Best food I've had so far, the pho is delicious and I had garlic chicken hands down so good

Always tasty and never very busy, even on a Saturday night! My husband and I visited recently on a Saturday and had a very pleasant meal. We got the pork dumplings to share, then I had the egg roll vermicelli while he got the fried noodles. I think I should have gone with a meat-based vermicelli, as I missed some of that flavor, but it was all very fresh and tasty nonetheless. My husband had the pan fried noodles, which were sooo good. I forgot to take a picture of the pork dumplings until after I stuffed my face because I was so hungry but they were delicious. They've decorated the restaurant very cutely, and though it doesn't knock your socks off, I think that's preferable because the food does all the talking. read more

Since we are limited on food in Manor and I love pho, I decided to try this spot out a few more times. Can confirm - their orange chicken is so of the best we have had! The owner does his own homemade sauce and you can tell. They give you plenty of chicken too, enough for two to share. The pho is still a very basic broth, but it gets the fix in. I like how they do they meatballs here, the slices give a better bite. I get the rare steak on the side to dip/cook myself. I also really love their wonton soup and their egg drop soup. The small is like $4 but is still plenty, can't go wrong there. Overall have been happy with the food improvements. I do to-go orders for lunch and dinner occasionally. read more

My husband has tried this place out many times and loves it! I'm just not a big pho person, so hadn't ventured to try it. He gets the steak and meatball pho and egg rolls. My daughter also loves it and gets the plain kids pho. It was my first time going this past week and I was pleasantly surprised! I got the sesame chicken and fried rice with pork dumplings. The chicken was so good! They use good quality white meat - which I loved! The portions are huge and I had so much leftover for lunch the next day. The service was also so fast. Phở No -- but actually, kinda yes. Okay, let me explain. It wasn't bad at all--actually, it was pretty good. The eggrolls tasted a bit like they'd been sitting around too long, but the nước mắm (dipping sauce) made up for it--very flavorful. Same story with the phở. The meat was tender, and the overall flavor was solid. The only downside? The broth. It leaned way too oily for my taste. That said, the richness did help the meat and noodles stand out more. So if you're someone who slurps every last drop of broth, you might not love it here. But if you're more about the toppings and flavor punch? You'll be just fine. Personally I think it would be 3.5 stars but sadly the oiliness I think people will not like so that pushes it down to 3 stars. I think there's room to improve here - the atmosphere was good and this place needs a pho restaurant as it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. The staff were also kind. First time here, upon entering we notice it was 70% full with several to go orders waiting for pick up. "Must be good" PHO YES- perhaps they wanted to emphasize the fact that they sell pho. The menu consisted more of Chinese food and perhaps pho is so well known in TX that they had to add it to their menu. Whatever the case I passed up the chance to try the pho. I love egg noodle and wonton so I asked if they would add egg noodle to the soup for an up charge. Our gal said she could not put the noodle in the bowl but I can order egg noodles on the side for an additional $3. I said yes lets do that. My mate ordered the chicken and broccoli plate. My wonton soup came out immediately and about 5 mins later the chicken and broccoli came. About 3 mins later my side of egg noodle arrived on a small plate. Let's get to the good part - the chicken and broccoli was a nice portion with two bowl full size of white rice. It was tasty standard fare give it a 7.5 out of 10. Now for the disappointment- my improvise egg noodle wonton soup. The broth was just average in no way did I thought the broth was memorable, my side of egg noodle was a good portion. The wonton ton just ruined my experience there. This is the second place I have been too where the "wonton" reminded me that it was produced or purchased somewhere other than their kitchen. Has anyone ever purchased mini chicken cilantro wonton at Costco this looked identical to that I'm not saying that it was but in my head I thought it was 85% from there. When I go to a restaurant see this the first thing I think of is they are cutting corners or just not capable of making decent wonton it's very easy to make so why not do it instead of buying it from somewhere else? Again I say this as my opinion of what I was eating no claim that it is fact. My guess is don't go here thinking you are going to get authentic pho expect a decent Chinese dish and yes! I was looking forward to the pho, but the lunch specials, all Chinese, were too tempting. They did not disappoint. 4 of our table of 5 went for the Chinese food, and it all looked delicious. It also arrived at our table very quickly, yet it all seemed absolutely fresh and hot. My Sesame Chicken felt very Americanized--but I suppose that's to be expected. A nice sweet sauce coated BIG chunks of fresh fried chicken alongside a nice serving of broccoli and steamed rice. My guy swung out and ordered Calamari. He is not one to enthuse, so when he said it was very good, very fresh, perfectly fried, that is high praise. Only one lunch companion ordered pho. She said it was fine, but not the best she'd had. The service was excellent. It feels like a family-run place, where everyone really cares about high quality food and good service. The place is clean and bright. My only complaint is those awful metal chairs that simply don't work well with our fat American butts. read more

It was my wife and I's first time at this place. The staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great--table set ups and all were organized and clean when we were in. My wife had the Chicken Fried Rice which had delicious flavor. It was a generous portion and the chicken was nice and soft. She loved her meal. I had the "Seafood Special" with a side of fried rice. The seafood was plump and well-portioned with the vegetables on the plate. It was in some type of sauce/gravy. My fried rice was not as flavorful as my wife's, so I ended up stacking it on the plate with the sauce that was covering the seafood. I had my meal with some iced Thai Tea. Next time we'll definitely be getting Pho though! Especially with colder weather coming--we're happy there's a restaurant nearby that offers it. read more

At pho yes, the food is pretty good here. Living in Manor, Texas it's not bad especially that we don't have to drive very far to get good soup or Vietnamese food. The restaurant looks cafeteria style, but the food is better than expected. I like that there's plenty of parking out front and the price is right. with it being so hot recently it's been difficult going out to eat soup or warm food for that matter. As fall is around The corner. I'm looking forward to my next visit. They've got a good bowl of chicken soup, which is good for the soul. read more

We went in a couple weeks ago during lunch hour and shockingly it was pretty empty but no complaints here because we were greeted and able to be seated immediately. There were 2 young ladies working, both were extremely mannerable and attentive. They each took turns checking on us throughout our visit. We had dumplings & egg drop soup which is . So much so that we ordered an extra one. I had the combo fried rice minus the veggies with extra egg and she had the pho yes special with all the meats. Personally I didn't care for the meatball but I'm really particular on textures, The portion was much bigger than I expected I ate what I could and packed the rest for later, everything was good. We ordered take out and it was so good. I loved the shrimp bo buns, the crab rangoon, pork dumplings, chicken broccoli and special fried rice were so so delicious! We were a little nervous about finding good Asian food after moving to Manor from north Austin. Pho Yes has more than eased our worries, and it's become our main go-to spot for takeout. This place has come in clutch when hosting family and friends since it's conveniently located less than 5 minutes from our house. Ordering online is easy and convenient, and the food is always ready by the time we arrive. Our favorite dish at the moment is the Orange Beef, and we also love the Chicken Broccoli and Lemongrass Chicken. I stopped by for a quick bite, got three things for a whopping $20 lol. The pork egg roll didn't even come with lettuce and carrots like it's normally supposed to. The spring roll was not good. There was barely any noodles or meat in it. It only had lettuce, cucumbers and like 3 pieces of meat. The peanut sauce and spring rolls tasted old. I think they pre make it and it sits in the fridge..... not good. The Thai tea was decent. I would give one star but two stars bc the egg roll was edible. I am vegan so was asking clarifying questions about items on the menu, and she was being a bit inconsiderate. I asked about vegan items and was pointed to the vegetarian section of the menu. You can order more dishes than you could have under the old team. * * * The bad news is a massive massive quality drop. I ordered a simple shrimp fried rice. I only ate a quarter of it. When I left the restaurant, there was a bad taste in my mouth. Ten minutes later, I was nauseous. I threw the rest of my rice away. Something is very wrong in the new Pho Yes Kitchen. Upon entering you are greeted by staff. You will need to place your order upfront and pay before seating. I had ordered the R1 Rice plate with grilled pork. The seasoning on the grilled pork was perfect and you can taste the smokiness from the grill! Yummmm! Pork was moist and well seasoned! The fried egg was over cooked for my liking but it was still good with the rice plate. The fish sauce was a little bit on the sweeter side but overall I loved the rice plate and will be returning for more! Generous portion and everything was on point with flavors! Broth is always hot and flavorful and they are generous with the noodles, meats, and fresh veggies. I recommend the pho #4 with rare steak and brisket. In the mood for pho on a Friday night and decided to give this place a try. Easy parking and easy to find. Order first at the counter and then seat yourself which is not typical of a viet restaurant but a process I enjoy and believe to be more efficient. I ordered the chicken bao, shrimp spring roll and beef and meatball pho. The bao is delicious! I've never seen a pho place sell bao and was a bit skeptical but this was a pleasant surprise. It was the right amount of sauce that doesn't overpower the chicken and portion was perfect. Shrimp spring rolls are on the sticky side which I don't mind but some may prefer less sticky shells. It's got lots of peanuts and has good flavor. Spring rolls here have fried garlic and lots of peanuts inside but less greens and no vermicelli noodles. The pho however is lacking a bit of flavor in the soup. I'd say it's decent. Doesn't taste bad at all but it's missing the aroma and more flavorful taste. The beef is decent quality and for me best eaten on the side and dip it in the soup gradually. The meatball is a bit on the hard side and tastes normal. The restaurant looks well kept, clean, with nice background music and no complaints in the customer service dept. I would come back and try other items on the menu. read more

I've been here a few times, and had to send back my order nearly every time. The meat is not high quality, and is incredibly chewy. When I ordered anything fried it was hard as a rock and you can only taste the breading. Their fried rice was the only thing that was okay. Weird vibe in there too. I was passing through the area and noticed this place. I walked in and was impressed by the overall business. The location seems newer, as they are still decorating. The overall cleanliness is extremely good, and I have no doubt they take pride in this fact. As I had never been here, I told the lady to surprise me, and choose something that she prefers. She chose the Chefs Special 2 (CS02), which had some sort of fried noodle, shrimp, beef, and chicken. This was absolute awesome, and I would order it again. This price is fair for the area.
