I had a lens replacement surgery by Dr. Petelin hoping to improve my vision and quality of life. The Dr. made the procedure sound easy and highly successful including in this video, which strongly influenced my decision to go forward. I understood there were risks, and I signed the consent forms in good faith. Unfortunately, after surgery, I began experiencing significant problems with blurry night vision. The clinic did attempt to address it. I underwent a second surgery and a YAG laser procedure, but the issue persists to this day, making night driving difficult and affecting my daily life. When I expressed continued concern, I was told my expectations were too high. I also submitted a written request for a partial refund, which was completely ignored. I followed up through the BBB and the medical board, both of which acknowledged I signed the consent but offered no help. I feel that my concerns have been dismissed, despite doing everything right on my end. This review isn't meant as retaliation I gave the clinic every opportunity to resolve this privately. I'm sharing this because I wish I had known how common and serious these side effects can be, and how difficult it might be to get meaningful help afterward. If you're considering this procedure, especially if you're paying out of pocket, I strongly encourage you to ask very specific questions about night vision, long-term outcomes, and what happens if something goes wrong. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I have. Check out how easy he makes the surgery sound.
