Dr. Perry pointed out a retina ripple and the start of macular degeneration in my left eye which was not detected by another ophthalmologist had seen before being referred to Dr. Perry for a second opinion. I was very happy with the care and grateful for their expertise and the follow-up call from Dr. Perry himself after surgery plus the weekly follow ups. In the last year or so, though, the care we've received has gone downhill fast, mostly due to the new NP's my wife and I have both seen. The previous doc, PA, and NP at Prevene we saw were all knowledgeable but also took the time to listen and do a proper assessment. More often than not, they also thought through root cause possibilities rather than simply looking for a band-aid to slap on via meds or overly simplistic advice. Our last few appointments with the new staff was full of interruptions and more talking than listening, telling me the same thing you could find online or in a book. We'll be looking for somewhere new.
