I probably would have given 5 stars except that they did not serve me what I ordered. All of the apps were delicious. The slides, the "fries" and the calamari. In fact, the calamari was so good that ordered it for my entree with the fennel salad. What they brought me was a fennel salad with the calamari already sliced and put in the salad. I didn't even get the full piece of calamari yet they charged us for it. I would have been more assertive to have it changed except we were with family that is very uncomfortable with speaking up and believe you should just accept what is given to you. The person next to me asked to borrow the ketchup and I joked with him about being thrown out for having no taste (as the food was excellent without it). We've been to Phoenix Flame multiple times and have never been disappointed, from the appetizers, entrees, cocktails. I wish they would bring back their version of a taco, I guess the wrap was to large for their griddle. I would definitely recommend dining in at Phoenix Flame or order take out. read more

This place is fairly new so I waited a bit before trying and wow, was I surprised!! The atmosphere is very modern but friendly. Lots of plants which gives a homey touch. There were just two of us so we didn't order that much but what we did order was magnificent. First the Bai Bao Pork Sliders were absolutely amazing and are a thing I already will get cravings for. I can't even imagine how they got the bread to be so fluffy. It was like taking a bite out of a cloud. My husband got a skirt steak sandwich which was so flavorful and so, so tender. I ordered The Ultimate Steak sandwich which had three different kinds of steak with carmelized onions and melted cheese on a brioche bun. Can't say enough about this. French fries were perfect. Please go here and keep some good businesses in Rolling Meadows. I don't especially like the fact that there is a charge if you you a credit card so bring cash! Our group of 12 had a fabulous experience at Phoenix Flame. The atmosphere was inviting, the server was attentive and food was OMG delicious. We started with Plantain "Maduro", Grilled Zucchini, and Grilled Octopus. All were very tasty. We were at Topgolf and wanted some more interesting food - a search of Yelp showed up the Phoenix Flame Latin American restaurant a few minutes away. We are familiar with Latin American food, a lot of good meat and vegetables, flavorful dishes but not spicy. The Phoenix Flame did not disappoint. I had the Argentinian Style steak. The meat was tender and seasoned. It came with a selection of vegetables and potatoes also really nicely seasoned. Whole meal was very tasty.
