This year, we had our quarterly service in March. The professionalism has always been outstanding and it's rare for us to see bugs after treatments and when we do see them, it's generally ants. We've had a much wetter than usual spring and when we started seeing ants again, we called Valor. It wasn't our usual contract appointment, but nonetheless we explained our ant problem and they responded with a courtesy service the next day. Next day service is exceedingly rare. Their employee, Reuben arrived spot-on the time we were told to expect him. He said something that really struck me as premier customer service when he said, no matter that we sprayed in March, I am here to do whatever is needed to control your pest issues. His friendliness, professionalism and knowledge of the products he was using were impressive. He listened intently and asked questions while I walked him around the trouble areas and then he went to work. This young man is an outstanding ambassador for Valor Pest specifically and a credit to the pest control industry in general. My wife and I will be singing the praises of Valor Pest Control for years to come

    The company is too expensive for the work ( & quality of work) they do. The shield they added…read morearound the house was glued on sloppy, and even cracked some of the foundation bricks while drilling the holes in the shield (and they say the cracks were always there but we when we bought the house a few weeks prior & the inspector spotted no cracks and nor did we. Also the monthly service is nothing. They QUIXKLY check the poison and QUICKLY spray chemicals and that's it. If weather is bad they skip on the outdoor service (which we still pay for) . They aren't thorough nor do they check details. They forget that each clients house is a HOME. I wouldn't recommend them.

    I've had a recurring service with Orkin for several years. My tech missed his window today. Things…read morehappen and a simple text, phone call, or email would've been fine. However, I never heard from anyone. I tried to call every Orkin number online I could fine. The website says multiple places that customer service is 24/7 and it is not. No one answered locally or any of the 800 numbers. I finally got ahold of someone at the Nashville branch, I'm in Knoxville, and he was shocked that even he couldn't get someone in my area. If you can find another company that uses similar products at a similar or better price, choose someone else for sure Update: my tech never showed up. I tried to call all the Orkin numbers and none of them were answered on Saturday or Sunday despite being advertised as "24/7 customer service". I called the local office Monday morning and the manager, Kevin, was rude and dismissive. He was not apologetic and didn't seem to care or be interested in his tech not showing up. You would think it would be easy to notify everyone on the tech's list that he's not coming when he didn't show up for work. I was planning on updating my original bad review if the service was good today but it was not.

    Subject: Urgent Request to Cancel Orkin Service and Stop Improper Billing…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of my Orkin service and to dispute the charges that have been repeatedly applied despite my attempts to cancel. For several months, I have tried in good faith to cancel my service through the Franklin, NC Orkin office located at 120 West Palmer St., Franklin, NC 28734 (phone: 828‑687‑3810). Each time I call, no one answers, and the call rolls over to the Anderson, SC office. Every month, I explain that I want to cancel. Each time, I am told that I will still be charged for the current month--even though no service has been provided--and that I must wait until after receiving service and then cancel before the 21st of the month. I have followed these instructions twice, yet my service has still not been canceled. Today, when I attempted again to cancel, I was told that canceling now would result in a $128 charge, but if I receive service, the billing will continue. In other words, I am being told I will be billed whether I receive service or not. This is unacceptable. I am requesting the following: - Immediate cancellation of my Orkin service. - No further billing of any kind. - Removal of charges for services that were never provided. At this point, the continued billing feels like a cancellation fee disguised as monthly service charges, and I do not consent to paying for services I did not receive. Please confirm in writing that my account is canceled and that no additional charges will be applied. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

They sprayed our apartment for fleas, and it worked like a charm! Their 30-day guarantee is great for peace of mind, because we know if we see any fleas at all within that time that they'll come back free of charge. Great price and great service. I would definitely recommend them for your pest control needs!
