Last year we started a pest control contract with Valor Pest Control. We opted for the quarterly…read moreservice which is perfect for our situation. This year, we had our quarterly service in March. The professionalism has always been outstanding and it's rare for us to see bugs after treatments and when we do see them, it's generally ants. We've had a much wetter than usual spring and when we started seeing ants again, we called Valor. It wasn't our usual contract appointment, but nonetheless we explained our ant problem and they responded with a courtesy service the next day. Next day service is exceedingly rare. Their employee, Reuben arrived spot-on the time we were told to expect him. He said something that really struck me as premier customer service when he said, no matter that we sprayed in March, I am here to do whatever is needed to control your pest issues. His friendliness, professionalism and knowledge of the products he was using were impressive. He listened intently and asked questions while I walked him around the trouble areas and then he went to work. This young man is an outstanding ambassador for Valor Pest specifically and a credit to the pest control industry in general. My wife and I will be singing the praises of Valor Pest Control for years to come

Subject: Urgent Request to Cancel Orkin Service and Stop Improper Billing…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of my Orkin service and to dispute the charges that have been repeatedly applied despite my attempts to cancel. For several months, I have tried in good faith to cancel my service through the Franklin, NC Orkin office located at 120 West Palmer St., Franklin, NC 28734 (phone: 828‑687‑3810). Each time I call, no one answers, and the call rolls over to the Anderson, SC office. Every month, I explain that I want to cancel. Each time, I am told that I will still be charged for the current month--even though no service has been provided--and that I must wait until after receiving service and then cancel before the 21st of the month. I have followed these instructions twice, yet my service has still not been canceled. Today, when I attempted again to cancel, I was told that canceling now would result in a $128 charge, but if I receive service, the billing will continue. In other words, I am being told I will be billed whether I receive service or not. This is unacceptable. I am requesting the following: - Immediate cancellation of my Orkin service. - No further billing of any kind. - Removal of charges for services that were never provided. At this point, the continued billing feels like a cancellation fee disguised as monthly service charges, and I do not consent to paying for services I did not receive. Please confirm in writing that my account is canceled and that no additional charges will be applied. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

At…read morethe initial phone call I said I was not interested in the monthly service fee and that I wished to UNENROLL. The person on the phone agreed to cancel but of course, saved my credit card information and charged me anyway. Buyer beware, ask for written proof of anything said over the phone. This company is shady and will not honor what they agree to by phone! On top of that, the first worker that came out seemed professional. But the worker on the follow-up visit was extremely unprofessional, trashed my home, left trash in the street and permanently stained the sidewalk outside my home with orange foam. After trimming the tree back to prevent pests from entering the home via branches, he left the branches completely covering the downstairs apartment entrance. AND the cuts were not clean and left the tree vulnerable to disease. I had to hire someone to come clean up his mess and fix the cuts. They should not offer a service they are incompetent at completing. Overall I am very disappointed with Catchy Pest Solutions. With so many better alternatives in the area, I would never recommend them.

I have been plagued by wasps for over a year, but after I was stung and ended up in the emergency…read moreroom, I knew it was time to take action. I called Cody Britt after reading some posts on Nextdoor. He came the same day and went out of his way to provide comprehensive service: he sprayed areas inside and outside the house, put powder down, filled holes, set traps, cleaned broken debris off the porch where I was bitten and dropped a potted plant (which I was terrified to return to), checked my chimneys for possible entry points and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. He was generous, kind and professional with his attention to detail. Best of all, he proposed an ongoing plan for treatments during the year to prevent future wasp "takeovers." Phew - I can't tell you how relieved I am! You can reach Cody at 828-787-7378 .

Doesn't deserve any stars! I would absolutely NOT trust Karson Walston, his wife, nor any Bug Lads…read moreassociated with him anywhere near my home if I were you. He's quick to discredit other pest control companies and claims he doesn't even need to enter your home to treat for pests--something that just doesn't align with professional standards. Honestly, I'd be more worried about him bringing bugs into your house than eliminating them. And beware: if he tries to "prove" you need his services, don't be surprised if he pulls out a bug in a folded paper towel as evidence. Who does that? Unless he brought it with him in his pocket, that's just not realistic nor convincing. His "proof" of a pest issue he insisted we had in our home was no longer present when he left our premises and it was absolutely NOT due to his pest control services! Karson may talk a big game and try to charm you, but don't fall for it. Look elsewhere for real, reputable pest control. Spend the extra money if you have to and get a proven service provider. You've been warned!
