1st Vacation Since COVID-19 and it was needed and enjoyed. The hotel is practicing social distancing and cleaning throughout the common areas daily. Masks are required, especially on elevators, and encouraged throughout the complex. The amenities are well kept and nice. Remember to bring your own toiletries and swimming items. Only one minor thing... watch your step when accessing the balcony from your room.

We have stayed in several of the Phoenix condos over the years. The Condos are nice. You know what to expect. They are beach condos. This time our room was nice but was starting to look dated but beautiful still. (7117) The previous guests had left the patio door open and there were a bunch of gnats with us that stayed most of the week . The patio door lock didn't work and it was two days before it got fixed. The central air filter was FILTHY. (I saw it by accident right before we left.) We had to have maintenance come and open the couch because it was sticking.- But they came quickly and fixed it. The upside of the stay: The pool was AWESOME! The service we received from housekeeping and the front desk...AWESOME!! The lobby was well kept. The grills were in great working order. The parking security were so friendly. We always had hot water and comfortable beds! We had plenty of parking. The condo, even though dated was very clean. The location was great! We will stay in Phoenix VII again. I'll check the air filter when we arrive next time. We will probably pick a different room that's been updated. We do love staying with Brett Robinson Realty in the Phoenix Condos. The amenities are nice and the Condo kitchens well stocked with utensils. The view is priceless! And we love the quiet family friendly atmosphere.

We are currently in unit 71001 and it is disgusting! Nothing has been cleaned, there is mold in bathroom, dirt all along walls, doors, sand all over floors, patio doors are broken, blinds are broken, laundry room doors broken, disposal broken, no sheets for pull out bed, sand in blankets in closet, only one lamp in unit works.....just on and on everywhere you look. Only thing good good is the view from balcony & pools. Will never stay here again! Do not waste this type of money here. We have stayed at several offer condos in orange Beach and nothing has been this disgusting and a total waste of money and made our family trip so much less enjoyable. Also more money spent not having to be in condo as much as possible.

Positives: great venue, location, amenities (hot tub and grill on the balcony) etc. The cleaning crew is constantly working in the elevators, hallways, and in public spaces which often goes overlooked but we really appreciate it. Areas for improvement: The front desk folks need training. Every time we stopped by it was a new face...some friendly, some not. Mostly they just struggled with answering basic resort questions from us and others inquired. "How do we rent chairs at the beach?" The young lady said, "sorry i don't know." I called to check on how to use the putt putt activity. Another young voice said "you just putt the ball on the grass and hit it." I laughed, "no sorry i need to check out equipment for it right?" She said, "you can look at it first if you want." So I responded, "do you have putters and balls that i can use?" She said, "yes". I responded "how do i do that?" She said "its free to use." I asked "where do i get the equipment?" She said "at the desk". I get to the desk and they tell me "i must leave my driver license to check out equipment." That would have been nice to know before I came down, . I used to manage a community center so i get it. We just laughed it off, but some people won't so heads up!

Oh and I will Not to forget that The Resort is Beautiful and Staff, Friendly. We plan on Making it a Yearly, and Maybe a couple of times a Year, Same Room, Same Length of time!(Though we extended a day this stay LOL) We were just in our Zone, but realized One day Extension would be enough, as we had to get back home!

This review is for unit 2044 At Phoenix East II. In this review, I will discuss both the property…read moreand the individual unit. I will review the unit's management company separately. My family loves to visit the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. We took a spring break trip and stayed here. I'm giving the unit three stars because while it wasn't a bad place to stay, we've stayed in better. Let me start with the property. Phoenix owns a lot of buildings here and one of my usual complaints is the "parking fee". I mean, really? Couldn't that just be included in the rent of the unit? It's a little ridiculous. My favorite part was that one night I forgot to leave the parking pass on the dashboard. So, overnight the rent-a-cops left two "warning tickets" on my windshield. Two because I might not have seen the first one. (insert eye roll here). The building was in pretty good shape. Not sure what was wrong with the garbage chute. It was working the first couple of days we were there and then it was marked "closed" and the doors were locked. We had to lug our garbage down the first floor. The best thing about this unit was the view, even from the fourth floor, you had a fantastic view of the beach and ocean. You can watch the boats go in and out of the pass to the bay. We enjoyed our time on the beach, and sometimes, I just enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We were there during spring break and the beach really wasn't all that crowded. You could go any time of the day and get a nice place to roll out your beach towel. If you'd like, you can rent chairs and an umbrella for $40 per day. There's a discount if you do multiple consecutive days. If you need a break from the beach, there are two pools on property at this specific building, one indoor and one outdoor. We spent all our pool time at the outdoor pool. Now on to the unit, it was clean and comfortable. The living room was comfortable, but I feel like furniture has already seen it's best days. The pictures on were on the management company's website looked pretty nice. Since those pictures were taken, someone has really gone overboard on the beach theme here. Check the pictures for all of the fish and other sea creatures on the wall. The kitchen had obviously been recently been renovated. There were plenty of dishes, cups, and utensils. The master bedroom was bit narrow. You have to be careful going around the the bed to the side nearest the balcony door, there's not much space between the bed and the dresser. That dresser is mostly useless as the drawers are not really big. Another issue we ran into is that there are knick-knacks on every horizontal surface in this place. They really get in the way of places to put our things. The second bedroom had a flip-flop explosion, unfortunately I didn't ge a picture of it, but you can see pictures online. The beds in both rooms were pretty comfortable. The bathrooms looked nice. My only complaint was the shower. I'm 6'3" and I can't get under the shower head to wash my hair. I had to twist and tilt my head to wash my hair properly. The in-room wifi was good, never had a single issue even with all our devices. The air conditioner ran nice and cold. The only issue with that was the system that detects if the doors are open. When the wind blows hard, the front door will show as being "open" and it turns the A/C off. You don't even realize it until it starts getting warm in the unit. The weirdest thing about this unit was the number of signs that were put up around the place. There were signs explaining how things work, signs telling us what to do and not to do, and signs blaming damage on a previous renter. See my pictures for some of the examples. Not really a good feeling that we're not trusted to take care of the place. Would I stay in this building again? Yes. Would I pick this unit again? Maybe... but only if it was a last resort

The condo was well equipped, just needed to bring our clothes, beach towels, toiletries, cleaning necessities for laundry and kitchen, and food. The twin beds in the kids room were comfortable enough, as was the queen in the second bedroom. The master bedroom was beautiful and spacious, but the bed was unbearable. The king bed was hard as a rock. We actually decided to pack up and go home early due to the bed. My husband and I were in pain most of the trip due to the hardness/stiffness of the bed. When I say hard as a rock, I mean this bed did not move. It was like sitting on a wall. I would love to stay in the unit again if the master bedroom was a different bed. I love a firm bed with some softness on top. This could have used a mattress topper and we went to buy one, but the topper we found was $120 and we didn't feel like that was a purchase we should have made. Overall though, this is a great family friendly resort with amazing views.

Liquid Life + Martinique on the Gulf HOA = renter beware…read more Our stay at Coconut Cabaret had significant issues that made the experience frustrating and, at times, uncomfortable: 1. parking passes. They didn't give us what was requested and then proceeded to ticket us for not having them. (day 1-2) 2. golf cart. The house came with a golf cart and in fact was a key amenity for our group. They took an opportunity to take the golf cart from our teen(of driving age) on day 2. Then proceeded to tell us different reasons as to why they took it and gave us different responses as to when we'd get it returned. They never returned it during our stay. (day 2) 3. Scheduled visitor. A pest company. We were notified that a pest control visit would occur, but other than the time slot, no details were provided . The technician required access to bedrooms and the attic, forcing us to move personal belongings. It was unclear what work was actually performed. (day 3) 4. Unscheduled visitors. A plumber. While away visiting family in the area, they disconnected the kitchen sink and water to kitchen. We encountered the plumber mid-work only because we forgot some supplies at the house otherwise we literally would have returned to the mess that evening. No one ever said a word about this. We were left without a functioning sink for over 24 hours. (day 4) A pest company. Yet another pest company shows up. We were not alerted to it, so we declined this visit for safety reasons. The plumber returns over 1.5 days later. The plumber returned shockingly. With the sheer lack of competence experienced with these companies so far, we expected to ride the week out sink less. When there, he looks and says he'd be back, returns a couple hours later, and finishes job. He entered and exited house with no communication, no knock, just shows up, walks in, walks out. (day 5) 5. Security ticketing/fines. Security might be another party involved in this web of strange behavior. Who knows what you'd get ticketed for in this place. As mentioned before, we were missing parking passes (100 each) and one car parked on sand (50). The fine didn't fit the crime so to speak. They seemed especially high. There should be a list of rules in the home for reference. It can be difficult to know what could get you ticketed. But I guess having a list of rules would decrease the attempt to get money from unsuspecting renters. Overall, this pattern of unannounced entries and overreach created a sense of discomfort and lack of security throughout our stay. We felt the need to remain constantly alert and avoided leaving the property unattended for extended periods. The home itself has potential--it is spacious, well-located, and suitable for large groups--but it appears poorly managed and in need of maintenance and cleaning. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this property or this management company either. The lack of communication, coordination, and respect for guest privacy significantly impacted our stay.
