The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When I bring friends that are new to the concept, staff are eager to explain the bar, the revolving ingredients, and the different types of broth. Water glasses are never empty (which is a good thing since I tend towards a mix of spicy & tomato broths). The food is always fresh, and the bar/tables are always clean. The space is extremely inviting because of the lighting, the large floor to ceiling windows and the furniture. And the meets, veggies, seafood, and sauces are always fully stocked - I have never had to request staff to refill an ingredient. I love the variety they offer, and will continue to make this my go-to hotpot spot for the foreseeable future!

Another new Vietnamese restaurant in Boynton Beach. Yahoo! I wrote about Summer Rolls last week and when I saw Pho Vn listed here I called them and they said they had opened about a month ago. I think they are in a great location on Congress Ave in the same plaza as Pier 1 and Petco. Tonight I decided to check it out. Nice and clean shiny new décor with a bonsai and the obligatory fish tank near the entrance. Has a nice open look into the kitchen where you can see the chef at work. Seems to be family operated as these types of restaurants tend to be, very friendly folks and the chef came out to make sure everything was fine. Uncomplicated basic 1 page menu, no 100 different soup varieties here and I kind of appreciate that. Overall pretty happy with my Pho soup. I got what is called the Superbowl it's the jumbo sized version of the regular bowl. At only a dollar more at $9 I figured why not knock myself out. I didn't polish it off but I sure tried as it was very good. The beef was super tender and the noodles were perfect. I love Hoisin sauce by the way 10 times more than duck sauce and I squeezed plenty of that into the soup along with the hot chili sauce aka cock sauce. The accompany plate of fresh mint, sliced chili peppers and bean sprouts all went into the bowl too. I will try a rice dish and summer rolls next time as the folks behind me seemed to be pleased with their meal. This is really light healthy eating perfect for Florida and I hope this trend in ethnic restaurant openings continues. I would love to see an Indian restaurant open in Delray or Boynton. I actually find it hard to believe that Atlantic Ave in Delray is missing this boat on good eats like this. read more

This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had. I cannot begin to describe the wonderful atmosphere of Pho Vn. We had a warm greeting from the kindest man I've ever met, Tim. He was so amazing, I wish Tim everything good in life. The food was phenomenal, I got the stir fry with chicken. Which he assured to ask me which gender of chicken I would like which i think was thoughtful. He then proceeded to stand on a chair to take a picture of me and my friends which I will frame to remember this restaurant and will always try my hardest to go to this restaurant whenever I am nearby. My friend ordered boba tea and I can safely say it was the best boba I've had, I usually despise the taste of tea but it was so very good. I would recommend this place to any person in the world, If I had to eat dinner with any famous person I would chose to eat here and I would not even care about the celebrity I would only care about conversing with Tim. Wow! First time we were here we had a great meal and we were excited to come back with friends. Won't be coming back here ever again! Stay away and avoid! After we ordered the waitress came to tell us there was no more edamame. Ok. Food finally arrived, everything except two of the meals. Half way through the meal the Pho (one of the missing meals) arrived. When we asked where the other missing meal was we were told they don't have anymore and only had enough for the one person. Seriously? When we asked why they didn't tell us they only had one portion left when we ordered and not when everyone else was almost finished their meal they said they didn't know. Unacceptable! We asked for an extra portion of jasmine rice. "We don't have any left, need to wait 40 minutes" ridiculous! Told them to bring the check and take away boxes because this meal was a disaster. Overall it was average. If you've been to new Orleans Houston Atlanta and had pho or are asian and eat this on the regular, you probably won't find much that stands out as a positive but you'll note things that are missing. Bun Bo hue doesn't come with pork knuckle or the beef blood and the vegetables they serve aren't the right ones. The pho is ok, but reminds me of the ones they have at casinos. Their Bun dishes are watery which is absolutely not how they are supposed to be done. I attribute the complaints I made to the owner catering to the predominately white clientele base who might not like going all in on their ethnic food. Not that many Asians in there besides us, and we got a weird look when ordering in Viet. Price wise they are a little up there as well. Service was off because they were somewhat busy but the lady was nice enough. read more

I dined here yesterday, and while the customer service was excellent, I couldn't help but notice that the restaurant has undergone some changes. It's now strangely cluttered, with small signs scattered about, indicating cash prices and warning that credit card payments will incur higher charges than those listed on the menu. The inflated prices didn't bother me too much, as long as the food is good. Unfortunately, the food was merely okay. What disappointed me the most was the portion size of the noodles, which was ridiculously small--almost half of what I would consider a regular portion. My bowl of pho contained a mere five small pieces of thinly sliced beef. Considering the price increase, it's disappointing that the portion sizes have shrunk. When I tell you... your life will change after you walk through the doors of this establishment. Pho Vn was a delightful surprise. From the start, our server Tim was excellent and made us laugh the entire dinner. The food was prepared quickly. I tried the veggie pho which was delicious: the flavors were detailed and vibrant. My Thai boba was also super rich and not too sweet which I appreciated. The music was instrumental renditions of great songs that made you just want to sing. Just waiting to receive my pho bowl the aromas coming out of the kitchen made my mouth water. Staff is friendly, and this place lives up to its reputation! The chicken is cut thin to soak up the most flavor. The broth is already flavorful, but the blend of sprouts, basil and jalapeño you add to it makes the flavor burst! They have lunch specials until 3pm and a lot to offer on the menu, plus beer and wine. Inside is spacious with plenty of tables as well as sushi bar seating, and they have a few TVs too. Service was friendly and efficient.

They're good to have every so often--just the kind of light bite we were looking for. The employees were very friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. Good to know for the next time we're in the area! The restaurant is conveniently located in the same plaza as Crumbl Cookies and Dunkin' Donuts, so there are plenty of options nearby. You can sit in and dine or take it to go. Like the options for quick service.

I want to mention the only employee that we saw and interacted with was Mashaya (sp) - she was very friendly and efficient. She not only took our order, she delivered our food, she was cleaning the tables, she was cleaning the restaurant, she was refilling the condiment station. She deserves a raise! The prices were reasonable. We had the steamed dumplings, but I wish we knew they came fried because they would've been better.
