I came here with a friend for dinner who was visiting Portland and said that this was one of her favorite spots. I got the shrimp pho which was just ok. The broth was pretty good, but it didn't wow me. My friend got a crepe with tofu in it that came with dipping sauce and you ate lettuce wrap style, and that was delicious. My husband and I came here for lunch after some research that my husband had done to find a new place to eat and try out. His research showed great reviews. This place was great. We had ordered the spicy beef noodle soup dish and honestly, I think it might have been the best thing that we could have ordered. It had two types of beef in it, along with a type of pork. I think the 'matzo ball' looking balls of meat that were in the soup were the pork. All was very good. I did have to close my eyes and think of something else in order to eat the pork balls because they reminded me of eyeballs. I could promise you, they were the exact size and shape of an eyeball, and of course it being almost halloween, how appropriate. My husband was worried that they might have been some sort of animal testicle. I'm sure they weren't. The noodles in the soup were a bit 'wormy' for my taste. I would have preferred them a bit rougher and firmer, so that I didn't feel like I was slurping up a fork full of worms. The broth was delicious!!! Oh my gosh!!! So good!!! It was very flavorful and had a really nice kick to it. I don't know about the rest of the menu (usually when I find a dish I like, I have a hard time trying others) but we will definitely come back for this dish alone. SO GOOD! p.s. The fish tank in the restaurant would have been more pleasant to look at if it wasn't empty of fish and wasn't so grungy looking. It looked like it hadn't been clean and taken care of for quite a while. It was really green and had a thick film of moss covering it. My advice: Clean it up. Keep it clean. I have no idea what the negative posters are talking about!!?? The food here is amazing. The Pho is delicious and the meat was so tender and not fatty at all. I had the vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken and I found it to be so flavorful and healthy. My son got the vermicelli bowl with pork and I thought that was even better than the chicken! He is a new fan and is now hooked on vietnamese food. That is saying a lot for a young man who is addicted to burgers and fries. We have tried several Vietnamese places in the area and like a couple of them but this one is our new favorite!!! We hope they are around for a long time. Vegetarian pho with beef broth is fantastic, cheap and plentiful. Having sampled most of the pho spots on the Eastside, @Pho.com is our weekly go to when we don't feel like waiting in line at Luc Lac. The atmosphere is cleaner and nicer than most pho spots (Luc Lac not withstanding). Be warned, closed on Wednesdays. read more

I had pho at different restaurant in town but pho here isnt that good like people think. I like the decoration of restaurant and the staffs however i took too long to wait for food. I ordered pho and my mom ordered turmeric noodle and it took 35 minutes waiting for our order to arrive while they only have a few customer at the restaurant. My mom called the server and ask when is her food ready cuz she already waited for half hour. The tumeric noodle wasnt well done cooked so it was so chewy. So disappointed with the food here and the time. Not worthy. The price is expensive than the other pho restaurant around the area read more

Not bad place if youre hurting for pho and dont want to drive anywhere. Everything is pretty pricey for what you get. I had the chicken pho. The soup wasnt bad, but there was very little vegetables and sides. The biggest shocker was the price of the ban mi....$13. Ive never paid over $7. Most are $4. Unless they have it loaded with prime rib, thats too much. I left a little hungry and dissapointed. Ill be going back to 82nd street for my pho. read more

I'm rating the place 2.5, but I'm not going to round it up. The soup that I got was at room temperature when it came out. I stayed away from here for quite some time, both because of the strange, cheesy name and because I missed Quan Chuc. But tonight, my husband and I finally gave in---we needed a Vietnamese food fix. The server greeted us cheerfully, the space is open and inviting, and our portions were generous. It didn't blow us away--I did wish for some more spices in the broth for the bamboo and duck soup--but it did satisfy. My husband's mixed grill hand roll platter was absolutely delicious, though, and will bring us back for more. Those grilled meats were irresistible. read more

1st visit, I just looked at their menu on line and ordered. I got a sugar cane chicken salad roll. (a8) It was HUGE. great peanut sauce, and pickled vegis. for entree I got c2 had shredded pork, which was ok, kinda chalky tasting. It also had porkchops, bone in and really thin. Good also. came with more pickled vegis, mm the cabbage was so perfect, and rice and a little thing of fish sauce. overall, I liked it. I had mine to go, and it was busy in the restaurant when I picked it up. I got a close parking spot, but it seems like the lot by that end of the shopping center is small. read more

So my boyfriend and I have been home for about 20 minutes after eating there, and we can't stop singing the praises of how good this place is. We walked in and the aromas instantly made us hungrier. I got the p2 (round steak and flank) pho, and my boyfriend got the vegetarian pho, and spring rolls. It was all the flavors I hoped for. The ingredients were super fresh,and seemed great in quality. The only down side that we saw, was that the spring rolls were nearly 7 dollars, for 4 pieces. They were super tasty, but that just seemed a bit much! The prices for everything else seemed on par with the rest of Portland. I got the P.com size (xtra large basically) and half of it was enough to fill me to the brim. I think @Pho.com is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Portland. I used to go to a couple other pho shops, but it has been the only place I eat Vietnamese in the last 8 months. I bring my group here every Saturday after our hiking trip to the Gorge or Mt. Hood. I have several favorites from the menu: Bun Rieu, Bun Bo Hue, and Napoleon Beef Skewers. The flavor is very authentic and the service is amazingly fast. I love the ambiance at night with all the brightly lit lanterns. read more

Walk in to a delicious scent and pretty lamps. Tried the lemongrass pork salad rolls with peanut sauce - delicious start. I had the beef pho. The broth was so tasty and the meat, noodle and veggies were generous. My son loved the baguette pork sandwich. Service was quick and polite. We will be back for more of the ultimate comfort food. I have to say the location in the strip mall on 82nd is not appealing. We found the restaurant to be clean and the staff to be friendly and accomidating. Since our first visit we have gone back frequently. They have great vegetarian options with veggies and tofu as well as beef and chicken dishes, that always taste fresh. The servings are on the larger size and are worth the 8-11 dollars. I recommend the tofu salad rolls, but my fiancé and daughter like the spring rolls. read more

I thought restaurant looked clean and the veggies were fresh and the "lemon grass chicken" was nicely done. Everything tasted fine. The last bite had 3 two inch black hairs (one with a root) under it embedded in the sauce. They were very fine and flexible so I can't believe it was blackened fibers from bamboo or lemon grass that the staff tried to get me to believe. They were not stiff enough to be boar's bristles and it doesn't seem reasonable it was 3 hairs from a human person in the sauce at the same spot. I have thought it over a lot and they looked more like cat hairs than anything else. I did not have to pay, and that was good but I think I ate cat. read more

Overall good for Gresham. Too expensive for what you get. Priced like it is farm to table. Also, really bummed that there are only 3 or 4 pho selections. No traditional pho here if you are like me and want the tripe, tendon and meatball version you can find every other place that has pho. Good thing there is no competition in the area.
