I took my IPad to Phone Doctors because it was no longer charging in September 2024. They kept it for over a month before it was repaired. It is now back to the same issue of not charging. Cracked the ol iPad screen this week. It's my work horse, so I might have been in panic mode. Called the store, Jeff shot me a price and said up to 48 hours... then I cried... told him I needed ASAP. My man Jeff said to bring it in now and he'd punch it out within 24 hours... dude called me in 3 hours!!! I know a business can't always bend over backwards like this... but Phone Doctors was able to today... and they are absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! They assured me they were using apple parts to repair my phone. Now the phone has ghost touch. When I took to Apple to fix, they told me the display had been replaced with non-apple parts. Took my iPhone 6+ in for a screen replacement. Screen was fixed phone functioned ok for a few days then the fingerprint sensor stopped working. Brought it back they said they fixed it and that it was a software issue. So they flashed the phone and as soon as I pick it up the second screen says the Touch ID setup failed. Waste of 100$ never will use them again only reason I tried them was bc the apple stores closed due to Covid. Don't waste your money go through apple. read more

I took my three weeks old iPhone11 to be looked by Phone Doctors in midtown Tulsa. Day before, phone fell from chair and dented the power button. I could not turn on the phone or reset. I did not have AppleCare so Apple could not help but sell me new phone. Technician, Robert, called me in few hrs and said power button is jammed and software was crashed. He reloaded the software, gave virtual button and made phone live again!!!!!!!!! I could not thank Robert enough to save me $800 and he did all this at no cost, wow......... Wanted to get my A32 5G phone repaired, needed new screen digitizer and frame. Called a week ago and was told that it needed to be ordered. So I had them order it, so I called today before I drove 50 miles to see if they had the part in because they told me it would take a week and I could just bring my phone in when I'm ready. Never go back Crazy rude I went in 71st store yesterday because my touch screen wasn't working in the center of my iPhone 10. The girl took one look at it and said "you dropped It" I had not dropped it !!!!!!!!! Phone doctor had replaced the screen in this phone several months ago and honestly the thought of warranty hadn't even crossed my mind, I went in planning to pay for a replacement then realizing my screen IS under warranty. She repeatedly said "you dropped it and its not covered under warranty and were out of stock on that screen at ALL of our locations". I asked how long before got one she said maybe by Saturday (this was on a Monday). Christian music blaring in the background as I'm getting a little heated. I'm listing to this girl basically say get out we don't want your business, essentially because she thought I wanted something free (WHICH I DID NOT) A manager Aaron stepped around the corner and I asked why this girl say it will take a week to get a iPhone 10 screen, he then said they could probably get one the next day. I left, called another location and they told me the 71st had TWO iPhone 10s screens in stock. I then had my daughter call to double check, the lady told her they had them in stock. Disappointed. This company is mainly for iPhones and Galaxy's. Since those are the most mainstream phones, it makes sense. First time I went in there, I wanted them to fix my Nokia c2-01 but they basically only specialize in smart phones. So a month ago, I paid to get my Nokia 1020 fixed (New charge port and new battery) and it took a month to get fixed. Just got it back today. It wasn't exactly their fault though. The company that was supposed to send the charge port, lost it in the mail twice and then sent it to a different Phone Doctors that needed one. I bet if I had a iPhone or some type of Android, the warehouse wouldn't have screwed up. By calling, I learned all this information. Because I had waited so long, they refunded me the charge port even though the DID get it fixed. Thanks guys for fixing my phone. read more

TERRIBLE Customer Service. Unfortunately, the scale does not go below a "1", otherwise, it wouldn't even be a "1". I have an iPhone 7 with a cracked screen. Got $100 for Christmas to get it fixed. Took it to the 41st/Sheridan Phone Doctors last SAT morning. Cameron G handed me a ticket to sign for $104.99 and told me it would be a couple hours to repair, & I would pay then. Gave them a # to contact me when finished.....never heard from them. Late that afternoon, I called & was told it was ready. Picked it up, & was handed another ticket for $113.80. I asked what the difference was & the response was "taxes". Didn't think much of it, but had to split it between credit card & cash, because I had $104 on me, but not $113. I get a call from a buddy while sitting in the Phone Doctor parking lot, that got dropped about a minute into the call......it goes into a reboot sequence, and when the screen comes back, the battery is alternating between 1% and 35%, ultimately settling at 35%. I plug it into the charger & head home, thinking it probably just needs a full charge. I place a call shortly thereafter, and it again drops out about a minute into the call & proceeds to reboot again. It is after hours at this point, so I have to wait til MON to take it back to Phone Doctors. I drop it off on MON & explain that with the new screen, it appears to be stuck in a reboot sequence, anytime the phone is used. Cameron G checks it in & gives me a "Warranty Repair" ticket, says they'll call me when it's done. I assume a "Warranty" repair will not cost me any additional money, which ends up being an incorrect assumption. The Tech calls an hour or so later & says he replaced the battery & it now works. I mention that the battery worked just fine with the cracked screen, but he says the battery showed "No Data" on the diagnostic test, & that replacing the battery worked. I was put on hold when I asked if I now owe more money.......only to be told that I was responsible for the cost of the new battery. Went in on my lunchbreak & had a spirited discussion with Cameron G, about how my phone worked perfectly fine with the existing battery & how this "auto reboot" issue did not exist, prior to the installation of the after-market replacement screen. (Apple only allows OEM screens to Apple stores). The Tech admitted that he noticed the battery indicator ranging between values during diagnostics, but it "appeared to work after placing it on the charger. The new battery, which I now need to be compatible with the new screen is an additional $55.00. I offer to pay 1/2 of that, if Phone Doctors will pick up the other half........Cameron G refuses, saying they fixed the cracked screen that it was brought in for, and seems incredulous that I feel they bear some responsibility for not diagnosing the battery problem on SAT. He equates it to a car repair shop that only fixes what was wrong with the car when it was brought in. I rebut that claim, saying that a car repair shop runs a complete diagnostic & tells me EVERYTHING that is in the error codes before fixing ANY of it, allowing me to pick & choose what I want to fix now or later. My options are: 1) pay the additional $55.00 on top of the $113 I've already paid to once again have a fully functional phone 2) Have the original battery put back in, rendering use of the phone only in 1 minute increments, before auto-reboot 3) Put the original cracked screen & original battery back on, pay a $15.75 Restocking fee, and go my merry way After initially choosing Option 1, and stewing for a minute or two, I quickly change my mind to Option 3......cause "screw them". Yes, it cost me $15.75 to lose 2 days worth of using my phone, only to get my old, cracked screen back, but the phone is at least in working order! When I came back to pick it up, I asked: "So, just to be clear.......you're willing to let a disgruntled customer walk out the door and skewer you on an online review over $27.50....because I'm willing to pay 1/2 of the additional battery charge. They were able to get me in and right out and since there was a warranty on my phone they just adjusted something in my phone and sent me on my way free of charge. Honest, reliable, solid and timely work every single time I have been in. All this after waiting 45 minutes at the AT&T store to not even get looked at. I recommended this particular store for whatever brand or need you have.. So far I have yet to be let down! Took my phone into Apple because it wouldn't charge. My "Genius" was very helpful doing diagnostics and cleaned my port charger and pin pointed the issue that it needed to be replaced. She said they don't do port replacements and I could trade my phone in and get a phone with half of the memory as mine for 300 dollars. I quickly went onto their MacBook laptop in front of me and googled replacing iPhone 6 port charger and boom numerous results came up. I told her no thanks I'm going to go to Phone Docs and see if they can fix it for 50 bucks. I arrive to phone docs and tell them the situation it needs a new port charger. He responds, "Well let's try and clean it out first." I told him Don't bother the trusty people at Apple tried and it didn't work and they assured me it needed to be replaced. 30 seconds goes by and boom he cleans the port and it works and they did it for free. I took my daughter's tablet in to have it looked at, it wasn't taking a charge. After 3 days, I still didn't have a call with any info on the repair or if it was ready. Called them and was told it was ready so I went to get it and they said it couldn't be fixed. Initially I was told it probably needed the charge port soldered back in place, or the port replaced but then they "couldn't fix it". Another repair facility had it a day and it turned out to be corrosion on the charge port which tells me that Phone Doctors didn't even open it up to look at it. Very disappointed. read more

Took in my I pad on 5/9/17 waited while Mario searched the computer for a needed part?, a record of my previous visits? Don't know. After two conferences with his manager he told me it would be ready the next day after they got the part needed. Fine. I waited a further day and called to be sure it was ready. When I returned to pick it up two employees were conversing with another customer, one employee left the front and I assumed he would return; no such luck. I sat and waited and finally the other customer apologized to me for my wait. The employee tells me he guesses the other employee is in the bathroom. Finally, Mario, comes from somewhere and acknowledges that I have called and, yes, my laptop is ready. He gets on the computer, finds a problem and disappears to talk to his manager. At any time after he left the counter he could have returned to tell me the problem. He did not. After I waited and then signaled through the window that I was still there, he held up a finger to indicate it will be just a minute. Had it not already been 20 between the two waits I would not have been quite so puzzled. When I asked the problem Mario defensively told me there was no problem. When I pointed out I had waited for 20 minutes, he told me I had not waited that long. So much for customer service. My I pad appears to have been fixed but I will be sure to go to another site next time. read more

About a year ago I took my LG G2 to have screen replaced. I dropped and shattered it. They were nice. It took 2 or 3 days more than they quoted. Had to order glass for my phone b/c of cell carrier (diff than standard). Rec the wrong one and wait for 2nd one. Seemed ok when I picked it up but tried to check everything before I drove off. Kind of a half-assed rush job, maybe b/c I was waiting for it. Went back in 3 diff times to get it corrected. Sim card not set right, not recognized. 2nd time no sound from speaker. 3rd time cover not closed & pinching cable. I think they used poor replacement screen, def not original glass. Never fit right esp the bezel. Original was Gorilla Glass and this one isn't. It is hard to clean...gets really smeary. Now that I've had it a while it has a lot of scratches on it and screen is loose. Kleenex scratches it! Old one had 1 scratch, had it a year. Probably wouldn't go back. Spent $120, less than cost of replacing phone. read more
