like grilled eggplant, artichoke and full cloves of roasted garlic ; my pizza was beautiful! There's olive oil and chilli flakes on hand if you need that extra kick, and there's plenty of seating if you can't wait to just take those first few bites! Staff are super friendly - we ordered for pick up and the pizza was super hot! Yummy!

Quick grab to-go and gobbled it up before work! Filling and satisfying. Conveniently close by to work. It was quiet when I went. Was served quick and got my order with reasonable time. Thanks !

Margherita pizza (only $3.14 on Pi day!)

For a fast food posit, this place has GREAT pizza. We came for their pi day deal, which means you can get a Margherita pizza for $3.14, an amazing deal. While the food was outstanding, the service was less so. The main cook basically yelled at us to tell us that we had to get the app to order the deal, which we did. He just seemed to have a bad day and not care at all for the effect it had on his colleagues or the customers.

Pi Co has craft your own pizza! Had to try out this place as I'm a big fan of Blaze. I've been excited to come here as I heard that they have custom salads unlike the latter. Despite the fact that I came by to order late in the night, the ingredients tasted very fresh for both of my visits. First, the pizza had a different mouth feel - it's more of a chewy dough with thick crust (but not too thick). I also noticed there's more variety in terms of sauces, cheeses, and toppings. San marzano sauce? Spicy soppressata? They've got it! Not having had these before, I took this experience as a great opportunity to try new things. And I didn't regret it one bit. It was such a yummy pizza! I've got to say though, the salad was equally as yummy. The salad I crafted had so much colour and was well-balanced with the different textures and flavours. I've also ordered online on their website and picked up my order in store. Process was smooth and I'd recommend doing this if you're hungry and looking to save up time waiting in the queue. Will definitely be back for more!

    Every location was closed!!! SCAM!

I love to get pizza, and when I can customize it, it makes it even better. Pico serves Neopolitian style pizza using fresh ingredients. Coming in, the store wasn't that busy yet, so there were a lot of seats available. The staff was very attentive and asked us if we had any questions. The menu offers other things besides pizza like their fresh garlic bread, and other snacks. There's also the optionn of getting the standard Magherita pizza or opt for the build your own pizza. We went for the build your own pizza option and with that, you can have unlimited toppings. What I really like was a seeing the staff building my pizza right infront and once you confirmed your order, they place the completed pizza in their special oven which cooks the pizza within 90 seconds. The staff was nice enough to stop his motion of cutting the pizza so I could get a photo as well. The pizza looked and smelled so fresh coming out of the oven. The pizza crust was very soft, and it was so cheesey too. You can tell they don't cheap on ingredients as I was able to accomplish the cheese pull (something you wouldn't get at pizza pizza). I was really happy with the pizza and will be back!

This review is for an order placed via Ritual app. Had the "Craft Yours - Pizza" which runs $14 with unlimited toppings! The menu recommends to order 4-5 toppings for best results, and against my desire to load it with everything - I tried it with Regular Dough, 3 Cheeses (Shredded Cheddar, Fior Di Latte, Goat Cheese), Crushed San Marzano Tomatoe Sauce, Bacon, Mushroom, Spinach, Roasted Garlic, Spicy Sopressata. The 11" sized pi is a good size for one. It is very thin - so I guess it was wise to follow the recommendation of only 4-5 toppings. Otherwise it'll fall apart because it's so heavy! The pizza was ready at the time the app reported it to be ready for pick up. Service was nice and friendly. Also learned that this location as lots of seating! So perhaps dine in next time. Will definitely be back again!

A welcome addition to the Financial District, this newly opened Pi Co had their grand opening earlier this week. I like to customize my food when that option is available so I decided to craft my own pizza with their unlimited toppings for $14. They had a variety of cheese to choose from such as blue cheese, goat cheese, ricotta, parmesan and fior di latte. The interior is quite modern with the use of wood and marble and the space is nice and clean. The staff were really friendly and took the time to explain to me which ingredients paired well together based on their flavour profiles. The pizza dough is quite thin so it is best not to overload the toppings. Overall, I love how my pizza is ready in only a few minutes and will be back when I am craving for some fresh and delicious pizza!

The amazing pesto grilled chicken salad!! Mixed green, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, mozzarella, pear, sundried tomato.

This review is for the salad bar within Pi Co. Essentially they are in the same location. I took advantage of the $1 meal during Ritual eatsweek and ordered the Large pesto chicken salad. It was amazing. When I visited its website though, it doesn't look like they have this pre-set salad as a choice so I'm not sure if it's a special menu within ritual. Regular price of $14 is a bit expensive but the quality doesn't disappoint. It comes with spring mix, grilled chicken (super tender and moist though not a lot), roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, some pear chunks, few cloves of roasted garlic (not bitter at all!), drizzle in pesto dressing. It also comes with goat cheese but I requested to be replaced by mozzarella. The whole salad was very flavorful. It would have been perfect if there's some nuts like pine nuts and/or dried fruits like cranberry to enhance the texture. And I'll order more if it's cheaper like at about $10. Essentially a salad bar in a pizza shop is like getting only the toppings of a pizza lol.

I don't want to be cheesy but come here if you want to build your own Mona Pizza. At a price of $14 you have the option of loading your pizza with a bunch of different toppings to your desire. It's crazy they have more toppings than Subway! So piz your creativity together and get cracking. I made mine with ham, corn, jalapenos, and blue cheese. The end result was great! Although my boyfriend had a few chirps up his sleeve regarding my choice of toppings... The pizza comes out nicely cooked except you may find a few piece of burnt crust as it is fairly more difficult to gauge the appropriate cooking time with a wood fired oven. For the rest of the crust you have access to lots of olive oil and chili peppers to make your own crust concoction. Overall, this is a perfect place for a quick dinner or if you knead something that will satisfy your pizza cravings.

Really, really tasty pizza, I went with the classic Margarita. The only sticking point was they didn't have beer available when I visited.

This place gets a solid 4.5/5 for its authentic southern Italian food and very friendly & attentive…read moreservice. It has a very homey, old-school Italian American restaurant ambience - the opposite of the stylish, hipster or touristy restaurant vibe. Apparently this restaurants gets a lot of regulars, and I could see why. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back to the 1960s with the red-and-white checkered tablecloths, red chairs, old-style wax candles, brick walls, and a large black-and-white photo of an Italian family on the wall (perhaps the founder or owner's?). I could see this place being a movie set for films that need an old, classic Italian American restaurant as a setting. In addition to the décor, I love the 1960s music being played in the background. Size-wise, the inside of the restaurant isn't that big so it feels very cozy. It can get very busy and crowded after 5 pm, as most people seem to come here for dinner. We came during lunch hour and we were the only patrons there. The southern Italian touches are very apparent in most of their dishes - with heavy reliance on olive oil, tomato-based sauces (especially in the fish and seafood dishes), fresh seafood, herbs, peppers, and vegetables such as eggplant. This is in contrast to northern Italian cuisine that is characterized by rich, creamy dishes using butter, lard, and cheeses, and puts more emphasis on rice, polenta, and meat-heavy dishes (where as seafood is more prevalent in the south). Dishes that we tried: 1) Baccala (Pan-Seared Black Cod) - This was the BEST and my favourite dish here. The black cod had a crispy exterior and flaky interior, and came with roasted mini potatoes and mixed vegetables (zucchini, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, eggplant) roasted with garlic -- such a well-rounded and wholesome dish. The roasted mini potatoes were so flavourful, and the vegetables had a nice char. I asked for the puttanesca sauce on the side, as the fish was already flavourful on its own without the sauce. But the sauce was better than I expected - it contained actual whole chunks of cherry tomatoes and olives. 2) Steamed Mixed Fish & Seafood in Tomato Sauce - This dish wasn't on the website menu, but it was on the printed menu in the restaurant. It reminded me of cioppino (Italian-American mixed seafood stew with tomato sauce, herbs, and spices). It came presented as wrapped inside aluminum tin foil, which the server then opened in front of us on the table with steam coming out. The fish was salmon, and seafood consisted of mussels and shrimps. This dish was just alright. For almost $50, there wasn't much seafood. 3) Pizza Funghi - I liked the very thin and crispy crust, and the sliced roasted mushrooms as toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the "truffled honey" they added on top of the pizza. I didn't taste any truffle, and the honey made it very sweet. Not a fan of sweet pizza. 4) SIDES: Rapini, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms - They got bonus points for being able to customize the sides. They didn't have asparagus that day, so they substituted it for steamed Brussels sprouts with garlic instead - which was heavenly. The Brussels sprouts weren't overcooked at all, and they were generous with the garlic (anything with extra garlic gets extra thumbs up from me). The rapini came out chopped with a side of lemon wedge. Mushrooms weren't on the menu as a side, but we asked and they were able to make a simple side of just mushrooms. Overall the vegetables got 9/10. The chef was very friendly as he came out and talked to us. The server was extremely attentive. Great service overall.

Nice local Italian restaurant that is enjoyed by us locals as well as those who come down for shows…read moreat the St Lawrence ctr for the arts and the Meridian Hall as well as sports fan here for games. They have a great stock of wines and an impressive drink list that we don't get to enjoy as we can't handle drinks these days. We do enjoy the food and the friendly service immensely tho. Lots of options for shareable apps; excellent options on pizzas and pastas; and I am always impressed with their mains (as someone that has to limit carbs, options can be limited at some Italian restos). They are also understanding of reasonable diet requests. They have gluten-free options as well. It is more of a "quiet" restaurant in terms of the clientele chatter, at least for the times I was there, so I can hear the music they play ("oldies"!!!!)
