Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Persistent Harassment and Discriminatory Behavior…read moreI am sharing this to warn the community and formally urge LA Fitness management to strictly enforce its Code of Conduct. I hope that by speaking out, others who have had similar encounters feel empowered to come forward and share their experiences as well. My recent experiences at the Plano South (W Pres GWB Hwy) location have been deeply disturbing, and it has become clear that I am not the only victim of a specific individual's aggressive misconduct. The Incident on 4/1/26: Between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, I was subjected to verbal abuse by a long-term member (a tall, thin, older white woman). While I was using the public shower, she began timing me, yelling that I was a "liar" regarding my time in the stall, and cursed me out, calling me a "nasty woman." This is the second time she has targeted me; weeks prior, she interrupted my shower to interrogate me on how much longer I planned to be there. A Notorious Pattern of Targeted Bullying: After this incident, I spoke with other women in the locker room who immediately recognized this woman. Their stories reveal a systemic pattern of bullying: * Member 1 (Asian): Reported that this woman ordered her to vacate a shower stall. When she refused, the woman kicked her gym bag and left. This member now alters her workout schedule specifically to avoid being harassed. * Member 2 (Black): While she was applying lotion in a shower stall, this woman ordered her to leave and finish in the locker room so she could take that specific stall. Like Member 1, she has also postponed her workout times to avoid encountering this individual. * Member 3 (Asian): When she asked to share a swimming lane, this woman refused--even though she was the only person in her lane--and told the member to go swim in a reserved lane where two teenagers were in the middle of training. This individual's reputation for being difficult is well-known. A long-time male member previously told me that if she refused to cooperate or share a lane, I should just wait for his lane instead, as she is known for being notoriously unreasonable. Concerns of Discrimination: Because this woman's aggression has been consistently directed at Asian and Black members, many of us are left questioning her motives. The consensus among those she has targeted is that her behavior is either mentally unstable or racially motivated. It is unacceptable for any member to feel singled out or bullied based on their background. Conclusion: Because these incidents occur in the pool and shower areas, it is impossible for victims to provide video evidence. However, the consistency of these stories--at least five individuals have been harassed or bullied by this same woman--is evidence enough for management to take action. We are all paying members who deserve a workout environment free from verbal abuse and intimidation. Several of us are now considering not renewing our memberships because we no longer feel safe or welcome. LA Fitness, please prioritize the safety of your members over the membership of a known harasser.

A childhood friend of mine died from Staph that was traced back to a dirty gym. So, not having the minimum of disease mitigation is inexcusable. The only good news is that there are other locations, and I am leaving to go to one of those now. I will start avoiding this one, which sucks because I live near by.

I visited Club Studio as part of a fitness ambassador event and had such a great experience…read moreexploring everything they offer. I took their hot yoga class, which was both refreshing and energizing. The instructor was incredibly kind and hands-on with her guidance, making the class enjoyable for all levels. The facility itself has so much to offer! It really feels like a one-stop shop for fitness and wellness. There's a small cafe on-site, which is perfect for grabbing something before or after a workout. They also have multiple pickleball courts, which adds a fun, social element to the experience. My favorite part was definitely the recovery area. They offer cryotherapy, infrared light therapy, compression, and massage chairs. I personally tried the compression therapy and was very satisfied with how it made me feel afterward. Overall, this is an amazing space if you're looking to combine workouts, recovery, and convenience all in one place!

this is gonna be a long one so buckle up…read more LOVE this gym, I paid for the regular membership from opening day along with the recovery lounge. I felt like compared to other gyms it was very clean and the amenities were ones i enjoyed using! they have a beautiful stretching area and all of the equipment is open and spacious. i've taken a ride class with Jamie that was so fun and inviting, even hot yoga classes that feel so refreshing and addicting. front desk staff are welcoming and the Beaming smoothie place being on site is lovely after a hard workout (will be back for that acai bowl) that being said a few months in i am cancelling my membership RELUCTANTLY. I only truly took the pilates reform classes consistently and knew they were not classical based going in. not being able to be in a Shalena class anymore feels like a horrible break up but other than her i have not found another instructor i truly like. i am getting training in pilates instruction and once i started that training it made the club studio format show many flaws. lack of cueing of form, breath, and modifications. you'd think in a class of almost 30 reformers modifications would be a huge part of class but for most instructors i had to modify for myself. i can't imagine someone who is first getting into pilates, who thinks the shakes are normal and don't know how to modify for their own personal struggles, would be able to not risk injury in this set up and style. they do ask in the beginning of the class if anyone has any injuries or limitations but i've been taking pilates for years and never knew i had hyper mobility that needed modifications until recently. not everyone will know their limitations until they get hurt. standing on the reformer happens in nearly every single class (ive taken 30) which is a more advanced skill that should not be in an all levels class often. like i said in the beginning leaving this gym feels like a horrible break up and if you are someone who is trained in pilates and looking for more intermediate to advanced contemporary pilates i think the reform classes are great. i personally can not keep going here knowing what i know about pilates now

When I first became a member here, they had just opened the doors and everything seemed to be cool…read more Overtime I realized this was just going to be another uncapped 24 hour fitness in the making. The staff never gave me any issues, but I think the company set them up for failure for not having protocol for certain things like letting members into the private sauna, or whether or not certain things were out of service or even the upkeep of the bathrooms, which was the nail in the coffin for me The sauna in the bathroom hardly worked, and even though I had the upgraded membership to use the infrared on it, they were never available. The cold plunge's were not kept well and it was just too much hassle to try and use those extra amenities when there's barely anyone there to support The gym floor itself has some decent equipment, but the bench press was very basic and my least favorite . I also never took any classes so I can't give any feedback, but I never really saw classes going on to begin with. The cleanliness was by far the worst. Counters, disgusting, showers a mess, it look like no one ever cleaned, and things were always broken from sinks down to the plumbing just being bad in general. It also just became another photo shoot for a lot of "fitness influencers "and those of us that really like to work out don't want to feel like we are in the way. It says no tripods, but that isn't going to stop anyone because again, the staff really doesn't regulate. My biggest issue is that when I try to cancel considering I was all the way in California they gave me such a hard time and now claim I owe them money that I shouldn't. I would urge you to run in the opposite direction from this gym. You would get just as good service at a 24 hour fitness or in LA fitness. I really thought the price with all included would be worth it and that the gym would at least have a high cleanliness standard because there are other gyms at that same price point that boast about how clean they are so it is possible. I don't see this gym lasting very long if I'm going to be honest.

Disappointed with my experience …read more There were no trash cans in the women's restrooms, and there were at least 2 clogged toilets. I informed the front desk as I was leaving. The wipes are also so incredibly thin, doesn't feel like you're cleaning anything. Everything is kinda just strewn around in the women's only section. I came here with a friend using the free day pass, but I couldn't imagine paying for this experience.

WARNING about cancellation and billing at EōS Fitness…read more If you are thinking about joining this gym, please read this first. My experience trying to cancel my membership has been unbelievably frustrating and feels designed to make cancellation nearly impossible. When I attempted to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel unless I paid a renewal fee that had not even come due yet. In other words, I would have to pay a future renewal fee just to stop my membership. That made absolutely no sense. Because of this, I went into the gym in person to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the General Manager, Chris Marriotti, explained the billing situation, and told him that I had been unable to cancel my membership properly. He told me that both my wife's membership and my membership were canceled and that everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not true. Despite being told in person by the general manager that the memberships were canceled, the gym continues to charge the account and has now even added late fees. The memberships still appear to be active even though we were told everything had been handled. So now I am dealing with charges, late fees, and a membership that was supposed to already be canceled by management. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. When a customer goes in person, speaks to the general manager, and is told everything is resolved, that should be the end of it. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing billing issue. If you are considering joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading the contract very carefully and understanding exactly how their cancellation process works before signing anything.
