I have been to Phone Doctors in the past to have a couple iPhone screens replaced. Both times they were able to quickly and efficiently repair them. This time I had an issue with another iPhone of it not being able to charge. I took the phone in and they immediately thought the battery needed replaced. They told me it would take approximately one hour. So after a couple errands I went back and the phone was fixed within the hour and did indeed need the battery replaced. The staff in this particular store were all friendly and professional throughout the process. They opened the door for us upon entering and leaving the store, and offered a bottle of water upon both dropping off and picking up the phone. I would definitely recommend them for any of your phone repair needs! (They also had lower repair cost than my phone provider, and more convenient!) read more

Way too over priced, terrible at communication, and so much more shit. if i could give a 0 i absolutely would. i went in to get my battery fixed since it had been fried from getting water in the charging port. was told it was $60 for the labor and them to even look at it, which was fine. I then waited 3 HOURS, for a call for him to tell me it was my battery which was $60 but they went ahead and changed the front screen, not asking in advance or giving me a heads up, charging me with another $150. They didn't even have the charging port in stock and had to order it which was another 100+. When arriving to pick it up i was told it needed a wireless charger, which i bought through them for $40 and it's worthless. cant use it in the car, any time it got up to 100% it'd quit charging and i'd wake up with an almost dead phone. i spent over $400 to fix this phone. I go in to get the charging port changed, it was two different reps from the previous ones, and had asked for a refund since i never agree upon the screen being fixed. They couldn't get ahold of Dylan (the man fixing the phone), as to which when i left they called me 15 minutes later telling me my phone was ready to pick up and dylan wanted to speak to me about if a refund needed to be received and he wanted to fix the port himself. Finally go in the next day give them my phone, no talks about a refund were mentioned, i was never given a reason as to why the screen was fixed, and when i had picked the phone back up. Dylan was hiding in the back and the other rep brought me my phone where i had noticed a huge chunk had fell out. granted the back of my phone is shattered, there wasn't a huge ass piece missing. I asked what was up with it and i was told something along the lines of it was brought in damaged therefore we didn't do anything, therefore it's not our problem. read more

My mom broke her iPhone 4. The entire glass in the back was shattered so I called to get more info first. The guy on the phone was very nice and informative. He told me everything I wanted to know: they could fix it, it would cost $20 and only takes a couple of minutes. I dropped by during my lunch break. There were no other customers in there. A girl was behind the counter. I awkwardly waited for her to begin the conversation. I finally told her about the phone and why I was there. She was definitely a woman of few words. The only thing she informed me was that I would lose the Apple logo if I fixed it there. I didn't care much about that so I went ahead and got it fixed. The girl proceeded to go in the back. They have a good variety of phone cases and protective gear. There is a waiting area and they have music on so it helps being all alone in there. A guy did come from the back asking if I had been helped. I wished he was the one that had helped me...seemed a bit more friendly. After around 5 minutes, the girl emerged with the fixed phone! I appreciated how fast, efficient, and affordable it all was. read more

Went for a screen repair on a 6s. They assumed I wanted the $30 screen protector (they handed it to me with it on my phone and rang it up, it felt awkward to say no after they were already asking for my card- I get anxiety when others are waiting behind me) and what wasn't supposed to be more than $90 turned into $130, and the screen protector A.) wasn't put on right, any drag of my finger across the screen clicks on any random spot of the screen and B.) dropped it onto a table 4 inches away just days after getting it- the very first time it's dropped and the "screen protector" is already cracked!! Don't waste your money, go to someone who knows what they're doing. read more

Went there a months ago to get my screen replaced on my iPhone XR they said sure be done in about 2 hours so I left cane back and paid and it looked great worked good something felt a little off about it though. Come to find out it's a dud of a screen and for the past 2-3 weeks it's been " ghost touching" and randomly freaking out and touching random things making life ever so much harder. My advice. Skip this place unless you need simple things like phone accessories. Need something serious done? Take it to people who know what they're doing. I mean I even got my phone back and the screen wasn't even popped back in all the way. Like that's the last step. 0/10 if I could. read more

Took my iPhone in for simple screen repair. Pre pay up front $120 for a simple screen repair. When I returned to pick my phone up I'm greeted with "oh are you the guy who's phone we can't fix?" To which I responded "I hope not, I was just getting my screen replaced" next they proceed to retrieve my phone and it turns out that they repaired my screen but in the process got it stuck into some sort of "boot repair mode" and it is just flashing on and off with the apple logo, that is all my phone could do. Then they proceed to tell me I can keep the screen, or get a refund and get my old screen put back on but I would have to wait because the tech just went to lunch.... I got my full refund and keep the screen bc this is bs. took my phone to apple afterwards and had them attempt to reset my phone, upon further inspection by someone who knows that they are doing with an iPhone, he discovered the phone is bent like someone forcefully shoved the screen into the phone, and then the hard reset does not work, and my phone is stuck, so now I have a dead phone, and must go buy a new one. Do not go to this place, there was already an upset customer there when I was dropping my phone off, I should have taken that as a warning sign right then and there bc he was having a similar issue where he had a phone that did not work after they did whatever to his phone. Ondre was the guy that took my phone, and my money, then gave me back a broken not working dead phone. Thank you phone doctors, you guys should definitely pay to replace my iPhone as you guys broke it. It was working beyond great, I just wanted a new screen as mine had a minor crack in the corner. Paid over $150 a year ago for iPhone screen repair with warranty (lifetime via "insured gadgets." Last Friday my screen shattered again so of course I took it back to phone doctors. Had to pay $75 out of pocket for the repair and then send in a claim to "insured gadgets." Got home Friday evening, put my Lifeproof case on and suddenly my screen goes fuzzy and is blacked out across the left side. Took it back to phone doctors who said I'd have to pay another $75 to put another PIECE OF CRAP SCREEN ON... Apparently, their crappy replacement isn't durable enough to apply a phone case. I said FORGET IT... I'm going to BestBuy! read more

Very Greedy!! Went in there less than 90 days ago, bought a new screen (that had digital defects) plus a screen protector PLUS a warranty if that screen protector breaks. The first time the screen protector cracked it shattered my screen below it. Brought it in and they told us tough luck & that if we would have brought the screen in to be fixed before we crack it (due to digital defects) but since we didn't and came in when the phone cracked (through the screen protector that I bought and paid an extra $40 warranty for) they would not even give us a discount on fixing it. What was the point in paying $100 for jacked up screen plus another $70 for screen protector and warranty? Was asked to pay $130 today to get it fixed. I do not understand. And I'm still under at 90 day warranty. So disappointed have been with this company for MANY MANY years and this is how we got treated. Will never use this company again!! ONE STAR!! The Phone Doctor is under new ownership. They are the worst. I took my daughters iPad in on a Thursday they told me it would be ready by Saturday late afternoon because they are in the process of changing ownership. I went by Saturday and it wasn't ready and they told me they think the charging port was bad and they are waiting on the part. Monday came and I called. The number was always busy. Called Tuesday and they said the part has to be soldered and wouldn't be ready until Wednesday. Wednesday nothing. Thursday I went by and they said the screen was cracked and they were going to get a new one. Friday they said they were waiting on a screen and it should be ready by the evening and they would call. No call. Saturday an extremely rude guy said the charging port still wasn't working and they had no idea when they would get to it. My husband went in and ended up getting the iPad back without it being repaired. The screen wasn't the right screen and when we took it to another place they said whoever had it before butchered the inside. They didn't even want to try to fix it. So now I have a $1000 IPad Pro worth nothing. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I had went here to look around for a new phone. Had a Motorola photon and a 32g iPhone 4 to trade in for something better. After trading in both phones and paying 178 dollars on top of them I walked out with a Motorola photon q 4g lte. A few days rolled by and the phone no longer turned on or would respond to the power button what so ever. These things happen with used phones and I understand that so I took it back up there to see what the had to say about repairing it. After them stating that the photon q was a sealed phone (it isn't) and that since the battery cover had been removed then the phone would no longer work. I'm not an idiot, a phone with a slide out keyboard can not be a sealed phone. If it was, how would the sliding mechanisms be serviced in the event they fail? But I digress. They then tried to tell me it was a defective phone and that they would have to look for and order a part that could take 7-14 days to come in to fix the problem. They tried to push a Samsung galaxy s on me saying that it was similar. The only similarity being that it had a physical keyboard and the specs were half of that of the phone I had purchased. Next they offered an iPhone 4 8g. Really? Had I wanted the iPhone I would have just kept the one I traded in. Very reluctantly I accepted the iPhone as temporary until any further news came on the photon q. The iPhone had a discoloration on the screen and the offered to fix it the next day, cool I said. Next day I return and an hour later it was fixed... But the front facing camera no longer works. After a half assed apology from one the clerks I have decided its just better to avoid this place in any way shape or form. Either they are lying to me in order to re sell the phone or they really don't know jack about phones. Either way they will never see another dime from me. read more

Worst customer service ever! Took my phone in for new screen on Fri. Had to prepay and was told it would be in Mon. to come in. Arrived Mon. morning told part didn't come and would be there Tues. Arrived Tues. part was there and phone be ready Wed. Arrived Wed. morning was told part defective but new part in that day come back at 5pm. Arrived 530 was told part didn't arrive. At this time I voiced my frustration and was told by Christian that "I needed to calm down". I then heard about China, Hong Kong, and shipments and was told I had a choice to not let them do the repairs. Of course at my phone was taken apart and non-functioning and I had to prepay. Christian was going to personally pick up part Thurs. and my phone would be ready by 1130. Arrived 1130 phone was ready but when it was turned on the screen was black. Told that someone would have to check it out and I would need to come back. Thurs. night finally received a repaired phone. An apology goes a long was. At no time during my six trips back did I receive one. Instead all I got was a lot of excuses, told I needed to calm down, and told that I could take my business elsewhere. I dealt with the manager at drop off and a nice young lady when at pick up. Both were super helpful and friendly. The interior of the store is really nice and the location works for me. They think they are actual doctors. I needed a cracked screen replaced for my iPhone 6. When I asked if they could fix it, a guy with latex gloves examined it and said yes he could fix the screen but that the phone itself was warped and slightly bent, probably from the fall. I told them I didn't see a bend in the phone and it didn't even look bended. Another associate asked if it had fallen off a roof or something? I told him it fell off something higher than a roof. They proceeded to tell me if they fixed the screen the new one might not stick because of the "slight bend" in my phone since the drop was so high. So they would fix it but not give me a warranty on the new screen. I took my phone and left. .....I actually dropped my phone out of my pocket while sitting in a chair!!! A 2 feet drop at most....My phone was perfectly straight. I took it across the street to phone geek and they repaired my iPhone 6 in 3 hours with a warranty (because there was no "slight bend"in my phone) for the same price. read more

Basically we purchased a phone at their Jenks location. It took an afternoon and an entire night to get the new iPhone 6 completely downloaded and working. My husband took my old iPhone 6 which after clearing my info off of it, they promptly downloaded all my info back onto it instead of his info from his old phone. So we had to wait for that to be corrected. The iPhone 6 they gave me failed after one day. We took it back, they said it was just the battery. Changed it out...a day later nothing had changed phone continued to constantly shut down. Took it back again, day four, they gave me another new iPhone 6 that took another afternoon and overnight to download. We were told we could pick it up in the morning. Got there an hour after they opened and no one was around, store was temporarily closed and no notice or sign as to when someone would be back. My biggest complaint was that their site states "To love our customers in such a way that it transforms their day and the people they touch thereafter." "Love people, be positive and optimistic, deliver WOW customer service." Other than Eli, who was the first person to help us, the other employees were neither friendly or courteous or in any way delivering "WOW" customer service. They were doing their job and that's it. This includes Adam in their customer service department. After getting to the unopened store on the 5th day, I called their customer service line out of exasperation. Instead of apologizing for my unfortunate experience, in so many words, he promptly turned the situation around and made us feel sheepish and foolish for even bothering him. He asked us "sarcastically" what we wanted him to do about it. Seriously? He then offered us a $50 gift card to which we declined as now it wasn't about the money, it was about their poor customer relations. Including his!! As a manager of all the area stores, shame on him! We do have a working phone, they made good on that, but there was defiantly no "WOW" service involved. read more

I went to the 71st St. store for the first time on a Friday afternoon because of a distorted phone. Employees were polite, diagnosed the problem as a swelled battery, and told me that they would be able to replace the battery on Saturday morning. I went there for the 2nd time on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to have the battery replaced. They told me to return at 12:00 to pick up the phone. I went there for the 3rd time after 12:00 to get my phone. After I waited for 25 minutes, they told me that the battery had broken when they were trying to install it and that the only battery that they had was a used battery that they had taken out of another phone. They would sell that to me for the same price as a new battery, and it would have a 1-year warranty. I told them that I wanted a new battery and asked them to try to find a new battery in a different store. No other Phone Doctor store had a new battery. I could not use my phone to call other stores because my phone had been taken apart. I left the store to drive to other stores to try to find a new battery. The employee came out to the parking lot and told me that they could put the used battery in my phone and that they would replace it with a new battery on Tuesday after 5:00. They had me pay for the battery at that time. I went to the store for the 4th time on Tuesday evening. After I waited for some time, another employee told me that the new battery had not come in. No one had called me to tell me that and save me a useless trip into the store. She then told me that the used battery was an OEM battery and that it would work better than any after market battery that they could put in my phone. She said that the price is the same for both the new and used battery and again stressed the 1-year warranty. So, I paid for a new battery but received a used battery. I will be checking into other options at other phone repair shops. read more

My wife told me the one thing that she really wanted for her birthday was the shattered display on her Nexus 7 replaced. So I set off on a mission to have this done. Phonedoctors was the first place to pop up on Google for nearby repair shops. The following account is how my experience went: Tuesday phone call: They indicated they had the screen in the warehouse and could replace it in 2 hours (which he said was giving his technician plenty of time to do the repair). Was quoted $129.99 to replace the screen. (skip a few days due to single car family, car emergency and wanting to keep it a surprise for my wife). Friday drop off: Indicated they would have it ready for me to pick up end of day Saturday, which seemed odd since it was a 2 hour process. The drop off process took about 20 minutes since they had to be sure they had the correct screen type since there were 2 versions of the N7. They indicated they had the correct version. Saturday 4pm: Not ready yet, They had the wrong screen, and it was "throwing some additional errors". They will call on Monday when it's complete. Sunday: closed for Easter (I'm ok with that, just an fyi) Monday: No phone call all day long. Call at 4pm. Tablet still not ready. Couldn't tell me why or if it would be complete by the end of the day. Remember that this was for a birthday gift. I was originally told done by Saturday evening. Monday was the birthday the gift was for. Tuesday: Went by to pick it up at close of day Tuesday. Still was not complete. They claimed they put the screen on and it was defective (this is important, remember this). Took my tablet, still broken, and went home. Did 30 minutes of research and ordered the proper screen for $65. It's shipped from China, but hey the birthday surprise is already blown now so it can wait. Screen arrives, I open the back of the tablet and it is untouched. The warranty seals were never removed. The heat sink covering the GPU was untouched, the locking tape covering the flex cables were undisturbed from the last time I had it open. How did they test a screen without disturbing any of this you ask? Good question. While I can't say for sure that they were lying about ever even being capable of a 2 hour turn around time and that they did indeed get 2 incorrect screens and 1 defective screen, I can safely say that they did not live up to Rule #1 on their wall next to the tech entrance: They definitely did not WOW me with their customer service. 1.5 hours of work later I have my wife's birthday present ready... 1 week later. YMMV, but if you can follow directions on youtube, do yourself a favor and do that instead. read more
