Get ready to kick a** or get your a** kicked! The coaches are awesome. I love how they are all friendly and especially patiently correct my postures to make sure that i do it right AND safely. I was not a gym-goer and used to be uncomfortable around heavy lifting plates even the 5lb ones lol) and the barbell because I thought I wouldn't be able to lift them. Well that changes. It's has been six months now, and i could see lots of improvement in both strength and endurance. Not only they pay attention to you, they also pay attention to keep the gym clean ESPECIALLY during this crazy covid time no sweat puddles, no sticky equipment, and none of the stinky smelly air circulation. This is a great place for folks looking for strength gains and weightlifting beginners. The coaches are well versed and know their stuff and will help you learn how to lift properly. I knocked off one star because the warmup part was always awkward and just weird for me. I went originally to focus on improving strength, and just not interested in some of the very "bootcamp" style warm-up, which is not what I would generally do for a heavy weightlifting session. A 10 minute bike or rower warmup is what I prefer for warmup, compared to a high intensity 200m sprint and high knees and crawling around on the floor (bear crawls?) scenario read more

This is a great gym. The owner Cody and his staff are amazing. Not only do you get an effective workout, but you also acquire proper technique for your lifts. Cody is very knowledgeable and provides modifications as needed. I informed him I got a prior knee injury and he accommodated me nicely. I am know seeing a doctor and he placed restrictions on what I can physically do so I haven't been able to return, but as soon as I get released I plan to do so. Cody makes you feel comfortable and is very patient and kind with all his members. As someone who is in the fitness industry myself, I found Cody to be a breath of fresh air. I have been coming Harter Strength and Conditioning for about a year and worked one-on-one with Cody for awhile. For each exercise/lift, he has taught me the proper form/mechanics to prevent injury while maximizing my results. He helped me set realistic goals to lose weight, and I was able to lose 40lbs in 7 months. He educated me on nutrition but reminded me that I have to put in the work to achieve my goals. While working with Cody one-on-one, I became more involved in the HIIT, LIFT and METCON classes available. At first I was hesitant because I was so out of shape, but the class sizes are small and the coaches are excellent at explaining the exercises. If I could not do an exercise everyone else was doing, the coaches had a modified version. Being involved in the classes has helped me maintain focused on my personal goals. I love coming here. It's hard to put into words how awesome Cody is and all of the trainers here are top notch. The programming is excellent and each class is challenging in its own way. Members are super nice and fun to workout with. Cody and the trainers watch for proper form and are encouraging during workouts (which inspires me to give that extra push to finish strong). Cody Harter is a terrific trainer with a terrific plan. He has made me a better runner, and kept me in shape, while making it fun and interesting. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about helping you achieve your goals. They meticulously design each workout so you are always challenged. I attended my first lift class with Cody about six months ago. I have struggled with knee pain for many years, having four knee surgeries (2 ACL) on the same knee. Being a competitive high school and college athlete this was difficult for me to deal with. I have a history of finding gyms/exercises that works for me and I begin to feel stronger, but then end up injuring my knee again and have to stop working out altogether. I had one doctor tell me that I needed a fifth surgery. In 2015 I injured my knee again and was not able to exercise for several months. Wanting to get back into shape I decided to try out Harter Strength, but I entered with very low hopes based on my previous knee problems/experiences. I can say that I was completely wrong, Cody has changed my life!! My knee has never felt stronger and overall I feel physically and mentally stronger. Cody has been a wealth of knowledge to rehabbing my knee and very supportive and motivating. I have learned which exercises to completely avoid and Cody is able to adapt each exercise for me to receive the same benefit.
