I reached out to Cactus Flowers to design my daughter's bridal florals after I had a sort of 'misstep' a few months back with a delivery my daughter had sent me from Cactus Flowers. The flowers had shown up at my home and they didn't look so great and I knew that I could not let it go. They made it right with no question a week later after that not so great delivery which didn't come from this shop that I am reviewing but from the one in Cave Creek. It showed me that they cared and would do whatever it took for the client to be happy. My daughter was having a small intimate wedding in N. Scottsdale and I knew what she wanted when she had me do her planning. Moreover I do a lot of florals with my career and was very specific in the design and type of florals. I was put in touch with Corinna at the Studio for Cactus Flowers which does bridal florals and when I said I wanted Dusty Miller roses in a barely pink hue and Peonies, she went to work perusing them first from possibly Alaska or Chile and the roses from California. The succulents were linked in from Arizona as that was important considering the event was outside and local. She had them delivered hours before the wedding and they were everything our daughter wanted. We will hire Cactus Flowers again for the larger reception in the Spring and I know again the florals will be gorgeous! I also loved working with her because she was so kind and called me when I was on my travel and business trips and understood my schedule! 10 stars of amazing! read more

I can't think of a better way to describe every single touch of florals and greenery that @cactusflowerflorists brought to my wedding. Out of all the wedding planning elements, I found the floral arrangements to be the most intimidating, as I don't consider myself particularly creative in that area, and I really didn't have a lot to contribute to the conversation. The only thing I knew I wanted when it came to flowers was for there to be a lot of texture; almost a "messy" look. But I wasn't sure if I was conveying that thought in the best way. However, Cactus Flower Florists made the process seamless and (as is a trend with the vendors I chose for my wedding) they far exceeded anything I pictured in my head. All I had to do was send Corrina and Dani the mood board created by my wedding planner, and they took it from there, transforming my ideas into a breathtaking reality. Every detail was executed perfectly, and the florals and greenery were absolutely stunning. When the staff got onsite, they were a well-oiled machine. The bud vases dispersed throughout the reception area were the simplest, yet perfect touch. The pocket boutonnières for the groomsmen and fathers were perfect, and the corsages for the mothers were flawless. They even added some special personal touches that meant a lot to me - including making the wristlets out of pearls; a nod to my late grandmother. I was so in love with my bouquet that when I sent it off to be pressed and preserved, I felt a little heartbroken to part with such a beautiful piece. Stood there for 20 minutes, no it was not busy, there were plenty of employees there. Wanted something put together but was ignored, went with an overpriced pre-arranged bouquet of flowers instead, waited even more time while someone who wasn't waiting as long as me got checked out first. Very sad and disappointed in the arrangement that just arrived for my birthday especially when I found out how much my husband paid for it. three Calle lilies in a tall vase with a few rocks and a sprig of greenery. He even asked to have a pop of color added to it (extra cost of course) and they 'forgot' to add it. For the last few years he's had the same person make my arrangements and they have been fabulous but apparently they closed the locations and let all the employees go. I've now gone on Yelp to find him new florists to purchase my future flowers from. We will not be future customers. The price for value are not there. read more

Phenomenal, second year in a row. Used both times for graduation plumeria leis, they have double leis from Thailand they have shipped in especially around graduation time. Colors to choose from include purple and white, white, and ASU or Sparky colors. I would recommend contacting them at least a month out to reserve yours, then advise them of your desired pickup date. A few days before each time, just to be safe, I did contact to ensure the orders were ready for pickup on my predetermined date, no issues. Kind staff, personable service. I received some SAD wilted flowers from Cactus Flowers for Mother's Day. The back of the arrangement had a hole where flowers could have been. Some of the flowers-stock, perhaps-blooms on stalks where wilted and already looseing petals upon delivery. Colors are orange/coral and blue, an unusual combination for Spring and/or Mother's Day. Today is day 3 since delivery. The small multi bloom rose branch (just one) is wilted today. Stock petals are all over table. Very disappointed. My son lives in Tennessee and he sent me flowers through Cactus Flower. It is a beautiful arrangement, gorgeous! And now it is a WEEK later and it still looks gorgeous. I am so shocked that almost all of the flowers are still alive. It included three beautiful huge pink roses, beautiful yellowish blue hydrangeas, that are my favorite (they usually die within two or three days), with a lot of other beautiful filler flowers and greenery. I went here for my flowers for my wedding. I had a lovely experience and a fun time picking out my flowers and talking about my vision. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and lasted a long time. My only sad moment was that I had requested a flower that was not in my bouquet even though they were on the quote. They had communicated the fact that one flower I requested was not available which was fine but the other one I had not received any notification which was unfortunate because I did want the other one. Original appointment for my wedding flowers was great but the communication leading up to the wedding was not great. The service from the front of store who was supposed to communicate when flowers would be done and by what time was very rude and unprofessional. We had to call over three times to get an email confirmation with the time the wedding flowers would be ready and every time she sent an email there was no time on the receipt. eventually we had to go into the shop to confirm they'd be done the morning of the wedding. I've used Cactus Flower Florists in Scottsdale before and the recipients have loved the floral arrangements I sent. This time it was for a male friend of ours who had surgery and I was trying to find something more 'manly'. I eventually found their 'Arizona Beer Garden'... succulent plants surrounded by a variety of 12 craft beers by local favorites. That was it! It looked great and was so very perfect for our friend. The day it was delivered we received this text from our friend's wife: "This is without a doubt one of the most awesome, neatest, fabulous floral arrangements we have ever received. I just got home from the grocery store and Del was standing in the kitchen just staring at it with a smile on his face. Thank you so much. It's unbelievable and we appreciate it beyond words." My wedding was the day after Christmas so timing was tricky with the flowers. I called other places that told me they wouldn't be able to make them or were closed. I called cactus flower and Corrina was able to calm my nerves! She walked me through the process of putting together my bouquet and my boutonnieres. It came out more beautiful then I could imagine! They delivered them early the day of and included a complimentary toss bouquet! Not only did they make these over the holidays, my wedding was less then a few weeks away! The flowers lasted a long time afterwards. I have preserved them by pressing them with a Microfleur and drying in silica gel. So far my favorite has been the roses dried in the silica gel. I replanted the succulents from the bouquets and so far they are doing well. I will definitely be ordering from cactus flower again. High quality flowers and succulents with good service! read more

This is one of my favorite reviews I'll ever write, for the simple reason that Cactus Flowers have been a partner with me in making memories, sharing love, and commemorating special occasions and congratulating the one who matters most in my life. So far in 2018, I have purchased several dozen arrangements from CF. Whether I'm going in for a miniature bouquet, Friday Flower Happy Hours, birthday flowers, or my favorite -- custom made bouquets to present to my girlfriend. The level of service and market-leading prices offered are matched only by the uptown Phoenix location (and the other CF locations, I presume)... they cannot be beat. Cactus Flowers stands in a class of its own and I doubt there is a finer florist in all of Phoenix. The wonderful employees here know their role and they do it well -- to guide and partner with customers in bringing happiness and joy, or when needed, comfort and peace to the lives of those who matter most in the lives of flower buyers. I haven't ordered online but I am confident that they would deliver excellence. My normal approach is to stop in with a theme in mind (color, centerpiece flower, occasion) and self-select a few different types of flowers from the refrigerator. If I get stumped I'll ask for help, and I usually ask for suggestions on what stock or filler to include. I normally water tube my arrangements to ensure longevity if I am not going to present them for a few hours. The employees do an excellent job and letting you participate in the creation of your bouquet. Or you can just tell them what you are feeling and let them handle it. Consider how much more special and appreciated an arrangement would be to the recipient when they hear from you "I picked those out and arranged them myself*." *with the help of the florist Cactus Flowers empowers their customers to do more, and to make the same raw ingredients that could be found at any reputable flower shop really stand out. That, along with their service, and market-leading value, is what sets them apart from the rest. About the prices... I haven't seen better prices anywhere. They are highly competitive, and when you get a handmade loose bouquet during happy hour on Friday, you'll realize that the only thing stopping you from giving flowers on more Fridays isn't the cost or convenience -- it's you. The funeral was to take place in four days, and I checked with the seller if there was enough time to make a wreath.
