I have had Pho many times in Los Angeles and this restaurant 100% meet the quality of LA Asian ones. I highly recommend and have eat here almost a dozen times. As mentioned before, excellent portions for the price and the meat I have found to be better than local competitors. Plenty of parking in the huge lot and close to the Stuart beach area or Elliot Museum if you are coming from. It has a ton of seating in the rear section for large parties of 20+. Interesting fact, prior to Pho Yummy, it was a steakhouse and you can still see the old fashion brass bar and prior customer plagues on wood wall. A Very nice friendly Vietnamese owner and staff who has put outdoor seating for me when I have my little dog, FYI, Pho is great on a windy and cloudy day. I really had high hopes for a new local Pho place in Stuart so I'll start with the good and leave suggestions for it to become better as it has just opened. First, the Shrimp spring rolls and peanut sauce were great! However the appetizer came out as the exact time as the pho meals not before. I ordered the Hue pho soup and asked to leave the meatloaf out. When it came there was meatloaf in it still. The broth was amazing! The meat was okay. The noodles in pho are usually rice noodles but these were udon which was odd. I would have not ordered that. They should really add more a La carte options to upgrade and add bok choy or mushrooms to the soups or upgrade the meat to ribeye. There was some gross fat not even attached to meat in the soup which made me lose my appetite. (Phots attached). My husband had the Pho Yummy soup. Again, good broth, gross meatballs and fats not attached to meat. Just plain balls of fat. His noodles were rice. I wonder why mine were not? The toppings were bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños and lemon. Lemon? Should be lime. The chopsticks were plastic and the noodles slipped right through. It was almost impossible to eat. The spoons were regular American spoons, not Asian soup spoons so also very hard to eat the soup. I had to take mine to go to even be able to finish it. When I got the to go plastic it wasn't poured for me, it was just handed to me and trying to get this giant soup bowl into a small plastic container should be done in the back. A lot of it ended up on the table. After our food was delivered no one ever came back to see if everything was okay or if we needed more drinks. There was only one other table inside seated so no excuse. You have to go pay at the desk. All in all, I would say they have LOTS to work on before I'll be back. I hope they take these suggestions. Our visit to Pho Yummy was awesome! We had the spring rolls, sautéed noodles and shrimp vermicelli, Thai tea and it was all very flavorful and delicious. The portions are a great size and the gentleman working there (I think he's the owner) is incredibly nice. We brought my toddler and they were very accommodating and had a real high chair with a tray which is so much better than the wooden chairs most of the restaurants have. Terrible service!! I went here today to Buy their fish sauce. They wouldn't sell it to me. And I offered to buy dishes that it came with, and they could keep the food as I only needed the fish sauce. They refused to let me order anything!!! Couldn't believe it. What kind of place won't let you order a food dish that comes with the sauce you want only for the sauce??? Unbelievable! I could donate the food to someone. No, because I only wanted to take home the sauce they wouldn't take my order. I came with my friend who lives here who was going to come back to eat one day, but now he definitely WON'T be coming back and he is with a very big company here. Just ate at new Vietnamese Pho Yummy located at the Cedar Point Plaza. This is hands down the best authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Martin County. The hosts and owner, husband and wife, Michael and Titi, are very welcoming. I tried the chicken pho(white meat) and banh mi. We loved it! The broth was bone beef broth and not the mix that most Vietnamese pho places around town. I know because I tried them all! The sandwich was big and delish. The place was clean and well kept. For the first time, my friend and I visited this restaurant for a late lunch. The atmosphere looked really good, but the service was not up to standards. We still wanted to give this restaurant a chance, so we ordered. I told the waiter that I was vegetarian and did not want any animal products in my foods. He guided me to the "veggie" section. The picture of foods on the menu looked enticing, however when the food arrived it was not a match. The spring rolls were more wrap than any veggies inside. It was also very dry. The entrees were even worse. Not only did the food that was served unmatched with the menu image, the taste was suspicious. My friend and I were both sick for several days after. The symptoms mimicked MSG in the foods. I also feel that the veggie noodles or sauce was cooked with meat broth. My friend and I DO NOT recommend this restaurant. read more
