The professionalism has always been outstanding and it's rare for us to see bugs after treatments and when we do see them, it's generally ants. We've had a much wetter than usual spring and when we started seeing ants again, we called Valor. It wasn't our usual contract appointment, but nonetheless we explained our ant problem and they responded with a courtesy service the next day. Next day service is exceedingly rare. Their employee, Reuben arrived spot-on the time we were told to expect him. He said something that really struck me as premier customer service when he said, no matter that we sprayed in March, I am here to do whatever is needed to control your pest issues. His friendliness, professionalism and knowledge of the products he was using were impressive. He listened intently and asked questions while I walked him around the trouble areas and then he went to work. The scheduling is frustrating…read more My Mother (elderly) schedules appointments for that and they repeatedly contact her to move up the date. She schedules based on her very full medical calendar and picks dates that are good for her. They don't seem interested in what is convenient for my parents but only what is convenient for them. They're pushy with her and she doesn't like it. They also call my father to try and get the dates they want, and go around her. It's frustrating to me as I'm trying to look out for them. If it was up to me, I'd go with Cooks. This happens every single year and I'm tired of it.

Maybe learn why Nordstrom's became so successful. The book is called "The Nordstrom Way". If you believe your company is great, stand behind it. Minus one star for the cost of service and holding people to pay out full contract. This is not how you treat people and it ends up hurting your company with negative reviews.
