We got Married on the Beach there in 2024 and went back for our Anniversary this year 2025. When we went on our Wedding, The Resort, had not Acknowledge that It had Wedding and Honeymooners there, However a Manager Realized it on our 5th day there, and Apologized and sent up Champagne and Parting Gifts to take home with us. We thought that was Very Thoughtful! (My hubby misplaced her card, so I can't recall her name, but I Pray she sees this, if so, I want to say THANK YOU!!) It was still Just as Peaceful, Beautiful, With Awe-Inspiring Views! The Sunrise and Sunset views, Simply Magical. We like to get the LARGE sweet... Well, because we simply Like to. Each stay was an 8 day stay, and it always seems To Fly By, but I guess Magical TIMES usually do. The rooms are Clean, Spacious, Nicely Decorated and we are pretty much, are there in our Own World, until we Exit, as we Desire it! Oh and I will Not to forget that The Resort is Beautiful and Staff, Friendly. We plan on Making it a Yearly, and Maybe a couple of times a Year, Same Room, Same Length of time!(Though we extended a day this stay LOL) We were just in our Zone, but realized One day Extension would be enough, as we had to get back home! read more

Another perfect couples getaway at the only place you should stay for your vacation. They have so much to offer from multiple pools to tennis courts to daily activities. The size of the 3 bedroom unit is amazing and the expansive balconies w/grills and hot tubs are just over the top. Super quiet and made for families to just be together. Every amenity is spotless and super clean. The staff are always friendly and prompt. They have heated the lazy river pool during the cooler days and that was the bomb for us adults to chill out. Make sure you book with spectrum as they have a free breakfast buffet daily. We can't wait to go back in September! read more

This is a dreamy condo spot right on the beach. We decided to go here on the off season. Rates are slightly less expensive than the regular price point for these upscale rentals in the beginning of May. I really enjoyed the ocean view, roar of the water and salty air from the balcony. There is a hot tub, grill, a table that sits 6 people and a couple of loungers for every condo rental. It's peaceful out on the balcony and private. It's amazing when you look down. The sandy beach is so white. I didn't think Alabama had beaches like this. Truly stunning. The amenities are equal to basically having your own fancy condo/apartment home. This place has everything. Fully furnished and basics for the kitchen (pots, pans, flatware, dinner wares, sheet pans etc). What was supreme was the wine refrigerator and mice machine at the wet bar. Also equipped with a Cuisinart blender. Party time! There is also a laundry room. Convenient if you're on a long stay. The rooms themselves are spacious. The master bedroom had a shower that can fit 6 adults. 6 adults! We aren't into that so we're just guessing, but I'm sure it's an accurate guess. The master bath also has a jacuzzi jet bathtub that seats two people. There are head rests and different settings for the jets. Walk in closet that is gigantic comes with some hangers and extra blankets. In the room itself, there's a patio door to the balcony. The king bed is so comfortable, enough to ensure a good nights rest. Very nice. And every room has a tv. Even the kid's rooms. Turquoise Place has a couple of indoor pools, a few outdoor pools and tennis courts. Also cornhole, giant chess and giant checker games next to the tiki bar. What was a total disappointment was the fact that the lazy river was under construction. Before we decided to book, we were told how this hotel had one. The booking agent failed to tell us it wasn't operational. This was one of the reasons why we booked this place. Despite that, there are tons of things to do around so it ended up not being such a big deal. It's great on the off season because the occupancy is fairly low and there are times it seems like you have the whole place to yourself. We enjoyed having the large pools to ourselves! Since we're in the off season, it's like a ghost town after 5 pm. It's hard to find any employees if you have any questions. The front desk is deserted. You'll just only see security. It's such a nice place to book. Getting settled in what is literally like a home away from home. Because a hotel room doesn't afford the same kind of cozy atmosphere. It only allows you to put up 10 pictures....but there are many more so here are a few. It was clearly stated that ALL condos would be COVID19 cleaned and sanitized...well you tell me if that's the case here?! (Pictures don't lie) What is not pictured is how dirty all the fans were, floors (if you walk bare foot the bottoms of your feet will be Nasty), base boards, widow ledges, ice machine scoop, appliances not clean and so on. The sheets were NOT fresh had an odd smell to them like old dug out of the back of a closet smell. What also amazed us was where was the hand sanitizer? In building C there was one by the main elevator, but not the elevator coming and going from pool. One at the outside entrance by beach but not by pool where you have to touch the gate in and out. And well that's ALL...None on any floor or by the indoor pools, NONE by the food stands, no where to be found. Never saw the cleaning staff in building cleaning common areas. But in building D we saw them cleaning common areas. We also had a cabana which we had to turn the key in by 6 so they could clean! Never cleaned, trash never taken out (yes pictured), towels never replaced NOTHING. The same nasty banana that was there on the outside deck the day we arrive(remember it was COVID19 cleaned still remains) Pool were not cleaned, decks not sprayed off nightly (cigar buds, food, candy, and a lot more all over (vacuumed, skimmed, chemicals check nightly...the lazy river had so many ants and sand in it when we arrive at 930 am! Oh my) Oh and if you have an oversized vehicle there are a few parking spots...as it amazed me how quickly they jumped on people parking in the 15 min spaces if they were there 15.5 mins, but if you were a regular sized vehicle in an oversized spot that was ok! (Smh) Oh and lets not forget the amazing nightly noise of the sub pump to make sure the "bathrooms" would not back up! And the joints were for the pump were not done correctly poop water was leaking right outside the complex. Not impressed during these times especially! read more

My parents booked a week for our family, five of us, through spectrum resorts. They have grand memories of the Turquoise in its prime and were excited to share this place with us. My dad paid 3600 dollars for seven days. And the view was breathtaking. I can see this place might be glorious. My dad is not terribly rich, so renting for a week at this rate was a privilege for our family. We rented through Spectrum. The breakfast made people in my family sick, so we only ate it one day. The air filter in the condo also made people sick as there was mold in the air. The hot tub on the balcony was broken and felt dirty. There were roaches that lived on the balcony. The master bed was so broken down, my folks had trouble sleeping. We had continual trouble with the direct tv. The rugs in the house and out on the patio was so dirty, It just felt gross. So I thought you should know. I would never rent from spectrum again as this experience was so cheaply done. My dad is not a complainer, but spectrum definitely took advantage of the situation by not caring to have things clean and in working order. I just want to warn people the quality they expect may be quite different than what they might receive. read more

This is our favorite resort in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. We have been to multiple others and now won't go anywhere else. We stayed in a 4BR. It's gorgeous!! Super updated, clean, spacious, and luxurious. Very well stocked kitchen. And THE VIEW!! We have a corner unit and the view cannot be beat. Just lovely. Pools- great-- wouldn't change a thing! Elevators-- AMAZING (we have stayed at a resort with liens for elevators. Parking-- couldn't be better. Our condo is just steps and an elevator ride from the pool and the beach. Lobby and common areas like bathrooms at pool are very clean. The hot tub on the balcony is heavenly. We didn't use the grill but a great feature. It's like they've thought of everything! We also loved the food at the pool bar and the kids loved the snow cones. It's nice to have an option to eat onsite in case you don't feel like leaving. Our kids absolutely loved the activities. Spectrum staff have been great- absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be back! read more

My family just spent 7 nights here and it was a spectacular experience. Everyone one of us was sad to leave. We rented a four bedroom, 5 bathroom 3500 foot condo with views of the ocean from nearly every room. We stayed in D-1801 and it was beyond luxurious. It had copious amounts of ice in the fridge and a separate ice maker next to the bar/wine cooler. The main master bedroom had a bidet in a bathroom bigger than my bedroom at home. Everyone had their own space and as a result we all got along wonderfully. The gourmet kitchen was alike a dream come true. We used the resort option of ordering groceries so we were fully stocked when we arrived. With two little kids eating in really made our stay even better. We also loved the washer/dryer and threw everything in the wash each night. Next time I come here, fingers crossed, I will bring way less clothes. I didn't realize how fabulous the laundry room would be. They provided some detergent but we brought our own plus fabric softener. Another convenience is that we got two parking spots in the underground garage. One was numbered for our unit and the other was for anyone directly across the garage. Our spot was right next to the door to the elevator, super convenient even with the luggage carts we snagged on the lobby floor. We arrived late but the parking guy had our keys, etc. to make everything go smoothly. I love looking at beaches but swimming in pools and this resort had 4 pools, two inside and two out, to make me happy. We also had our own hot tub on our deck. (As well as a gas grill, chairs and table.) They came around and checked the hot tub twice, just regular maintenance. I spent every minute I wasn't in a pool on the deck looking at the stunning view. We took the garbage out every night and went through all the bags provided. There were always people cleaning somewhere and they happily gave us more. We also ran both dishwashers every day, yes there were two, and they gave us more powder for those as well. I also couldn't get the hair dryer to work and they were there in a minute to fix everything, at night, on Easter no less. This is a family friendly place so expect lots of kids, even some groups of tweens and teens who seemed a bit overly indulged. But it was quiet and peaceful, no spring breakers. In fact the week we were here (Easter and after) they were only at 50% occupancy which I loved. The only downside is the cost. We dealt with that by splitting it between two families and we all got along great, no need for a second condo. We drove 15 hours to get here and it was totally worth it. I have stayed here in years past and always had a great experience. This year- the Unit was AWFUL. Dirty, carpet was filthy, no cushions for outdoor furniture and a manager I had to spar with THE MANAGER FOR 7 out of my 10 days just to try to get the items fixed or an adjustment on a bill of $600 per night for the 4 bedroom unit. For $600 per night, the unit should have been fully stocked, clean and with new carpet. I won't be returning after this experience. Judge the carpet for yourself by looking at the photos from EVERY room. You would not find filthy carpet like this in Motel 6 much less a place you are paying $6000 for 10 days. I refused to take my shoes off in the rooms. DISGUSTING. Go stay somewhere else in Orange Beach. Not Turquoise Place read more

We viewed a condo at Turquoise Place in 2019 and couldn't wait to book a family trip in 2020. First the pandemic hit and then a hurricane, so 2020 was a no-go. March 2021 and we made it to Turquoise Place! Beautiful Gulf water, large, fairly clean condo, but the noise from the condo above us ruined the dream. They weren't trying to be loud but there was a heavy-footed person running from early morning to late at night. The noise was non-stop. There was nothing security could do, the neighbors weren't trying to be noisy, but the condos weren't constructed in a way to reduce noise. I'm sure the folks below us were just as frustrated! All-in-all, it was too much money for such little relaxation.... read more

This is a 4.5 Star facility. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Excellent location with spectacular views. The amenities were wonderful especially since it rained during parts of our stay. The lazy river and indoor pools were a real bonus. Trust me... the positives far out weigh the negatives and there are too many positives to list. Loved the live bands that played each day around noon. I will provide a few negatives. 1) On the day of check out you have to leave the resort at check out. Most places you can arrive early or stay late as long as you are not in the room, not this place. Check out mean, bye bye. 2) Parking was difficult. We have an SUV and could just barely get into the garage and park in their small spaces. Clearly not a reason not to come but detoured is from leaving the restaurant for dinner. 3) The private hot tub on our balcony had terrible nasty water that smelled and was discolored. They did send someone to drain the hot tub but that took a day plus the water took a day to heat. For a four day stay, the hot tub was mostly not usable. 4) The rooms were mostly cleaned but we did find trash from previous tenants. We loved the place and would certainly return. read more

We have had excellent experiences at Turquoise in the past, but the experiences have become progressively worse over the past few years. During COVID, the management decided to not take national or state guidelines seriously. The local area is predictably not as consistently masked as other places in the country; however, we expected that a higher end property would take seriously the guidelines that would make all guests feel safe. Potential renters who are looking for a place that is generally supportive of the most basic COVID safety guidelines should look elsewhere. read more

My friends please listen to me if you are looking for the perfect place to escape and that covers all your needs. It is not inexpensive but it surely what you desire to get away and have all the necessary extras for the perfect vacation. For the citizens of New Orleans it takes about a half tank of gasoline to arrive at Orange Beach, Al. You pack your car with the necessary food and booze and three and a half hours later you have arrived. You need not worry about anything else. All the dishes, glass ware, ice, wine coolers, bread warmers, anything else is there and waiting for you. It is near perfect and you do not have to deal with the TSA to travel here. Besides all the things you need to cook and enjoy your stay is the Jacuzzi on the balcony that is completely private for bathing suits or sans bathing suits and the gas barbecue grill for cooking. All of this that is directly on the Gulf with a clear unobstructed view of the Gulf and access to the Gulf for morning or evening strolls . This was s big let down, we had called before bringing a M/B sprinter van to confirm parking. After a couple of days there I was informed I had to remove the vehicle off their property. No public parking close, they even had a remote lot which I couldn't use. Their rules we no RVs, it's a tall van!!!!! I had no other recourse than to rent a car. read more

Stayed here for a girls weekend. Words cannot express how beautiful this place is! We were there this past weekend, the indoor pool was wonderful, however the steam room in our building was out of order. Every corner you turned staff were cleaning and were very friendly always asking if you needed anything. We stayed in D-1301, absolutely stunning. Every unit has a grill and hot tub on your balcony. This place is truly luxurious and has every amenity you can imagine. This place is definitely on the top of my favorite places to stay. You will not be disappointed! read more

At first sight the two towers that are the spectrum turquoise dominate the Orange Beach Skyline. Visually the entire resort is beautiful, luxurious, and it gives you the feeling of high end. We arrived on a Saturday evening driving in from Texas and pulled into the parking garage of the complex. We soon discovered our room key was not present. Why was this? The answer is that each condo within the resort are individually owned, either by individual owners for investment purpose or by real estate companies also looking to make money. Our specific room happened to be owned by a real estate company. You see the spectrum does not control the internal going ons within each room. The real estate office did not drop off our key to security for us to pick up. We called to find out that the real estate office closes at 5 on Saturday. What the heck! We almost were left without a room if it were not for the kind efforts of one security person that opened the room with his master key. He even offered to come back by to let us in that night if we wanted to leave and grab a bite to eat. On this note, way to go spectrum for hiring a top notch security team with customer service savvy. So be warned if you stay here, double check your not doing business with POS real estate offices. Besides the mishap with the room key we had little trouble or problems with the spectrum. (The smoke detector ran out of battery one night and started beeping but that can happen to anyone) As for the positives, the spectrum has 4 different pool facilities, 2 outdoor pools, one indoor pool with two hot tubs, and then a lazy river! It also has two private entry walkways to the beach with showers and it's own chair umbrella service. The spectrum also has a work out room with sauna and steamroom. Our rooms were huge and the kitchen along with its appliances. The balcony was probably the best part with gas grill and private jacuzzi. Overall the spectrum is really nice and has great services and amenities. However the real estate companies that own some of the rooms are terrible so hold out and don't rent with them. read more

Have always wanted to stay at Turquoise Place since I went for a tour while it was under construction, but it is pricey. Off season so we decided to try. The building has been maintained pretty well which is important. Quality built. Spectrum was friendly and helpful with any issue we had. There was a problem with wifi and hot water but fixed immediately. NOTE: Book through Spectrum or Turquoise or you do NOT have access to all amenities and they won't handle complaints. The units are so roomy so are the balconies. Wonderful views. Walk in showers . I could live there! This unit was designed for for adults with king beds in the three bedrooms. Spectrum changes the comforters every stay, saw maid because we left something and had to go back, there she was with three new bed comforters. Loved that! They had plenty of towels and washcloths which is unusual for condos. My only complaint, and this is just personal preference, all floors are tile and I like a rug by the bed. Upon arriving we were sorely disappointed. First thing we noticed was that the floors were not cleaned well. The furniture seemed old and run down and the rugs were all matted down. The extra sheets and blankets in the closet did not smell or feel like they had been laundered in this century. The hanging curtains over the sliding glass doors had so many holes from moths that they could barely be called curtains anymore. When we went down to our beach chairs we paid for, there was a line of underage douche bags drinking whiskey straight from a glass handle. It was blocking our entire view of the ocean. We were told that you couldn't have your own chairs on the beach which was a plus because we thought we would have an unobstructed view. WORST PART was the balcony! There was a roach infestation, presumably under the hot tub (obviously). We saw one or two and brushed it off but after leaving a bag (with absolutely no food related items in it) on the patio it became INFESTED with roaches. After this, we saw several in the condo. We have been coming to this area for over 20 years and I never in my life thought I would stay at a luxury condo and see this many roaches. We were under the impression that this was a the condo to stay at but clearly we were wrong. read more

Overall happy because of all the places that we stayed at, this was the most organized and clean. The two items we were missing were replaced right away after notifying concierge. My only complaint is the sheer distance to pools but once you learn the lay of the land it's good. Check in was mildly chaotic because of the way the building is laid out, but it wasn't bad enough to remove a star from the review. Lastly, we had 3 cars for a unit allocated 2 and they gave us a guest pass for the last car. Overall positive. read more

Resort cancelled our reservation ONE week before arrival for no reason. I had friends from another state arrive here on Friday and were told to go home. Absolutely outrageous. My family stays here every year (extended family too) for our big family summer vacation and after this horrible experience we definitely will not be back. I get that "spring break" has a bad stigma, but not everyone is out to break things and be crazy. This was my favorite vacation spot on the gulf, but I definitely will not be back. My family stayed a week at Turquoise and we paid almost $8000 in rental fees for the week. We had 3 cars and were given two parking passes. We were under the assumption that the third car should park in one of the "unnumbered" parking spaces because the parking policy is very vague BUT mostly because the security gate attendants allowed us to do so the entire week. They just kept saying to us just park in one of the "unnumbered" spaces. On the last day after a full week of parking the third car in one of the "unnumbered" spaces our car was booted and we had to pay $50 cash to the parking attendant/security gate guy to get our car un-booted. What was shocking was that there was a note on the car saying that they made 4 attempts to let us know with "a sticker on our car" that we needed to contact the parking office. NO STICKER WAS EVER LEFT ON OUR CAR - NOT ONCE. Someone completely lied and when I pressed them to prove they left a sticker 4 times they could not come up with an explanation or answer. It was simply wrong and no one was willing to be flexible. It was very upsetting. We have been repeat guests over the years and WE WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN. read more

We are spending Spring Break here in this plush condo. Floor to ceiling wall to wall windows over look the Gulf Shores. Top of the line Wolf appliances in our gourmet kitchen. Short walk to the ocean in soft white sand. It's the place for a perfect retreat in USA. I highly recommend it. read more
