Love getting a quick fix of pho whenever one is either budgeting or in a hurry for lunch, this place is the place to go if you're in the area. Its great because they have sampler bowls of pho which is basically half the size of a small bowl but only for 5$. They dont skim on the meat neither! They also still give you the veggies on the side with no extra charge, where as the original Pho Tre Bien off Gateway would charge an extra 2$ to add veggies for their sampler bowls. No thanks! Might as well get the full, small bowl in that case. And Express lets you add an eggroll (lumpia) for only $1. Pretty sweet deal to me. My only gripe with this place is how small it is. When you consider everything that should deter you from this restaurant, such as limited parking and limited seating, I never find myself hating this place. In fact, despite those negatives, I always walk away with nothing but great things to say about this place. If you want delicious food and you want it hot and fresh. Do not skip over this place. The Pho is consistently hot and savory and the perfect remedy for those cold days in El Paso. Heck, I had a bowl this week and it was in the 80s, I don't discriminate. The rice and beef platters are always hot and filling. Portions are huge! Don't even get me started on the sandwiches though. These things are magical. This place has a really good selection of foods. I didn't give this a complete 5 bc the curries/soups are extremely oily. I have never sat down to eat but every time I order takeout it's the same. My body doesn't handle oily foods very well so I end up saving it or throwing it out, depending on how my body reacts. I did order a separate bowl of broth once and when that got cold you could see the oils on top. I've tried other pho places but they all deliver the same extra oily foods. Exceeded my expectations. Ordered a combo pho and it came with a lot of tendon, beef balls, thick cuts of brisket, and a good amount of rare steak with onions. I would say very very average, which to me means not really worth the money....that is if you ask me. The boba.....where do I start? I would say it is more worth driving to Vietnam and getting your own than having one at this place. Now this product from them was absolutely dispicable. Not the cute dispicable from the movie 'Dispicable Me' but as in absolutely TRASH. DO NOT GET THE BOBA. period. I tried out this place, very disappointed! I called in my order and arrived early to pick up my order. When I got there the waiter was packing my order while he was packing my order he sneezed without covering up on my food. I was like yuck! I didn't say anything. The restaurant is in a small parking lot west of the corner gas station, a sandwich shop and a barbershop. If you drive too fast you just might miss it. Its a small dinner however the portions are not. It's probably one of the better Vietnamese bun dishes I've had since I've been here in El Paso. Then this is what we got. A spicy beef noodle soup and a plate of cilantro bean sprout AND A USED LIME...i don't know why the restraunt does this. What they charge us already included these stuff right? Why not give people clean new stuff. If people don't use them it doesn't mean they can be reused. Cuz they can set the chopsticks spoon napkin or anything else on it. I'm not gonna blame on the table cleaning guy. Cuz this is what the restraunt decided to do. So I suggest customers better be careful of this kind of things. They have a lot customers wiz children. Are you gonna let your babies eat things like this??? The place was super busy when I got there so I had a long wait for my order. When I finally got my food they had made a mistake and took it back. When I got the correct order my spoon smelled like bleach!!! This was my FIRST time here but I will admit that I will be returning!! Almost didn't go because of the reviews. That would have been a big mistake. This place has a very cozy atmosphere, and they make delicious sandwiches. Their mango bubble tea was also great. Had the chance to check this place out for the first time recently, and we were pleasantly surprised!! The outside isn't much to look at, as it is part of a tiny little strip mall next to a gas station, but inside is modern and cute and clean! I had the combination Pho and tried 1 egg roll of each. It's a small place right by a gas station. Very clean and quite. Within 8 minutes from ordering we had our food. I was shocked at how good everything was and fresh. The Pho was excellent, broth was slightly weak compared how I like it but very good other then that. Tons of noodles. Vietnamese spring roll was surprisingly good, made and wrapped perfectly. Lumpia was made just as expected. Nothing special but crispy and tasteful Egg rolls were not too far off from the lumpia but a little less crunch. If I could change one thing about the whole experience, it would be a few more sauces. Don't order delivery. It's not worth the hassle. They won't fulfill your request as written. They won't give any utensils. I've been a regular here for a couple of years. The food is always fresh and authentic tasting. As a meat eater turned vegan I can attest that no matter what you order it's always delicious! Now I've always noticed that the place could be ALOT cleaner than it is. The floors are sticky, the tables are dirty (have to ask for a wipe down), and the restroom is disgusting. I know that they are a popular restaurant so I always justify the mess to the high volume of business. Now the staff is usually very cold and they seemed bothered to be working.
