WARNING about cancellation and billing at EōS Fitness…read more If you are thinking about joining this gym, please read this first. My experience trying to cancel my membership has been unbelievably frustrating and feels designed to make cancellation nearly impossible. When I attempted to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel unless I paid a renewal fee that had not even come due yet. In other words, I would have to pay a future renewal fee just to stop my membership. That made absolutely no sense. Because of this, I went into the gym in person to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the General Manager, Chris Marriotti, explained the billing situation, and told him that I had been unable to cancel my membership properly. He told me that both my wife's membership and my membership were canceled and that everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not true. Despite being told in person by the general manager that the memberships were canceled, the gym continues to charge the account and has now even added late fees. The memberships still appear to be active even though we were told everything had been handled. So now I am dealing with charges, late fees, and a membership that was supposed to already be canceled by management. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. When a customer goes in person, speaks to the general manager, and is told everything is resolved, that should be the end of it. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing billing issue. If you are considering joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading the contract very carefully and understanding exactly how their cancellation process works before signing anything.

I had Visited this location on three different occasions and the front desk workers were not polite or welcoming. Their names were Mark and Issac. Isaac specifically did not help me when I came to the desk on three different occasions to ask for help with the wireless chargers. He did not even walk over to Help and I ended up having to figure out how to work the machine when he could've just walked over and Gave me a simple hand with the machine. Instead of walking over to me and helping he sat on his personal phone at the front desk. After figuring out how to work the machine on my own I walked over to the desk for a fourth time and let Isaac know how he can help the next person since I figured out the issue but while waiting to speak with him he pretended like he was on the work phone and just held it to his ear while I stood there waiting for him to be done with his "Phone call". Other than that the gym was flawless but the customer service was unfortunately terrible on three different occasions. I did not continue with this location because of the lack of help and unpleasant customer service I experienced. Other than that the gym was flawless

My wife and I are Club4 members and have been for about nine months, and although McKinney is our…read more"home gym", this location has seen some fill-in duty from both of us over the past few months, most recently when the McKinney location had a power issue and couldn't take members. It's a big, well lit, still-has-that-new-smell kind of place, with tons of new equipment and nary an out-of-order sign to be seen on our most recent visit. We only briefly interacted with the staff, and they were friendly and greeted us warmly. I briefly darted into the locker area to use the men's room, it was clean and well stocked. As for the equipment, I'm all about the "put on the headphones and hit the pin-loaded weight machines", and that's what I did. This gym has a couple of machines that our usual one doesn't, so that was a nice change of pace. If there's a downside, there's only one pec fly/deltoid machine, and since it does two exercises, it's always in high demand, and I had to wait for two others to do their reps. The McKinney location has two of these, and there's often still a wait. We also hit the ellipticals for a few minutes to warm up, and they were super clean and new as well. As always, we closed out our workout with the Hydromassage, and even with four chairs, there was a brief wait, but no biggie. Bottom line, this is a super clean, well lit, well managed gym with no judgment and plenty of options for your workout.

Right after signing, the staff realized it was…read moreactually a membership agreement and told me it was a mistake on their end and that they would fix it. I was clearly told not to worry and to go ahead and work out. Now, three months later, I receive a letter saying I owe $112, and suddenly the story is: You signed it, so you have to pay. $150 is not the issue. The issue is accountability. I trusted your staff when they admitted the mistake and assured me it would be corrected. After multiple calls, instead of taking responsibility, I'm being spoken to as if this is my fault for signing something your employee gave me incorrectly. If this isn't dishonest behavior, then what do you call it? Very disappointed in how this was handled. This is not how a professional business operates.

All right Yelp, it's been awhile. I have a love-hate with sharing my favorite places because then…read morethey'll get too busy but dusting off my Yelp review skills because this place really deserves all the hype and kudos. So if you're on the fence, get your popcorn, here we go. I am the queen of workout studio classes - cycling, barre, pilates, HIIT, Orangetheory, F45, Equinox, classpass. Been there, done that. Each studio has their upsides and purpose depending on your fitness goals but at the end of the day, if you're anything like me, each studio loses its glamour due to the repetitive nature of the classes. In comes Madabolic! So you're wondering, how does this differ and why is it great?? 1. The workout does a great job of keeping things fresh - cycling between Durability Days (heavier weight focused at 80% efforts throughout), Momentum (building momentum efforts at 70%, 80% and 90%) and Anaerobic Days (all out 100% HIIT in your face days). Different things going on everyday and don't let the titles "Durability" fool you that it's a specifically a weight lifting day or that "Anaerobic" is strictly a cardio day - all days include a good ratio of both. Trust me, you will be sore (in a good way). 2. The coaches (and the people)! Granted I do 530am workouts where I'm barely awake for half of the class, but everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. Plus if you're a newb like me and working on your form, you actually get assistance with your form and help with modifying your workout if needed. 3. The difficulty. Finally a workout that accommodates both men and women (Couples workout? Day date? Anyone?). Similar to Orangetheory or F45, there are several options for weights depending on your level - but differing in the fact that the weight choices are clearly set by level so you know what to choose without having to guess and have something to build up to if you're looking to BUILD that muscle! 4. All right, the last thing. Let me address the elephant in the room - Boxing. Either you come in loving it or absolutely dreading it. I was definitely the latter. Every class includes it and I had maybe 10 minutes of boxing experience prior to this and hated this circuit so much in the beginning that I constantly considered quitting the studio every time. Hear me out - It grows on you and soon you'll begin to feel like a badass and recognize how great it is for your core and arms - trust me, it could be worse, you could be doing mountain climbers and push-ups everyday to work those muscles .

My ONLY recommendation is to have benches or some type of seating out in the check in area. people who don't like wearing their training shoes to and from their workout can sit and change their shoes. I felt weird sitting on the floor so I balanced and changed shoes standing up. Haha! Walked to the car and changed out of my shoes back into my regular street shoes. No big deal but definitely something to think about!!
