Bento Asian Diner - General Tao's E10. General Tso's Chicken, wontons, fried rice, Shrimp Tempura Roll - Asian Fusion Near Me - Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Cons: I don't like this place. Never have. But my coworker wanted to try sushi and it was the closest place near work. In the end, no one liked their food. And my coworker was too scared to try the sushi. Pros: great lunch specials! Wow you get so much food. Food was ready for pick up when we specified. Nice employees. read more

I ordered a couples rolls, I notice that the ingredients listed on the menu is not what you got on your plate lol. I honestly could've made this at home with stuff I have in my kitchen... they put tajin on the sushi roll read more

Authentic? Hell, I don't know. I'm am not of Asian ethnicity, nor am I an expert on Asian cuisine. I can say with absolute credibility that I don't know what I am talking about. It's a good place to be. I can go through life fat dumb and happy without being incumbered with prejudice regarding the authenticity of the food. Rating it is easy, either I like it or I don't. I read a review for Bento Asian Diner, where the reviewer said "Just fyi, this is NOT Japanese food. It's Chinese food that looks Japanese." That is probably very significant information for connoisseurs of the cuisines. I don't doubt the reviewer's expertise. But as a neophyte, to me that has the relevance of saying that a cheeseburger is being made to look like a patty melt. Ok, Well? Food tastes better when it is served with each entrée and side having its own little isolated section. No mixing. No messing around on the plate. It is proven technology. For instance, it keeps the chocolate cake from mixing with the green beans on my Swanson Hungry Man dinner. A Bento Box is neat. I ordered the Deluxe Bento. A chance to try several menu items. General Tso's, Bento Spicy Chicken, Fried rice, Chicken Egg Roll, California Roll and a salad (pictures). Everything was fantastic except the California Roll. I was amply warned, it is called a "California" Roll. My wife went the Classic Bento Orange Chicken, Crispy Spring roll and a Shrimp Tempura Roll. Everything was fantastic on her plate. The Orange Chicken had a prominent orange flavored sauce, over crispy fried breast meat. The meals started with a phenomenal Egg Drop Soup. Both very enjoyable meals with generous portions. A family owned and staffed business. Friendly, personable young siblings were managing the front end of the restaurant this afternoon. The restaurant is clean. No Sriracha bottle boogers. The youngest son was scrubbing a table when we walked in. He made sure it was spotless. We picked that table. The restaurant has a hint of Asian décor; Chinese, Japanese IDK? We truly enjoyed our meals and the dining experience. My #2 choice for Asian food in Broken Arrow behind Keo; because I liked it! read more

I really liked the food and variety in the bento box options. I will be back for sure. Also, for lunch it was super quick.!

They have bento boxes for around 11 dollars with way too much food! I had the tofu and my kids got sweet and sour chicken. It was all very good and the staff was super friendly. read more

Not the best but not the worst. I'm giving 3 stars because it's pretty much right in the middle. Prices are very good, service is good but food is average. The bento box is always a fun meal and they offer many options. I ordered the kids meal and they brought it out on a cute fish plate and the portion size was plenty big for me. read more

Bento is one of the better Chinese food in the Tulsa area. I got the classic bento box for $8.99 which was great value for money. Everything tasted great although the sushi was slightly mushy if I have to be fussy. My husband always orders Kway Teow (flat rice noodles) because it's the best we could find around here. read more

I ordered a combo dinner consisting of General Tso's chicken, lo mein, an egg roll, and a California roll. It arrived all in one container. The lo mein was tasteless, the egg roll was too. Just hot wet texture. The chicken was good. The California roll, since it was in the same container as everything else, was hot. Hot sushi. I lived in Japan for four years. I've never heard of a hot sushi roll. I called the restaurant and asked if that was how they served their sushi and the lady said sometimes. I told her I've never heard of a hot sushi roll and she said I should have made a special request for it to be separated if I didn't want it hot. I'm not a professional chef. It's not my job to make sure food is served properly. Gross. read more

The first time going into Bento felt very welcoming, they led us to nice comfortable seating after greetings us at the door. The place is sounded with light music, great picture and culture. The menu is great very organized, easy to follow. Customer service is great, after coming here a few times I never change my mind or had a bad experience eating there or take out(if you prefer). The main dishes are great, sushi is really good, they also have amazing spring rolls and delicious miso soup. I will definitely be coming back for a long time. So don't be shy and come into Bento and try there amazing dishes. read more

I just found a favorite dish I haven't had a chance to try/ find anywhere else Kway Teow Noodles and I am in yumminess heaven! The flavor is ALL there without being greasy or overly sauced. Plus if you mention dieting or anything like that they try to help too with options and tips! FOOD WAS IMMACULATE. Recommend for quick dinner the service is great and everyone is so polite

Horrible service!! They asked if the food was okay but one of the people I was dining with didn't like her entree and they refused to fix that. The rice was undercooked and the spicy chicken was so salty. I can't believe this place has been around like this and still serving people like this. read more

Was not a fan but would probably give it another shot if around there again but honestly memories of Japan though and fraction bit more money is well worth it for the flavor of the chicken alone but the service wasn't very good lady acted like she was busy when I was the only one there at the time and took forever to get out of there read more

Being completely honest, this is totally not the type of restaurant I would typically choose to eat at, but my boyfriend was set on taking me there. It was INCREDIBLE! Bento Asian Diner - Bento Box: teriyaki chicken, chicken egg roll, California roll, white rice, and egg drop soup. Only $10! - Asian Fusion Near Me - Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Decided to try this place through Door dash tonight. Food arrived hot, appetizer was good, egg rolls were good, but that's where it went south. 4 of the 5 people ordered chicken (Sesame Chicken, General Tao's chicken, and sweet and sour chicken). The chicken dishes, although very hot, tasted horrible. Bland flavorless chicken with a weird after taste and the fried rice was soggy white rice with vegetables with no sign of being fried. And to top it off everyone started getting sick and had to go home. We will never go to this place again and would not recommend to my worst enemy. Shockingly bad food. read more

We got the chicken Bento Box. Tasted old. The only thing that was great was the salad.

Had there sizzling plate delight which is a large serving of three meats and is loaded with vegetables and served with the kind of rice you would like. It is currently my favorite. read more

We've always talked about trying this place, and we finally got around to doing so! I'm glad we did. Now we have another option for lunch or dinner, because this was a pretty solid place to eat. I went in for the classic bento box which gives you one entree, one app, one soup, one sushi roll and a side. Everything came out piping hot, and it was delicious. There was so much food, over half of it went home with us. So 2 meals for $8 that doesn't come in a paper sack with fries on the side is a pretty sweet deal! There are usually ValPak coupons for this place, and you can bring your receipt back to get more discounts. read more

Chicken tasted pretty old and reheated. Also the owner didn't really wash there hands after getting up from eating their own food.

I have been here at least 20 times in the past 3 years, and it is delicious every single time. The staff are soooo nice and friendly, the food is quick and delicious, and you can't beat the prices. The people saying the food is "meh" are obviously on crack or something lol. Trust me, this place is bomb. read more

I have been a customer of this restaurant for years, and I have never had a negative experience. All of the flavorful food, attentive service, and friendly atmosphere expected from a family-owned restaurant, with prices that are reasonable at worst and wonderful at best. The orange chicken actually tastes like oranges, and their egg drop soup is my go-to for chilly days. I bring people here for dates, lunches, and for take out! read more

4th time eating their food, each time has been great. First few times the dining area was closed due to the pandemic. Today we ate in the dining area. A great experience!! I went here one night randomly after running errands and have always wanted to give it a try. We stopped in and ending up eating at the restaurant itself. I love the bento boxes and that you can get whatever you want in them to make it your own. I will not lie, it was not the greatest thing ever, but I thought it was decent. Do not know if I will make an effort to come back here but if I am needing a bite to eat in the area maybe I will be back. I just felt like the food was kind of blah. Although I do enjoy the dumplings and appetizers since they are pretty basic. Always a good place to try if you are wanting the bento box experience but do not want to go out to dinner and pay the ridiculous price you would any other high end Japanese restaurant. read more

The people here are very nice. They have lots of options and were very accommodating to my vegetarian..ness. Appetizers are $1-7, sushi is $5-8, and entrees are $7-12. The coffee jelly roll (which is more like a cake roll) is really good and only $2. read more

Average food at best. Potstickers were good but my spicy tuna roll left something to be desired. In lieu of the typical spicy mayo there was instead sriracha and red chile powder which made the flavor a bit strong on the palate. It'll do but I probably won't be having the sushi again. Prices are reasonable though so that's a plus. read more

The sushi was room temp and had zero flavor. It had peanuts and shrimp on it, and still zero flavor, just hot. The hot and sour soup was alright, but the bar was weird. The egg roll was obviously purchased frozen and had a weird preservative taste. Staff was nice and attentive though. read more

We loved this place! The different variety of food is awesome, not to mention the cool bento box they serve it in. Food was mediocre. My girlfriend and I both got bento boxes. They got 2 of the 5 things in her box wrong. She ordered sesame chicken and California roll she received General Tso chicken and a shrimp tempura roll. She isn't very picky so she didn't send it back. It was brought to their attention and they offered to add sesame seeds to her dish... she declined and ate everything but the shrimp tempura roll (she doesn't like shrimp). It wasn't busy there was only one other table there. Disappointed they couldn't get a simple order correct. read more

I order thirteen dollars of food and paid for it. I then realized I had left of egg roles. I asked for egg roles to be included. No problem and additional 3 dollars but they wanted to charge me 5 dollars because they have a minimum order. WTF. I just spent 13 dollars and wanted to give them more money for the egg roles and they wanted to screw me for 2 dollars. Bad business policy. Chicken and Broccoli tasted like it was reheated. Egg roles the same. Fired rice was not good. Overall bad food. read more
