For $300 a month you would think this place is plenty profitable. But no they decided to commandeer one of the basketball courts for some CrossFit. The sheer amount of people in this gym it's just insane they seemingly continue to max out occupancy. It's literally like a zoo in there sometimes. Very glad to be taking my money elsewhere honestly this place was just like a giant spa. I don't think I got a genuine good workout in because every machine is always taken or the place is genuinely overwhelming because there's 200+ people in there. And one other thing the other basketball court you guys so graciously left available is always taken by children like the gym is some daycare. Genuinely one of the most greedy gyms I've ever seen as if $300 a month from every person in there is not enough they then charge even more for classes. Good riddance. read more

$279 per month plus tax plus credit card fee is $310 per month single person. It's clean, nice cafe. Equipment is broken and stays broken for periods of time. There was one of three urinals out of order for a month. People talking on their phones on cardio equipment, wearing slippers working out and kids using equipment. Lack of oversight. Loud classes playing deafening music with instructors yelling at the class makes for a less than peaceful experience. It's nicer than Planet Fitness, but you judge if it's car payment worthy. read more

Starting at $219/month + $99 joining fee, Life Time Frisco is one of the most expensive gyms in the Dallas area. How's the Staff? Everyone is helpful. The amenity? Very well equipped. Cleanliness? The spotless floor is steamed every day. The steam room? It is not an ordinary steam room, it is a eucalyptus steam room! But that is not good enough. 1. The swimming pool is ALWAYS crowded. This location hosts the largest swim practice program in the district from 5-8 PM. Adults wait in the jacuzzi every evening even on the weekend because kids take over every.single.swimming.lane.all.the.time. 2. The swimsuit dryer is broken all the time. This thing is $2K+ and it breaks down and spills every single time I visit. 3. There are a lot of strength training machines, but there is only one of each kind. It feels like a museum of equipment at this point. I barely even know how to change the settings for one machine, and now I have to figure out how to push the levers for something I assume also trains the same muscle group. 4. But there is only one leg press machine. What?! Be prepared to get in line for a leg press. 5. The basketball court: Destroyed after a hurricane in Dallas almost 2 months ago. Until now it is still closed off and smells like paint. 6. For over $200/month, how do high school KIDS afford this place? I thought paying the higher price tag will allow me to NOT see them taking over all equipment. I was wrong every time I visit regardless of the time. After being a member for a few months, this is still not a luxury gym to me. It looks amazing, but it comes with a lot of small inconveniences like that. read more

My experience has enhanced past few years, I am assuming since the management changed over and Cory Hay, who I mentioned in my last view that ran Plano, is actually in charge of this facility now. I have seen him almost daily out and available around the gym. I have found less crowded hours to go there. The childcare has immensely improved to be at par with Plano. We have enjoyed this gym as much as Plano now. read more

This was such a disappointment! What a wonderful facility but the staff totally dropped the ball. I was greeted by a concierge staffer. I explained that I wanted to work out regularly with a personal trainer. After the tour I signed up. While I was still in the gym I got a call from Chad about pickle ball. We made an appointment for the following day. I left an event so that I could get my appointment and Chad was a no show. I rescheduled and they canceled less than 24 hours before the class. I was assigned a personal trainer who recommended I redo a stress test at an additional charge. She gave me a workout to do on my own. I sent her feedback asking for help but it took two weeks to get a response. I went to the desk five times asking for help and they would only call the trainer I tried to replace. This is simply too expensive if they aren't going to assist new members. read more

Never have I been more embarrassed or felt violated in my entire life. About a dozen times I've noticed kids taking pictures of themselves in the locker room shirtless etc for social media or whatever. Always bothered me and the no picture policy in the locker room is never enforced. Then today, around 4:15pm, two teenage boys were taking pics of themselves in the mirror with me completely naked in the background. I told them to stop taking pictures, and they turned around and told me that I (ME!) should have told them I was changing so that they would know and not take pictures. WHAT??? We got into an argument right there in the locker room. I immediately left and told the front desk (AGAIN) about this issue and that today it finally crossed the line. I have canceled my membership. This is just something that is COMPLETELY unacceptable and non-negotiable. NO PICTURES IN THE LOCKER ROOM! read more

Mason is an exceptional trainer! He is very good at listening and tailoring workouts based on each client's needs. He has helped me reach my goals and keep me on track. I think what makes him a good trainer (other than his dedication while explaining and exercising, correcting you, or pushing you to do better) is that you can see he enjoys what he does and has a passion for it, which translates into\ his sessions. This Life Time is gorgeous! I either go to this location, Plano, or Highland Park in Dallas. I'm moving closer to the area end of September and cannot wait! I love the location and all the classes and trainers I've met so far have been wonderful. The gym is always clean and I appreciate the different classes they offer. For those complaining - any gym you go to will be crowded during busy hours and I am always able to use a machine whenever I go :). I cannot see myself working out anywhere else but at a Life Time club. The quality, consistency, and experience is unmatched. read more

Many are teenagers that don't understand common courtesy or manners. I realize they pay and they are members. But leave the phones in your locker. There are some great aspects of belonging to Lifetime. However, something that is a constant disappointment is the lack of cleanliness. It is rather disheartening to arrive at the facility early in the morning only to notice the same hair and trash on the floor in the locker room that was present the day before. The bathrooms, specifically the toilet areas, always seem to be in the same state of disarray no matter what time of day I arrive. I'm also discouraged from attending fitness classes because of the constant presence of dirt and hair on the floor in the studios. I'm very confused as to when the cleaning is being done. While I've been there for several hours at a time I've only observed the workers changing out towels. It is understandable that as the day goes on and people use the facilities it can become untidy. However, I'm speaking of one day to the next noticing the same dirt and hair on the floors. Also we're a family of four and pay around $400 a month for membership dues. After the pandemic that we all experienced I would think places like fitness clubs would still take cleanliness and sanitation seriously instead of doing the bare minimum. I'm seriously considering canceling our membership if the level of cleanliness does not improve. read more

The machines are very subpar and there isn't enough weight stations for their volume... Half of the time their version of CrossFit has a class going on taking up half the space.... Very nice facility, but overcrowded. Long waits for machines. Squat racks are always busy and long waits mainly because of classes. Exiting onto Legacy is always backed up because no one turning left stays to the left so folks turning right need to wait for the light to change. I wanted to give a shout out to concierge Jennifer. From the day we joined the gym she has been amazing. She makes you feel so welcome when you arrive for your workout. She takes time to stop and chat with you and see how your doing. She calls you by your name and that is impressive, as I am sure she sees hundreds of people walk in the door. At first I was skeptical about the price of this club, but I soon realized it was worth every penny. Customer service is indescribably amazing, the amenities are phenomenal, and the quality of the gym is awesome. I have been treated very well by the team at Lifetime Frisco and would like to give a mention to Lilli at the front desk for she has been nothing but awesome. I would not recommend this gym. I just bought a home in Frisco and waited for the opening to walk in and take a look at the new Frisco location. Ms. Flynn came to the counter and I told her how I was interested in joining. Her first words were to quote me "$259" month for you and your wife. My wife says I may be a bum but I don' think I look like one. In fact, I'm an average guy, served in the USAF and 29 yr LE vet, and now a small business owner. I thought at first, is she trying to get me to leave? So I said ok, seems reasonable. And she immediately asked me how I wanted to pay as she moved to her register or computer at the counter to wait for me to hand her a credit card. She did this without ever showing me anything or offering to explain what comes with my membership or to show me the gym what kind of gym I was joining. She didn't think I had the resources to purchase a membership. I was dressed in average sport attire. It's disappointing, both with the treatment at this place and the fact as a grandfather, I have to send a warning out to any other Frisco vet or small business owner. Be careful when you go in, if you come across Ms Flynn or the other sales staff who behave like her. You may have to bite your lip and leave and hope maybe there are other gyms in the area that will treat the other Frisco average Joes' and veterans' with a little more respect. read more
