Omega gym was great! I was visiting a friend in Plano. Dropped in at 9. The trainers and people were super friendly.

Well-equipped gym with great staff!!!!!…read more I've had a very positive experience at LA Fitness. The gym has a wide range of equipment that's usually well maintained, making it easy to get a full workout without feeling crowded. The facility is clean, and the layout is convenient. The staff is professional and approachable, always ready to help when needed. Group classes are well organized and motivating, which adds a lot of value to the membership. Overall, LA Fitness offers a solid fitness environment with everything you need to stay consistent. I'm happy with my experience and would definitely recommend it.

We came around 11 am on a weekday and the gym wasn't busy at all. Large area of machines, a cross training section, free weights and bars, and the upstairs had a myriad of treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, steppers, etc. I also saw a group fitness class happening, there's also a Pilates studio with reformers, and a spin room. I don't know if those are extra but seems as though there's lots of great options to get your fitness groove. Locker room has showers with a hair/body wash. They have saunas and pool. Bring your own towel and locks for the lockers. It's clean but minimally supplied. No hair dryers either. I wish they had a water bottle filling station, only a standard drinking fountain.

WARNING about cancellation and billing at EōS Fitness…read more If you are thinking about joining this gym, please read this first. My experience trying to cancel my membership has been unbelievably frustrating and feels designed to make cancellation nearly impossible. When I attempted to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel unless I paid a renewal fee that had not even come due yet. In other words, I would have to pay a future renewal fee just to stop my membership. That made absolutely no sense. Because of this, I went into the gym in person to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the General Manager, Chris Marriotti, explained the billing situation, and told him that I had been unable to cancel my membership properly. He told me that both my wife's membership and my membership were canceled and that everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not true. Despite being told in person by the general manager that the memberships were canceled, the gym continues to charge the account and has now even added late fees. The memberships still appear to be active even though we were told everything had been handled. So now I am dealing with charges, late fees, and a membership that was supposed to already be canceled by management. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. When a customer goes in person, speaks to the general manager, and is told everything is resolved, that should be the end of it. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing billing issue. If you are considering joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading the contract very carefully and understanding exactly how their cancellation process works before signing anything.

This is an excellent gym. Our family signed up at the Las Colinas location. While the Las…read moreColinas location is nice, it lacks basketball courts. I brought my son to this location (we have a family membership) and he was not allowed on the basketball courts because he is 8 years old. I contacted to General Manager Tricia and she remedied this right away. He is allowed as long as I accompanied him. Overall, this is a nice club. It has plenty of weights, machines, pool, and basketball courts. Some of the reviews have been subpar because it is not as fancy as other Lifetime Gyms. But this gym is less packed and has more weight and machine equipment than some of the fancier counterparts. I often drive further to this location.

I started out paying $50 per month then after Covid it jumped to $70, $100, $111, now it's $123. Wouldn't mind so much but I am paying double for the same thing, if not worse. The machines are old and essentially hand me downs from the Plano, Frisco, and Las Colinas clubs. This location never gets any new equipment. All the new equipment goes to the nicer clubs and Addison gets the equipment those clubs are replacing. Furthermore, when a machine breaks down it will literally take months to fix. By months, I mean 4-5 months sometimes. I had the same step mill (stair machine) collapse underneath me twice almost trapping my leg inside the machine. Quick thinking saved me both times or else I could have snapped my leg like a twig. Some of the stair machines act possessed. You set the machine at a certain activity level and it randomly speeds up and down when it wants to. One day the machine works and another it doesn't. People are leaving the club for nicer ones because the higher ups at lifetime don't care. They refuse to invest any money into the place, opting instead to raise our rates to fund other clubs or expansion. So essentially, I am paying much more so someone at another club can enjoy the experience that I desire? Million dollar question is why haven't I left? Time. I live and work five minutes from the gym. With my hectic work schedule, driving across town after work through traffic to get an hour and a half workout during the week is just not feasible. If they go up on their rates anymore, I will just switch time and traffic be dammed. Truth is the higher ups in Minnesota don't care. They just see profit and losses. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out if you invest in the club, more people will come. At this rate, the club will be empty and it will have to shut down which is maybe what they want. Makes zero sense.

They also had a promotion going on with bring a friend free for Cinco de Mayo weekend. The gym size is smaller than the East Plano location and has fewer equipment options. The free weights and machine areas also feel a bit more compact, with less space between sections. That said, I still like that they're open 24 hours on weekdays. I believe it's the only Crunch Fitness in the area with the flexible hours, probably due to being close to UTD. It's still a solid gym when I'm on this side of town.

The gym itself was clean with good variety of equipment but does get very packed even after 7pm. The cardio equipment is a bit uncomfortable because the phone/tablet holder is way too low. Not good for posture to look down when doing cardio. The real issue with the gym is the false advertising. I assumed a 3 day pass meant 3 days of visits. After my first visit, the front desk worker said it was actually only one day but he gave me guest passes to come back again. When I came back today, I was told that the guest pass is one day only if you are brand new. They immediately asked for a day fee so it seems like a scam to get payment/commitment asap. Attached photos of the email confirmation, sign up page, and guest pass I was given.
