Just completed both eyes with cataracts removed and multifocal lenses implanted by Dr.Perry. I highly recommend Dr. Perry, along with Matthew and the rest of the staff. Dr. Perry pointed out a retina ripple and the start of macular degeneration in my left eye which was not detected by another ophthalmologist had seen before being referred to Dr. Perry for a second opinion. I was very happy with the care and grateful for their expertise and the follow-up call from Dr. Perry himself after surgery plus the weekly follow ups. I am still healing and thankful that I do not need to wear glasses anymore. Other than blue light glasses, which I choose to do when using my computer and cell phone. read more

Grayhawk Eye Center - Ophthalmologists Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I have had severe eye problems for 30 to 40 Years. I have been treated by a number of Opthalmologists, a few good and a lot less good. I have been left totally blind in one eye and started losing sight rapidly in my remaining eye. Two weeks ago I went to Dr Perry, I was nearly blind in my remaining eye. I was terrified! Dr Perry said, " I think I can help you." Today I have a corrected 20/20 vision in my remaining eye after a laser procedure by Dr Perry which I consider a miracle. I highly recommend him for any eye problems you have. read more

It's pretty sad when you call and leave a message. Stating that you would like to make a appointment as a new patient and would appreciate a call back.. but then no one calls you back. So I looked up another eye doctor and made an appointment with them. read more

No complaints! Excellent Care. Front Desk Rianna is very welcoming as well as the crew. What surgeon makes a personal phone call to make sure all is good. Dr Perry Does. I have many surgeries and not one surgeon ever call to follow up. Thank you! read more

Grayhawk Eye Center has just completed cataract surgery on both of my eyes, and I couldn't be happier. Although still early, the results have been very, very good. The experience at the center is top-of-the-line. Wait times are near zero, as each step is handled by someone specializing in that part. Everyone answers questions, giving you confidence in your treatment and outcome. The surgeries were fast and painless, occurring within 20 minutes of arriving and have the sensation of being over in minutes (thanks to perfect anesthesia). The doctor follows up personally by phone the same evening, and checks everything in an office visit the next morning and a week later. My vision is noticeably improved, and the cataract-induced artifacts are gone. The experience is beyond what I'd hoped for, and I couldn't recommend this practice more highly! read more

Dr. Perry and his staff are wonderful! I had cataract surgery in both eyes performed by him and couldn't be happier. Dr. Perry was kind and sincere. The scheduling was very easy and the Outpatient Surgical Care surgery center was excellent. I chose the PanOptix lenses and so relieved I did. It's like magic going from not being able to read street and highway signs to seeing everything clearly and in accurate color. My appreciation to all involved for the gift of clarity. read more

What a waste of time - like 18 months or so. He tried every expensive eye drop on me, and everything left me miserable. I'd keep going in to see him, and he'd tell me there was nothing to do but continue to take Vital Tears blood serum. He'd tell me my retinas and corneas looked fine - they were anything but fine!!! I have very severe dry eye, beaten up corneas, thin retinas...one even has a small hole in it. New specialist showed me all the images - the hole in the retina, the mites in my left eye and rosacea in both eyes. Now in IPL treatment and taking Regener-eyes drops. Shame on this man! He has no business being in practice. Go see someone else - anyone else! read more

I had my Lasik surgery done with Dr Perry several years ago and was quite happy with the results. I have also recommend Dr Perry to several friends and family members. So A+ rating on the initial process. F rating on follow up. I waited on hold for 8 minutes yesterday waiting for Eileen in scheduling before hanging up and resorting to their email 'contact us' section. A day later Eileen responded to my email directing me to their phone number to call with a caveat that it would be 4-5 weeks before they ould schedule me. I guess my mistake was mentioning that it was a follow up. I wonder how quickly I would have gotten in if I said I was a new patient. Hhhhhmmmmmm. Great initial work, but beware what happens afterwards. I would avoid paying for the lifetime guarantee unless you understand it means you are guaranteed to wait a lifetime to see him again. read more

My family and I have been seeing Dr. G. Perry for around 21 years. I absolutely love his office and everyone that works there. They have always taken very good care of me and my family. I have recommended him many times to my friends and coworkers. He has always made me feel like a priority. My first visit was due to an accident with a 2 year old's finger nail to the eye and my physician walked me across the hallway to his office. He stopped everything to see me. Another time I had a retinal detachment. He took time to call me while he was on vacation and got me in to see a specialist. He even made the time to see my elderly mother who was visiting from out of state. She was a glaucoma patient and was having some issues with her vision while on vacation in AZ. I know I can always call Eileen, his office manager and she will take great care of me and my loved ones. I can not thank them enough for all they do for their patients. read more

Life Changing!!! Dr Perry and his entire staff have been amazing!!! Truly one of the best experiences I have had. I had cataract surgery in both eyes and can now see 20/20 in both eyes without any contacts or glasses!! I don't think I have ever been able to see this well! I'm only 50 years old and have had terrible eyesight for most of my life. And then developed cataract really early. It always felt like I was looking through a fog. I've now donated all my old contacts and glasses! I don't even need reading glasses because of the specialty lenses!!! I'm so happy!!! read more

I was referred by my optometrist because he was concerned I had a freckle on my eye that was growing. I Immediately feared it was melanoma. It took a month to get in for an appointment, but I am so happy I came to see the doctor. He had an excellent bedside manner and I explained my fear and he said they would do everything they could to help me. He was very thorough with his exam and when he was done he said I do not have a freckle, but actually a retinal scar. Obviously still not great news, but he put my mind at ease and answered all of my questions. Thank you. read more

I have known for quite some time that I have needed cataract surgery. I was referred to Dr. Perry from my daughters friend. I am so happy I went to him. 1st, everyone is the office is nice, professional, and really take their time diagnosing you and assessing you. 2nd, when it came time for the surgery (1 eye so far) it went great. Told me what to expect and how I may feel after. Everything has been spot on. I could not be happier. I am not on to my 2nd eye and can NOT wait. Its crazy to be able to see like this again, and I cant thank Dr Perry enough. Thank you! read more

When my eye doctor told me I needed Cataract surgery, I was so scared, concerned and doubtful of the claims of having 20/20 vision. I have worn contacts for 50+ years, how can this possible allow me the miracle of 20/20 vision. My doctor sent me to Dr Perry and I was immediately pleased with the staff and Dr Perry. The surgeries were scheduled. I had cataract surgery and then had Multi-focal lenses implanted into both eyes (2 weeks apart). There were multiple follow-up appointments, three different types of drops for 3 weeks but 20/20 vision is mine!!! I highly recommend Dr. Perry! Don't hesitate...just do it! read more

I found Dr. Gabriel Perry and his staff knowledgeable and very professional, would certainly recommend him for any of your eye care concerns. Thank you again for my recent successful cataract surgery! read more

I have had terrible eye sight since I can remember, and I am 18 years old. I have been to quite a few eye doctors, and none of them have seemed to help me have perfect vision like I had wished, This had all changed when I went to the Grayhawk Eye Center and saw Dr. Bridgewater. His prices on glasses and contacts are very reasonable and because of him, I now have perfect eye sight with my new contacts. read more

Terrible. I made an appointment for my husband who had been in a bad car accident and had a concussion so had loss of eyesight. we were told to see an opthomplogist by his neurologist. Unfortunately the opthomplogist at this office chose to focus on texting someone with heart emoji's on his cell phone versus pay attention to the patient in the exam room. We were told the loss of eyesight was normal and just due to age. We went to a different ophthalmologist who said it was due to the concussion and prism glasses were needed to re-train the eyes and brain to focus appropriately. The second ophthalmologist said this should not have been a difficult diagnosis and solution as these are known issues. The 2nd Dr was shocked to hear that an eye doctor was not able to identify that there was a problem and blame it on old age. Didn't realize old age was 46. Given our experience I would tell people to look elsewhere for an optometrist or opthomplogist. read more

I was referred to Dr. Gabriel Perry by some friends and Business associates when I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. I have worn glasses and contact lenses for most of my life and have very seriously bad eyes. After my exam with Dr. Perry it was determined that I could have the bad lenses in my eyes removed and corrective ones put in and that would take away the need for contacts and glasses. I was very nervous at the idea of anyone coming at my eyes with machines etc. I have had both eyes done recently and I can't describe how thrilled I am with Dr. Perry and the results I have received. The procedure went very easily with no side effects or complications. There was no pain or discomfort and the results were virtually immediate. I would recommend Dr. Perry and his staff highly. It was top flight service from start to finish and anyone who is nervous about having this done can feel confident in his work. If I could give him 10 stars I would! read more

Dr. Perry is an excellent doctor. He did my cataract surgery after I had worn hard contacts for more than 50 years plus I had an astigmatism in both eyes. He is kind, caring, professional, excellent at diagnosing the best options for your eyes. His bedside manner is outstanding. He took time to explain everything to me and what I could expect as an outcome. He not only met those expectations but exceeded them. After each surgery he called me to check how I was doing and answer any questions. The follow up has been exceptional. I would highly recommend him. read more

Dr. Perry is AMAZING. My husband had cataract surgery. Dr. Perry and Matt explain EVERYTHING...answer questions, have patience and have tremendous "bedside" manner. We had a follow up call that evening after the surgery from Dr. Perry. We called after hours with a question and got an instant answer from Matt as well. Eileen is helpful and kind. The staff at Outpatient Surgical is outstanding as well...patient and thorough. Thank you for the GREAT SERVICE! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Gabriel Perry for 9 years and have always been completely satisfied with the medical care he and his staff provided. When I discovered I needed cataract surgery recently, I discussed all available options with Dr. Perry and his team. Dr. Perry took time to explain all the details of the surgery, the various options available for vision correction (I have been extremely nearsighted and have had astigmatism for 50+ yrs) and patiently answered all my questions. The day of surgery came and everything went smoothly, quickly and painlessly. The next morning, less than 24 hours later, I was able to wake up and see my alarm clock clearly without needing glasses or contacts, exactly as Dr. Perry had promised. I am now more than ever a totally satisfied patient and when it becomes necessary to do the same surgery in my other eye, I will look forward to having it performed by Dr. Perry. I will close by mentioning that after my surgery was completed, Dr. Perry personally called me at home that night at 9:00 pm to make sure everything was still ok and to make sure I was comfortable before I went to sleep. He is not only a highly skilled medical doctor and surgeon, Dr. Perry is also a high integrity individual who takes personal responsibility for each of his patients. I absolutely recommend Dr. Perry to anyone seeking high quality medical eye care. read more
