You will not find a cleaner gym in the DFW metroplex. You will always see staff cleaning and that's lead by the owners down to the staff. There are always clean towels and personal hygiene items stocked in the bathrooms, vacuumed floors, and no trash laying around on the gym floor. If you are conscious about that pesky virus, Physiofit has you covered as they keep everything disinfected daily (helps that the owner hates germs Hans) As far as the atmosphere it's not your typical bro gym or your typical big box commercial gym. You will see and meet all types of people with varying goals, from general fitness, rehabilitation, strength training, body building, and even on occasion strongman. All members have always been approachable and always good conversations and there is typically no issue finding someone to help you with a spot if you need one. As far as trainers go, the crew is amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Have a question, you can always reach out any of them and they will help you even if you are not a client of yours. They will also never hassle you to sign up under them. I will always be a loyal Physiofit client and can't say thank you to the crew there for the past 3 years of giving me a home to change my life.

Though I must say, they're dumbbells are kinda crap, lot of em have holes in em and/or are rusty. Also they aren't in order on top of that. They have no where to refill your water, they're cable machine is very janky n damaged. I tried doing behind the back curls with them, but the weight wouldn't go back down due to the damaged cables. The gym also only has a single ez-bar. But they do have plenty of barbells including specialized bars, many of which had locks on them for some strange reason though. They have plenty of plate locks which is very nice, i've been to a few gyms where i have to actively search the entire gym just to find some. This gym does not have that issue whatsoever. So to summarize, I wouldn't recommend this place to your average gym goer. Its really meant for people specializing in powerlifting.

They also have Rogue Olympic Barbells and Rogue Bumper Plates for Olympic Lifters. Many members compete in USAPL and USPA so you are training around people who are actively involved in the DFW Powerlifting community. It offers a large open space, and we had the best birthday party-throwing experience. Kids had a blast doing everything physical, and even the adults had a great time as we participated in daddies vs. kids and mommies tug of a war (pics posted). Absolutely recommend this place and our daughter says she wants to have her next birthday party here again. After class, Rachel gave us a tour of the facility and was incredibly welcoming and friendly, just like the rest of the staff. The gym itself is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. I especially loved the white and tan interior design--it creates a bright, upscale atmosphere. The women's locker room is impressive, featuring lockers for personal belongings, a sauna, and a cold plunge. There are also convenient water refill stations throughout the gym. One of the most unique features is the slide, which definitely adds some personality and fun to the space! There's also an outdoor workout area in the corner for anyone who prefers exercising outside. Overall, Recess offers a great combination of high-quality fitness classes, excellent amenities, and a welcoming community. I would definitely recommend checking it out.
