I took their hot yoga class, which was both refreshing and energizing. The instructor was incredibly kind and hands-on with her guidance, making the class enjoyable for all levels. The facility itself has so much to offer! It really feels like a one-stop shop for fitness and wellness. There's a small cafe on-site, which is perfect for grabbing something before or after a workout. They also have multiple pickleball courts, which adds a fun, social element to the experience. My favorite part was definitely the recovery area. They offer cryotherapy, infrared light therapy, compression, and massage chairs. I personally tried the compression therapy and was very satisfied with how it made me feel afterward. The room stays between 90-95 degrees, and the instructor walks you through an hour of practice. I went to the 6am class, and it is a little intense for those that haven't practiced in a while. The room does get hot, and if your body isn't used to it, you will get dizzy, drink a ton of water!!!! It is a class for all levels though, so don't be intimidated by the girl that can twist her legs and do handstands at random, or the grunter that grunts every 5 seconds. The gym itself is pretty small, but it has all the equipment you need. Their bathrooms have lockers and showers as well. They offer towels as well and other items in the restrooms if you forget to bring your towel! It's pretty well maintained.

Because it's a small gym in a shopping center that's very convenient to access and provides the things that I need to have in a gym. For the price point and the convenience it's really hard to beat having access to all the cardio and weights you could need. I was there over lunch and it was not very crowded at all. By the time I left at like 1:45 I was one of maybe 3-4 people in there. No locker rooms. No problem. Standalone bathrooms for all genders have showers in them. Some small lockers available in the main area. Free weights, squat rack, two landmine attachments, tons of equipment... The 24/7 unstaffed model is really cool, and, it seems, is the only way to make a gym accessible 24/7 in this economy. Gone are the days of every 24-Hour Fitness location actually being 24 hours. (They should just change their name at this point.) The owner, Michaela, was very friendly and helped me get signed up via my gym membership plan extremely quickly. I was genuinely interested in becoming a member, so unfortunately this experience was very…read moredisappointing. ***this is your moment to grab something to drink*** I currently have a membership with LA Fitness, but my usual location closed, making my commute considerably longer. Fitness Connection is only about five minutes from me, so I decided to give it a try before committing to a new membership. I obtained a free trial pass, which says: "1. Walk into the club. 2. We'll activate your trial. 3. Go explore." Based on those instructions, I went to the club on Tuesday expecting to be able to work out. Instead, I was told that trial passes require an appointment because someone needs to show me around, and that I would not be able to work out that day. We scheduled an appointment for today. Unfortunately, the appointment process was also frustrating. I initially received an email confirmation for the wrong time, which we corrected. Today, I then received a reminder voicemail with the wrong time again. When I arrived for the appointment, the employee I had been scheduled with was not there. I was fine with someone else showing me around, but I was then told that I was expected to work out immediately after the tour. This was particularly frustrating because I had planned my schedule around the information I had been given. After work, I was exhausted and had specifically planned to exercise the following morning. When I explained this, I was told that they could instead show me around tomorrow, meaning I would have to spend more time at the gym than I can fit. I pointed out that this was not what the trial-pass email says. I was told that they are aware the email contains incorrect information and that it needs to be updated because this is not how the trial process works at this location. At that point, I decided not to pursue the membership. I don't have the time or energy for a process that has already required multiple trips, conflicting information, and repeated scheduling issues before I've even been able to use the gym. I also found the parking situation extremely difficult. It took me about five minutes of driving around the lot before I was able to find a parking space. I do want to say that the front-desk employees I interacted with were friendly and professional. My frustration is not with them; they were simply following the procedures they had been given. The issues seem to be with the communication and processes behind the scenes. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for employees to repeatedly deal with customers who are confused or disappointed because the information they receive does not match how the location actually operates. I was genuinely considering becoming a member, but after this experience, I decided to go elsewhere.

We came around 11 am on a weekday and the gym wasn't busy at all. Large area of machines, a cross training section, free weights and bars, and the upstairs had a myriad of treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, steppers, etc. I also saw a group fitness class happening, there's also a Pilates studio with reformers, and a spin room. I don't know if those are extra but seems as though there's lots of great options to get your fitness groove. Locker room has showers with a hair/body wash. They have saunas and pool. Bring your own towel and locks for the lockers. It's clean but minimally supplied. No hair dryers either. I wish they had a water bottle filling station, only a standard drinking fountain.
