I stop in from time to time for fresh stems for the house. The flowers are fresh and high quality, and the staff is very friendly. They will stop what they are doing to come and help me out with the selection process every time (even though it's typically a low dollar purchase) - Tip: Fridays are half off day for floral stems. I don't send arrangements all that often, but the next time I do so in Phoenix, it will be from Phoenix Flower Shops! read more

Meh. If only the service was as good as the smell. Not only was I eyed by multiple employees, to be ignored, when I was finally approached it was lackluster. I wanted to purchase an arrangement for my mother and asked to see some examples. She grabbed a 3 ring binder, opened it to a page, slid it across the counter and then immediately disappeared. Beyond that, it was a FTD book, examples that are available for viewing online and from any florist. This is why small businesses are dying. They've lost he attention to the small details that set them apart from their bigger and most often cheaper competition. read more

Called and specifically asked if they could guarantee delivery between specific times on Valentines Day, once assured I placed my order. 15hrs later I get a voicemail asking if I could move the delivery to today and if so they would throw in a box of chocolates free of charge. After being put on hold for a total of 30min and hung up on twice they finally found my order and assured me that everything would be delivered today. Well the flowers were delivered today but no chocolates along with misspelled and misquoted words on the card. When you charge $15 for delivery I'd expect some level of professionalism. I will NEVER order from here again. STAY AWAY and order from 1-800-FLOWERS. I had wanted to support a local business but in this instance I will stick with a national competitor. read more

Great on-line service. Their website is very easy to use. I too have never been in shop physically but have used them twice for floral delivery. On both occasions the flowers were amazing! Had bought flowers through teleflora, and this was the local store that delivered. Wrong arrangement delivered, and on top of that, they left out the large roses that the arrangement should have included. Looks like carnations were substitued instead, very disappointed. When I contacted teleflora they offered me 40% off a future order. I will never order through this local place or teleflora again. Very satisfied. I ordered flowers to be delivered for V-Day somewhat last minute and they were delivered on time and the recipient said they looked fantastic. I even had to call and change the delivery date last minute and an actual human being picked up the phone! Im so happy I didn't decide to support the price-cutter online flower shops. It would have been cheaper but who knows what would have shown up and I doubt I would have been able to call to change the delivery date :-) read more

Ordered flowers for my cousins birthday and she wasn't home when they tried to deliver them twice; they finally reached her by phone and she was going to be out for the rest of the day and they had the class to think to at least read her the card so that she new I had tried to have them delivered on her birthday. Do not expect your flowers to be delivered on the requested date if you order from Phoenix Flower Shops. My boyfriend arranged for flowers to be delivered to me on Valentine's Day and they never showed up. They even had my phone number, and they never called me. So my boyfriend called Phoenix Flower Shops, and they asked him if he would rather have a refund or have them delivered the next day with no refund. No one wants Valentine's Day flowers delivered on February 15th. He took the refund, but I was very disappointed that they didn't offer anything else... Not delivering flowers on Valentine's Day is a huge screw up of you ask me. So I came into work today, and lo and behold- these stupid flowers are here. A coworker told me that they showed up after 5 pm- after work hours, after I had left work, and coincidentally after we had called them yesterday. So I called Phoenix Flower Shops this morning and didn't get much more than "Sorry, if you don't want them then that's your decision to throw them out." Really?? So I asked the person on the phone if that's the best thing that they could do, say sorry for messing up Valentine's Day flowers and tell me to throw them out? She goes, "Well what would you like me to do for you?" I said, "I really don't feel like it's my job to throw ideas at you. You should be throwing ideas at me." So she offered a gift certificate for my boyfriend. I'm glad that they finally offered something after all of that, but so frustrated that we had to call twice! Yeah, the flowers are pretty, but don't expect them to be delivered on the requested date and don't expect them to offer anything other than a refund for falling so short of what's expected from a flower shop that is supposed to deliver on time. read more

They get one star for beautiful flowers. They did not call my daughter, a student in the dorms at ASU, when they delivered to the receiving office there. They had promised that they would. The girl who took my order seemed very clear on the fact that she would have to call my child so that the flowers could get picked up. When I called to see if they were delivered and found out that they had just left them in the office and not called my daughter, I got the, "well, we did deliver them and then it's not our problem anymore." routine. No apology, no understanding, forget "going the extra mile", no customer service. No customer here anymore. This is the second time I have visited Phoenix Flower Shop and was equally as impressed by the selection and quality of the flowers, in addition to the amazing staff. I came in looking to make a custom bouquet for a friend's birthday. The two women working were both very helpful and knowledgable. I find the flowers to be priced at a bargain considering their quality. The store also offers a weekly half off all loose-stem flowers-- a happy hour for flowers--great idea! I had never used Phoenix Flower Shops before, but came in looking for a nice arrangement to be used at a memorial celebration for a family membr. I loved everything about the store-- it was clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the flowers I purchased there lasted only 48 hours before starting to wilt and discolor. I hope it was just a fluke... but I'm not so sure I'd be willing to chance it again. read more

Only reason they get 3 stars is because the flowers haven't been delivered yet. This is my first time ordering flowers and I expected these guys to be better than most. I called in to see if my order was going to be delivered to my mom today since it's mothers day. The first person I talked to hung up on me when she said she was looking up my order. I called back and the second person I talked to sent me to the same person who hung up on me prior. She told me they were out for delivery and so on. Then hung up on me again. The customer service has me ready to buy from someone else from now on. I wouldn't recommend them for this reason. If you can't give a good customer service, you can't run a business. My review rate may differ on how the flowers arrive. read more
