It's a new area to us. We were just looking for a place close by for a quick lunch. Pho is always our first choice for a nice and quick lunch. We ordered a regular beef noodle soup. The soup was very tasty. In most other places the soup is a quite clear, but this one is quite "murky". But it tasted just as delicious. We also got a couple of egg rolls. They were crunchy on the outside, and inside we particularly like the shrimp. It was crisp and fresh. We also had one of those pork buns. The pork tasted like Chinese BBQ pork garnished with julienned carrots and cilantro. It was toasty and sweet with a nice soy sauce taste. But the buns could be better. They could be warmer and more fluffy. We might have waited a bit too long to eat though. Anyway, we enjoyed our quick pho lunch as usual. read more

Pho Yes? More like Pho No Thanks. We stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner last Sunday on our way back into town. It was surprisingly busy and they really seemed to struggle with getting to our table in a timely fashion for ordering, drinks, etc. We started with the pork spring rolls, and don't let the photos online fool you. They looking NOTHING like them. These just had the pork with some bagged Costco iceberg lettuce and that's it. Our daughter got a kid's chicken pho that was bland, and one of us got the rare steak with veggies that was surprisingly not horrible but nowhere in the orbit of good. The chicken in garlic sauce fell into the same category--it consisted of mushrooms, water chestnuts, and bamboo, and a ton of sauce. The rice was undercooked. Overall, pretty bad, but that's what we were expecting, so not too much of a disappointment. Needless to stay, there's no need ever to be back. 3 generous stars, rounding up. read more

My wife and I chose Pho Yes on a whim on a recent anniversary trip to the Austin area. We were craving Asian food/flavors and were staying about 10 minutes away from this place, so we gave it a go. Long story short, if we lived close by we would be eating here regularly. We both ordered variations of their vermicelli rice noodle bowls and they were fantastic. Tender beef, fresh veggies, and great flavor profile across the whole dish. I didn't get a photo of it, but we also enjoyed an egg roll appetizer before our bowls arrived. Friendly, fast service too. Noodles are a favorite staple for me. I love that in pretty much every Asian cuisine you'll find plenty of noodle dishes, whether it's Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Fillipino entrees. Pho is the spicy Vietnamese corollary to Japanese ramen that warms your innards, especially desirable as the weather turns chilly on our way into winter. It was on one of those blustery November days that I decided to give Pho Yes a try. Perusing the menu, there are a lot of Chinese selections such as lo mein, fried rices, egg rolls, steamed buns, and dumplings in addition to the variations of pho and the expected spring rolls. I opted for the Special Pho along with an order of the pork dumplings. Starting with the pho: the broth was decently flavorful but for me was about average and nothing special. I'm kinda picky about broth, after spending a lot of time at my cousin's ramen and gyoza joint in Japan. Broth is the heart of the meal, the foundation serving all of the other ingredients in the bowl. Pho Yes uses good quality ingredients: the rare steak, meats, and vegetables (including peppers and spice leaves) are all fresh and nicely put together. Still, the pho was just "ok" for me. Dumplings were a disappointment, overcooked to the point of being dry and tough, and the sauces (tried the peanut and sweet/sour options) weren't all that special. In the end, I think that the value proposition here is a bit hurt by the execution and the pricing. Three servings of pho and dumplings ran about $64 including tax and excluding gratuity. That seems spendy to me if you consider what you could get at a Chinese or Thai restaurant for that money. Even if the food had been a little better (and maybe it was an off day for the dumpling cook) I still think it's pricey for what you get. read more

It was ok. I give it a 5/10. The pho broth was kind of plain, but the bowl had a lot of meat and noodles. The noodles weren't boiled fresh because they were stuck together. The spring rolls had shredded lettuce inside and were poorly wrapped (not authentic). The egg rolls appeared to be kind of old, and the filling inside was decent. My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant today, which is actually our second time. First time was to go and was a very delightful experience. We dined in today and ordered the crab rangoons. Sweet n sour chicken and shrimp and broccoli. Everything came out fast, hot, fresh and smelled soooo good. I was so happy finding out there was a Vietnamese food place in Manor closer than 20 minutes from me, I could've shouted. I've never dined in but it's a lovely, clean, well-lit place. This place is awesome. It's clean fresh food and great service. I had the brisket and tendon fall which was delicious. I've had many followers throughout my life especially many in California but this far is one of my favorites topped with flavor. Over priced for sure for sure. You can go into Austin and eat at a nice Vietnamese restaurant for their prices. I've been here quite a few times now and every time my food is barely warm. Every time I order the Pho, it's ALWAYS Luke warm... and it's not even a proper large Phó. They over charge and then underserve. OK right on!! I just don't understand it at all. The service ALWAYS takes FOREVER, which I don't mind if I'm getting HOT food, but it's never happened yet. Just overpriced lukewarm food. Tried to show them the receipt but that did not matter to them. 3 people at counter and none of them would take the time to help find the order. The restaurant then called almost 3 hours later to ask why we hadn't picked up the order and continued to argue that they were busy at the time. The order was right in front of the counter but not one person was willing to either find the order or at the very least make the order for me after I showed them the receipt that it was paid for. The Chicken Wings are a must!!! The best wings of any pho spot around ATX/Manor! Pho was pretty good, the broth was excellent, I got the special and the steak was a little over cooked and chewy, however the other meats were cooked just right. One of our favorite places to pick up takeout in Manor. Always fast and our order is always right. I loveeee pho so having somewhere convenient and delicious is great. My fiancé usually chooses the sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, or the king pao beef and likes them all. First time here. I ducked in to grab a small bite while in the area. I just ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. I thought these were fairly standard fare at Vietnamese restaurants. I also had iced Vietnamese coffee. The spring rolls were surprisingly unique and delicious. They are served with your choice of peanut sauce or their house fish sauce. The rolls were well made and toasted peanuts added a very pleasant texture/crunch. I've had many of these rolls from many restaurants, but these really stand out! The fish sauce was scrumptious with a delicate yet pleasing mix of flavor. It paired so well with the rice noodles and filling. The peanut sauce was also enjoyable. It had a nice thickness and subtle sweetness that coats your palate and makes you want to bathe in it. I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes. read more

I ordered via Uber eats. It's definitely alright but the quality was meh. The Kung pao chicken lacked much flavor and the meat itself was really grizzly. The crab Rangoon seem like they came from a freezer pack or something. I'm on the fence if I would order from here again - it wasn't terrible by any means, just lacking. This place is so good and so hidden! Give it a try. The pho is the best hands down so the name is perfect. All the sides are good IMO. I have gone back multiple times to try all of them. The staff is super friendly. Good selection of drinks. The new tea options are so delicious, the matcha with boba and milk tea is a dream. I hate to admit that I eat Pho Yes 2-3 times a week. It's my go to take out meal. We are a vegetarian household so I was ecstatic when I saw all the tofu options. My current obsession is the Salt and Pepper Tofu, extra spicy, with extra onions. The servings are healthy so I can typically stretch it to two meals (which makes me feel less bad about eating out so much). Pho is great. The reason for the two stars in the service. I've actually had better service at a Burger King than here. All of our cups were completely dry while the wait staff played a game together on their phone. If I ever come back it will be to go. I was curious as to why this establishment is not full and now I know. We weren't checked on a single time after our food was dropped off.
