Still looking for my go to Vietnamese place in Tulsa. Based on Tuan's review we passed on the Pho and ordered Bun Cha Gao, a dish I've enjoyed many times at other Vietnamese places. It consists of a bed of sliced vegetables and bean sprouts topped with vermicelli noodles, slices of egg roll and chopped peanuts. It's accompanied by a side of Nuac Mam, a fish based dipping sauce. This wasn't bad. Just not as good as others I've had. The owner who waited on us was enthusiastic and quite funny. Our orders arrived promptly. The place could be a little cleaner. The open bottles of sauces on the table had off-putting residues clinging to their spouts. The owner seems to be trying very hard. Hope he makes the few small adjustments that would greatly enhance his restaurant.

I usually do not make comments like these .. But I'm not sure how this place have a 4.1 rating .. it's horrible. The peanut sauce for the shrimp roll was liquified straight water .. no taste. The pho, Was so broken apart and cold that I couldn't even enjoy it. I brought in my 2 year old hoping to get serve fresh egg rolls but instead, I get two "fried enchiladas" that smell so foul .. after telling the server/owner to try it; he took a bite and agree that it was bad and cold .. please please please do better. My wife was 21 weeks pregnant and in hopes to bring her to satisfy her cravings .. I left with a $48.00 receipt and a unhappy wife: Please save your money and do not go to this place !! Owners of this restaurant, please treat your customers right and test your food before serving any of the food !!! Thanks

The boss is very kind but I am not used to raw bean sprouts, the Vietnamese spring roll is good. Spend less to get full.

Amazing place, ambiance was amazing, service was great!! I highly recommend, we came from Texas and by far this is the BEST!! pho we have ever had. Broad is authentic and made from scratch, highly recommend anyone coming to OK to come check it out!

I loved the pho ! The broth was infused with the perfect balance of spices, and the shrimp and fish were fresh and tender. The service was efficient, but the parking situation is a bit tricky. Still, it's worth the hassle for such a delicious bowl.

The food was amazing. The broth itself doesn't even need any additives. The thai tea also very delicious. Mr. Ten was very prompt, respectful, and welcoming. The restaurant itself is very cozy and homey. Great for a hangover meal !

Hidden gem in South Tulsa. Quaint, clean little restaurant tucked in across from Woodland Hills Mall. Friendly, courteous staff/owner. Ordered Pho Tai, Baguette with beef and Spring Rolls (shrimp). All ingredients were fresh. First bite of beef baguette had a nice crunch from start to finish. Cucumber with sliced carrots had a good snap when biting. Lovely sauce. Lived the spring rolls. Pho Tai with loads of mint/bean sprouts was wonderful. We were not disappointed. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend

So spoiled in Tulsa to have so many great options for Pho. This is our first time here and the owner is delightful and the Pho is definitely hitting all the right marks. We will be back!

Hands down the best pho I've had! The broth was so aromatic, and the balance of spices was perfect. Loved how fresh all the toppings were. I could eat here every week!

Located in downtown Tulsa, Kai Vietnamese Cuisine offers customers authentic Vietnamese food with a modern atmosphere. The restaurant is the only Vietnamese restaurant that offers a bar serving alcohol. The Vietnamese pho at Kai was delicious. The broth was savory and aromatic. The pho vegetables plate was bountiful. My favorite aspect of the soup was the pho noodles, just soft enough to maintain that springy texture that's so difficult to achieve. The fresh spring rolls were also excellent. Kai does not shy from giving customers jumbo size spring rolls. I also love the hot tea served at this restaurant which uses dried tea leaves. If there's a criticism with Kai, it would be the lack of variety of meats in their combination pho which only had 3 different meats, far fewer than what's standard for this dish.

I ordered the Pho with steak and brisket and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls were light and flavorful with a touch of cilantro to brighten each bite. The peanut dipping sauce was wonderful with just a bit left over. The Pho was just the right size. I ordered Medium with chicken broth. The accoutrements... onion, cilantro, jalapeños, bean sprouts, rice noodles, and lime wedges allowed me to customize my experience. Each bite was perfect and the jalapeño slices added a nice bit of flavor and heat. Prices are reasonable. Quality was exceptional and food tasted fresh. Definitely worth checking out,

The restaurant operates similar to fast food chain. Hot tea was served in a to-go cup and not in a traditional tea pot. The pho vegetables plate was small with lemons instead of limes, unlike most other Vietnamese restaurants. The pho broth was sugary sweet. The broth was clear without any hint of grease. For a broth made by simmering beef bones, I would expect some grease inside. The noodles had good texture and the spring rolls were great. For casual diners, Pho Da Cao may be good choice. For me, the quality of the pho is not to my standards.

I had the Vietnamese combination pho as usual. The broth lacked flavors. The combination pho only had meatballs and rare beef. How's that even combination? The pho noodles were too soft. The rice papers used as the wraps for the fresh spring rolls were a little hard. I was not impressed with Viet Huong on this particular visit. This hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant used to be my favorite restaurant in Tulsa. That time has gone. Maybe, next visit will write a different story. I came back just to make sure my review was accurate. I tried both Bun Bo Hue (my favorite Vietnamese soup) and the Vietnamese pho. The pho broth was the same (mildly flavorful) but the noodles were more firm than last time. The Bun Bo Hue was comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants in Tulsa, but I would say none of them are exceptional. Good luck finding a Vietnamese restaurant that serves exceptional Bun Bo Hue in Tulsa like Pho Cuong in Oklahoma City.

I've eaten the Vietnamese pho at this restaurant several times along with a few other entrees. The pho bowl of this restaurant is too small making it difficult to fit all the pho vegetables inside, especially when they fill the small bowl almost to the rim. The best feature of the pho was the meats which are my favorite of all the Vietnamese restaurants in Tulsa. The broth was okay, and pho noodles were soft without much texture. They always seemed to be out of fresh spring rolls, making me to doubt whether they even have them anymore. Service was very slow at Mekong River. On weekdays, there's usually only server available whether the restaurant is busy or not. One other thing I really like about Mekong River is the pre-brewed hot tea, giving the tea that mild bitter taste.

The flavor seems different -- not as rich or deep as before. I also ordered the chicken rice, and it was very dry and lacked the flavor it used to have.
