After grabbing some weights and equipment for the class, I got started. I liked the blend of yoga, bar and aerobic exercises, and more tension-based exercises with the core. Keeps things more interesting with the variety of movements. I had a substitute instructor who was overall great and very encouraging. She really pushed us because she would often count down for some exercises which would make me think we would be done after that, but then she would lead us right into another exercise using the same muscles so you wouldn't get a break! Overall a great opportunity to be challenged with a full body workout! I would definitely go back if price wasn't a barrier for me personally. I've made so many new friendships and let's be honest.. it's hard to make new friends as an adult. It's my place of choice to go to relieve stress, to focus on getting stronger and to just breathe. This gym is primarily women as most classes offered revolve around music. The classes are well choreographed and the instructors are fantastic people. It is kept very clean and has a cool waiting room. They have one bathroom so not a full changing area, but some people do change when they arrive.

The music is upbeat songs currently played on the radio. I've seen many people do their own thing if they can't do a certain move, or go at a slower pace which is nice due to the fact that it is great for beginners as well as advanced, or great for any age. The strength class is HARD, I love it! The facility has a changing room, bathroom and water fountain. I know they provide child care for the times indicated on their website but I have not been in that room. They have all the equipment you'll need for the workouts. The staff is very nice.

It's $130 a month for unlimited CrossFit classes, which is much cheaper than other places nearby. I always look forward to my workouts at Omega, and they're usually posted online the night before. The coaches are passionate and fun and have great taste in music (for the most part). During the Open, we had a huge group for Friday Night Lights and it was super fun. As a female, I couldn't ask for a better group of women to work out with, too! So glad I found this place last year.
