Holy Pho,the veggie Pho was delicious AND gigantic! The pho was so flavorful, veggies tender and tofu was perfect! Pork chop was tender and juicy, and egg rolls were crispy and very tasty. Great portion sizes. The Xl Pho is only $1 more than regular, and it's 40% larger! Service was fast. They were quick to fill our water and clear unused plates. Having gone to a nearby Thai food location near here and a Pho location in Northern Virginia yesterday, I thought I'd try this Pho establishment to experience any regional differences and how it would compare. The atmosphere is pleasant, good spacing between tables and good parking outdoors (it's located in a strip mall environment, so lots of parking. The menu has a lot of choices and variety to select from, meat, shrimp, fried tofu, vegetarian and the staff is willing to work to better match the customer's desire. I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, with the peanut sauce. I was a bit disappointed to find the only veggies was a very small amount of a lettuce leaf, tiny piece of basil (a small leaf), a slice of fried tofu, and a large amount of noodles, which be itself would be too filling to have anything else to eat on the menu. The peanut sauce was mainly hosin sauce with crushed peanuts on top of it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't a peanut base I'm used to getting (and like) to use with the spring rolls. Next I ordered tge smaller size of the vegetarian pho, with far less noodles than normally in it. I added some spice to it as well as the leftover "peanut sauce," and a touch of soy sauce. I added the fresh lime juice, bean sprouts an jalapeno slices provided on the side for people who want them in the pho or snack on outside the soup. The pho came with carrot, mushroom, baby corn, fried tofu, noodles, celery, broccoli and calififlower. In exchange for far less noodles I was given a baby boy choy which I appreciated. The pho was very good and the volume of contents was good as well. The prices are fair (and lower than more expensive areas like Northern Virginia, DC, Montgomery County, MD). I recommend this place and I will return when I'm in the area and to the Northern Virginia Pho location when I'm in that area. Additionally, I'll continue visiting other vegetarian offering locations in PA, MD, VA I've reviewed as well, including the non-vegetarian places I've visited and those I will visit in the future that offer menu choices I can order. For example Longhorn Steak offers sweet and regular potatoes, French onion soup, some vegetable sides and salad that are vegetarian friendly if you ask them to hold the meat and dairy products and use either no oil or other fats or the bare minimum. I gave one less star than I would otherwise have because of the spring rolls and (not really) peanut sauce. If not for the staff willingness to better match the customer's desire by modifying the menu slightly, this would have just 2 stars, not the 3 I gave.

Was staying around here and found this gem. The soup broth was sooooooooo flavorful!! It was such a joy eating this and the shrimp tempura thing we got as an all was nice and crispy. Everything was just so overwhelmingly wonderful. Although I will note that I was quite dehydrated after this meal. I don't care tho cuz it was worth it! Would also add that the service was amazing as well!

What a nice find. We were in the area and saw this Vietnamese restaurant listed in Yelp with a high rating. We haven't had Vietnamese is a while so it was a good option. It's a small restaurant with maybe 10-12 small tables. The service is quick and friendly while the food was fresh and tasty. This place gets crowded with eat in and with people coming in for take out orders. So I would plan on going earlier to make sure you get a table. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall.

Ok. I love this place. Eat in only. Do not get it delivered. I had my sights on one thing and was crushed. The noodles was better left me to cook them at home. As I stated, I have ate there in person and it's great just don't get it delivered. Let me say. I am going to add to this. I stopped by personally And they were kind to talk to. They made things right. This is a great place to eat. Just don't take out. Lol I changed from a 3 star to a five for the lady today that took my name. Remembered me. And had it on a post note. That is a two day customer service appreciation.

Since moving to the panhandle, we haven't had decent Vietnamese food. The options are slim to none. Tried Pho Viet as I was craving for noodles but not the greasy kind. Best decision that day! We ordered our usual faves to see how they compare to the best ones we've tried and wow! I could not stop eating! Pics are labeled for what the dish is called. Not pictured is the brisket Pho. The broth was delightful and we can't wait to go back!

This place was amazing! They exceeded all expectations in food quality, taste and price. Everything was so delicious! The portions were huge with lots of broth in the pho. I cannot recommend them enough. Every ingredient was clearly fresh and high quality. The location is unassuming in the strip next to the Harbor Freight. The dining room was clean with some festive decor. I would have preferred no televisions, but with the number of children at the next table, I suppose they were useful.

I love coming to this place. I work not to far from here and would stop by this place by myself for a quick meal. It's a small place so as soon as you walk in, you see all the table and a little counter for the cashier and the cook behind it. It's cute and quaint. You can sit wherever, immediately greeted by the waiter. Then they would bring you a cup of water and the menu without asking. I love that, for I always have to wait on my water any where else. I ordered, today, a wonton soup and B2, grilled pork and egg roll with noodles. It doesn't take long for the food to be prepared. As soon as I got the food, the smell is a big indication that the food will taste just as good. Everything was delicious! On the table, you are already set with their hot chili oil, hoisin sauce and soy sauce and eating utensils. Other restaurants charge you for their chilli oil, so this was a big plus! So all in all, food was delicious and reasonably priced. my whole meal was roughly $21. The service is always amazing. It's usually 2 ladies that I always see and they are always so friendly and never allow for my cup to be empty, I appreciate that. A must go to if your in the mood for Thai!

Delicious!! I put in a to-go order for their pho & Vietnamese cold coffee and it was amazing. It was ready when I got there roughly 10 minutes once I placed the order. They made sure to pack the broth, tofu,& all condiments (lime,bean sprouts,jalapeño, etc) together with chopsticks & other utensils which most places don't do anymore. I love their plethora of vegetarian options which is hard to find in Hagerstown. The Vietnamese cold coffee with condensed milk blows away any coffee I've had. It was perfectly balanced, strong & sweet. 10/10 for customer service & food quality!

We were in the area to visit Antietam with our group and drove to here for lunch because I was craving some home comfort food. To be honest, I did not have high expectation and I'm glad I didn't. I can't complain though, because I am from Orange County, in California, so this is good enough for this area. I got the rare beef and meat ball pho, my friends got the special (with everything) and my other friend got the chicken pho. Their pho noodle is not good. I think they should really reconsider buying a different brand of dry noodle. They also don't give a lot of protein for the price and the size. It seems like any size is just a huge bowl of soup and the noodle and everything just floating lost in the huge bowl. Would not recommend, but if you're in the area and craving pho, this is only place you can go though. They have good service, though, everyone at the restaurant was really nice and accommodating! read more

Went here during a holiday in the summer. The place was clean and sat about 30+. The service was pleasant and prompt. They had a good amount of people for lunch. It's in same plaza as Harbor Freight. My hubby had the large pho which was a decent size and I had the vermicelli noodle salad with pork and egg roll. The noodles were warm, not sure if this was by mistake or something they always do. Would recommend if you are in the area. read more

I usually stop here for gas and noticed a pho place so decided to give it a try. I tried the large P1 and the size was decent. What disappointed me was the broth, a previous reviewer mentioned it was salty and msg but I actually thought the total opposite! It tasted like just hot water with salt and pepper at the bottom of the bowl and any kind of flavor came from the meat. Can we take a moment to just say yum?! Wow. This phö is just that good. Finally a quality phö restaurant in Hagerstown. The broth is spot on. Delicious. Plain and simple. We ordered extra large P4's and were so very happy with our choices. Lots of beef and noodles. And the broth. It really hit the mark!! What a GEM! Best pho in town Finally! Hagerstown have been lacking authentic pho or yet vietnamese food. It's comforting to find this large bowl of goodness finally in West MD. it's family business. Ambient is simple and clean. We ordered the fried egg rolls and P1+P4. Egg rolls are exceptionally crispy and flavorful. A Must get. Pho was unbelievable. Quality meets my expectation. I love Pho! Spicy Noodle bowls are easily one of my favorite things to eat. I am from Georgia, where we have the "Flying Monk" noodle bar and this place was no different. Great flavor and the XL bowls do not disappoint for quantity or quality. The overall size of the restaurant was small but it still seems to be up and coming. We had great service during our visit, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend trying this place! read more

Stopped by for lunch on our way to Va. this past weekend. Really enjoyed our fresh shrimp rolls and phos. Wasn't expecting much being in Hagerstown but was really tasty and authentic! Very good Pho.. regular large bowl too big to finish even though it was tasty, but I also had an order of the crispy egg rolls which were also great ! Friend had the fried dumplings and said they were very good also. Large menu, so will try other items in the future. Smallish dining area (10 tables) will be an issue if they get too popular... and only canned soda's. read more

I was craving Pho and thought I would give Pho Viet a try. i called in an order for the Chicken Pho for pickup. First time there and this place is poppin! It was completely full - I think there was *maybe* a single table left. My food was delicious. Well spiced broth. Plenty of chicken, and tons of noodles, green onions in my take out container. Broth was still perfectly hot by the the time I got it home. I also got a baggie of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño, lime and chili oil. Really delicious. Will definitely be back again. read more

Magic Soup! I had a head cold so we went here as we were passing through for some good soup and boy did we get it. My wife called her wonton the best she's ever had (more like good chicken soup with tons of dumplings) and I had the XL Pho Tai. I'm not sure what they put in that soup, but it was delicious and seemed to cure me almost immediately. Started feeling better after 4 days. There were a few mix ups with the order, but they made everything right. read more

Let's be real...it's apparent that authentic Vietnamese food is very hard to come by around this area. I don't know about you, but I get a little skeptical when a new Asian restaurant opens. But I do have to say, Pho Viet has truly impressed me! I've been to plenty of pho shops in big metropolitan areas and this place stands out because of their vast menu. They don't just sell pho and rice plates. They sell a variety of different plates that I rarely see other pho shops offering! There's really something here for everyone. I can tell that the dishes are made authentically and with care to showcase what real Vietnamese food should taste like. The pho broth is flavorful and savory, the fried rice has excellent texture with big shrimp chunks, the fried chicken is juicy, and the pork/beef plates are grilled very nicely...love seeing the grill marks! After being a little adventurous, I've found that my favorite dish here is the shrimp hu tieu noodles. The pho and hu tieu tastes so good for the soul, and works as a great hangover cure ;) Pretty clean facility, I can see them wiping all the tables and chairs down almost immediately after people leave. Friendly staff that ensures you are well taken care of. My consensus is that this is a mom and pop shop that truly embraces their culture through excellent food, and wants to share it with the community. This is the closes I'll get to homemade Vietnamese while in the area. read more

Absolutely love this place. The I ordered P9 from the menu, which is Thai style Pho. I ordered the smaller size and had enough for two meals. They served it with fresh basil, lime, jalapeños, and bean sprouts. I was sick when I visited, and needed something to help clear my sinuses. It did just that! The flavor was spot on and I could tell that the ingredients were fresh. I will most definitely be back for more. read more

This review is based on the pho soup only. This is much better than the pho place in the mall or Pho Delite, but still not as good as Red Curry used to be. Still lacking in beef flavor. When I took home the uneaten portion and added beef bouillon to it, I liked it much better. The meatballs were kinda fatty, so I will get beef next time. Portion size was generous.
